Check out “Fuego” by DJ Snake, Sean Paul & Anitta ft. Tainy HERE.

The video for “Fuego” finds all three artists entering a dark and fiery underworld resembling an old circus, complete with mirror mazes, fire tunnels, and shadowy forests. It follows DJ Snake’s bright and colorful visual for “Loco Contigo” (with J. Balvin & Tyga), a bilingual summer anthem also featured on Carte Blanche. Since premiering in June, “Loco Contigo” has amassed over 153 million streams on YouTube and emerged as one of Spotify’s most streamed songs of the summer. Watch the video HERE.

A leading artist in the new generation of Latin American music, Anitta is the biggest-ever global female pop star to come from Brazil. To date, she’s amassed over 40 million Instagram followers and 12-plus million YouTube subscribers, garnering more than 3.8 billion views. Named among the world’s 15th most influential musicians on social media by Billboard, she released her latest album (the trilingual KISSES) in April 2019 and is now at work on her first completely English solo album.

Hailing from St. Andrew, Jamaica, dancehall superstar Sean Paul broke into the pop mainstream with his double-platinum, Grammy Award-winning 2002 album Dutty Rock. With nearly all of his albums so far nominated in the Best Reggae Album category at the Grammy Awards, his past releases also include Full Frequency — a chart-topping 2014 album featuring guest spots from such artists as Nicki Minaj and 2 Chainz. Earlier this year, he earned a nomination in the Favorite Crossover Artist category at the Latin American Music Awards.

Along with “Fuego” and “Loco Contigo,” Carte Blanche includes the triple-platinum single “Taki Taki” ft. Selena GomezOzuna & Cardi B (DJ Snake’s second global #1 record), “Enzo” (a collaboration with Sheck Wes, featuring Offset21 Savage & Gucci Mane), and the India-inspired club smash “Magenta Riddim. Released in July, the album is the second full-length from DJ Snake.

About DJ Snake:
DJ Snake made his full-length debut with the 2016 album Encore, which hit #1 on Billboard’s Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart and debuted in the top 10 around the world. Since scoring his first #1 with the four-times-platinum “Let Me Love You” ft. Justin Bieber, DJ Snake has achieved massive success with hits like “Get Low,” “You Know You Like It,” “Lean On,” and “Middle.” With its title translating to “the freedom to do whatever one chooses,” his sophomore album Carte Blanche arrived in July 2019 and shot to #1 on Billboard’s US Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart, in addition to reaching the top 50 on the Billboard 200.

About Anitta:

Tupac Shakur, Interscope Record, 360 MAGAZINE

25th Anniversary Vinyl Reissue of Thug Life

Interscope Records announces the release of a 25th anniversary vinyl reissue of Thug Life: Volume 1 — the only studio album from Thug Life, the group founded by rap legend and cultural icon Tupac Shakur. In addition to the vinyl reissue, the anniversary celebration includes the release of all-new Thug Life merchandise, including t-shirts, a hoodie, jacket, overalls and beanie. Album t-shirt and hoodie will also be available for purchase bundle with vinyl.

See link to Tupac official store HERE.

Initially released on September 26, 1994, Thug Life: Volume 1 received gold certification from the RIAA. Among the album’s notable tracks are “How Long Will They Mourn Me?” ft. Nate Dogg, a reflective but powerful piece featured on 2Pac’s diamond-selling double-album Greatest Hits. In addition, the largely-self-produced Thug Life: Volume 1 includes tracks like “Pour Out a Little Liquor” (which also appears on the soundtrack to Tupac’s 1994 film Above the Rim), “Cradle to the Grave,” and “Str8 Ballin’.”

Prior to forming Thug Life in 1993, Tupac had established himself as a formidable new force in the hip-hop world with his 1991 debut album 2Pacalypse Now and 1993’s platinum-certified Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z. With its unapologetically honest and deeply personal look at street life, Thug Life: Volume 1 is widely considered a crucial midpoint between Tupac’s early work and his history-making, diamond-selling, massively influential 1996 album All Eyez on Me.

Tracklist for Thug Life: Volume 1:

Eastside:
1.  Bury Me a G
2.  Don’t Get It Twisted
3.  Shit Don’t Stop
4.  Pour Out A Little Liquor
5.  Stay True

Westside:
1.  How Long Will They Mourn Me?
2.  Under Pressure
3.  Street Fame
4.  Cradle To The Grave
5.  Str8 Ballin’

In December 2016, it was announced that Tupac would be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, making him the first solo hip-hop artist to be recognized for inclusion. The ceremony took place in Brooklyn, New York, on April 7, 2017, and included a musical tribute from Snoop Dogg, Alicia Keys, and T.I. Along with his musical career, Tupac also found success and critical acclaim as an actor, starring in films like JuicePoetic JusticeAbove The RimGridlock’d, and Gang Related.

Tupac’s life and legacy continue to impact and influence culture today, from a groundbreaking performance via hologram at the 2012 Coachella Music and Arts Festival to a spoken-word appearance on Kendrick Lamar’s critically praised 2015 album To Pimp A Butterfly.

The initial launch will officially kick off with a “Forbidden Flowers Tour”’ which will take place over the next seven weeks. Starting on Thursday, October 10, 2019, on the forbiddenxflowers Instagram page at 10:00 a.m. PT, the first retail location, where consumers can purchase products from the following day on Friday, October 11, 2019, will be revealed. Each Thursday at 10:00 a.m. PT following through Thursday, November 21, 2019, the forbiddenxflowers Instagram page will reveal a new retail location in California, where Forbidden Flowers products can be purchased that following Friday. At the end of the seven weeks, additional retail locations across the Golden State California, which will carry Forbidden Flowers, will be announced to fans.

“I have struggled with anxiety for many years, and weed was the one source I found for me to do the most healing. Because of the properties in weed, I have been able to cope with my anxiety in a natural way, rather than my doctors trying to fix it using prescription drugs,“ said Artist Bella Thorne

“It’s been great spending time with Bella and getting to know and understand her as an individual before we created her brand together,” said Glass House Group Chief Marketing Officer Groovy Singh. “Her creative direction on Forbidden Flowers has been absolutely artistic and impressive. We’re proud to join forces with Bella in rolling out this sexy, enticing, high-quality brand that embodies her captivating spirit. The authenticity of what we are bringing to market together with Forbidden Flowers is what Bella handpicked at our grow, consumed and loved. At a time when more people are exploring the power of cannabis, we look forward to introducing a whole new community to the benefits of cannabis and to Bella sharing with her fans and consumers the ways she incorporates cannabis and CBD into her daily lifestyle.”

Bella worked intimately with Glass House Group to create Forbidden Flowers, which aims to give consumers the same rebellious, empowered feeling many consumers get when they consume cannabis. Today, despite the plant being legal in more than two-thirds of the U.S. in some form, cannabis consumers still face a variety of outdated stigmas. Recognizing that more new consumers are eager to become better educated about cannabis and CBD, Thorne plans to share the various ways she incorporates cannabis and CBD into her lifestyle, health and wellness regimes with her more than 21 million social media followers.

“Bella’s entire product line has been cultivated at our sun-powered, state-of-the-art facility in California using the same high-quality control and earth-friendly approach we are known and respected for,” said Glass House Group President Graham Farrar. “We brought some genetics that we grew for Bella for this launch and we are confident that both our long-time and new consumers are going to love these new product lines.”

To fit any mood or setting, Forbidden Flowers’ Indica, Sativa, Hybrid and CBD varieties will be available in stylish: glass jars eighths of flower; pre-roll five-packs; and pre-roll singles. Each Forbidden Flowers variety has been cultivated exclusively at Glass House Farms in Santa Barbara using coastal sun, organic standards and environmental sensibility to deliver uncompromising quality to consumers.

“We set out to engage a whole growing community of consumers embracing the cannabis and CBD market,” said Glass House Group CEO Kyle Kazan. “We’re pleased to have Forbidden Flowers join our growing portfolio of brands and to bring these products to consumers. We also look forward to rolling out more strategic brands and announcing partnerships in the future.”

Should I Upgrade My iPhone?

With new iPhone devices launched by Apple every fall, trying to figure out when the right time to get a new iPhone – or even just a new iPhone case – can be really confusing.

Some folks wait at least two or three new iPhones before they jump on board, other people grab the latest and greatest iPhone as soon as it comes out, and some folks (some might call them crazy) are even using iPhones that came out five or six years ago.

To help you figure out when you should consider upgrading your iPhone we’ve put together this quick guide.

Hopefully the inside information below helps you better determine when the time is right to own the trigger on a new phone from Apple, taking advantage of the latest and greatest technology without feeling like you are upgrading just for the sake of upgrading.

Let’s dig right in!

How is Your Battery Life?

The number one reason to upgrade your iPhone is because your older iPhone simply isn’t holding a charge as long as it used to – spending a lot more time on the charger than off of it.

Like anything else man-made, the batteries inside of iPhones are going to degrade over time. They aren’t going to be able to hold as much juice on a single charge as they use to when they were brand-new.

Now, you might not notice any real difference in battery life between a brand-new iPhone and a-year-old iPhone. But the odds are pretty good that you’ll notice some serious differences between a two-year-old, three-year-old, or even four-year-old iPhone and one just launched this year.

Not only are the new iPhone batteries bigger and capable of holding a charge longer than ever before, but they also use next-generation lithium-ion battery technology. This helps them last a lot longer than previous iPhone batteries could – a great reason to get your hands on a new one.

How is Your Camera?

The folks at Apple are always looking for new ways to push iPhone photography further and further into the future.

Almost every new iPhone comes with a radically new set of cameras, brand-new camera sensor technology, and all kinds of improvements to the way that photos and videos are handled and captured through iOS and apps.

This latest version of the iPhone is such a revolutionary new leap forward (whether you go with the dual or triple camera configuration) that folks are having to buy entirely different iPhone cases because the new camera set up is so completely different.

If you feel like your iPhone isn’t taking photos or videos in high definition any longer, or if you feel like you could be getting a lot more out of your smart phone pictures with next-generation technology, it may be time to get your hands on a brand-new iPhone.

As we highlighted just a second ago, the latest iPhone offers the best camera experience of ANY phone – ever.

How is iOS Working?

Apple gets a little bit of heat every now and again when people with older iPhones learn that they aren’t going to be able to update to the latest iOS (with the new iOS version launching almost every September alongside new iPhone devices).

But the truth the matter is that iOS has grown by leaps and bounds ever since it was first unveiled more than a decade ago. Older devices just don’t have the power, performance, or horsepower necessary to use the latest iOS features designed for much more robust iPhone devices – and modern applications may be programmed to take advantage of hardware features not available in the first few iPhones, too.

At the end of the day, the reason that Apple doesn’t allow every single iPhone (or iPad, for that matter) to update to the latest iOS – dropping support for some devices over time – is because those devices can’t run the iOS any longer.

It isn’t some sort of planned obsolescence but is instead just a reality of the technology landscape we live in today.

If you have an older iPhone that either cannot update to the latest iOS version (and cannot access new applications because of it) or have an older phone that just isn’t run the latest iOS all that smoothly, it’s probably time to shell out for a new iPhone that will be good for at least five years (if you don’t upgrade again in the meantime).

Paul Basagoitia HBO Documentary

By Vaughn Lowery

At the ripe age of 10, Paul Basagoitia has been one of the top mountain bikers in the world. Fast forward a decade or so later, he became one of the first MTB athletes to complete a backflip on natural terrain. Nevertheless, on October 16, 2015, during a run at the Red Bull Rampage his bike slip during his set and caused him to tumble down the face of a mountain, resulting in a spinal cord injury. This intimate documentary exhibits his struggle to overcome one of the most serious injuries an athlete has to endure. Intercut with other patients and their stories, this motion picture is heartbreaking and delves deep into the mental psyche of those who experience such tragedy. Approximately 250,000 people per year injure their spines and only have a 5% chance of recovery. Mr. B’s personal journey is brutally honest and vulnerable. By far one of the best told stories of 2019. Be prepared to be torn between life and the inability to follow what makes you happy – your passion.

“Thank you to the BET Hip Hop Awards and hip hop/rap community for the Best Collab and Single of the Year wins. You kept OTR at No. 1 for 19 consecutive weeks. More importantly, you made me feel welcomed into your home and world. I’m dedicating these wins to Mr. Nipsey Hussle – a legend gone way too soon,” Cyrus shared.

Recently, Cyrus learned he was nominated in the Musical Event of the Year category with Lil Nas X during the 53rd CMA Awards after taking home two MTV VMA Moonmen for Song of the Year and Best Direction for Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road (Remix, featuring Cyrus).”

Billy Ray Cyrus became a household name over the course of his unprecedented career which spans across music, television and theater. Throughout his nearly three decade career, Cyrus has achieved worldwide success as a singer, songwriter, actor and producer. The lead single, “Achy Breaky Heart,” became a phenomenon as the single went multi-platinum. After “Achy Breaky Heart,” Cyrus followed up with back to back hits “It Could’ve Been Me,” “She’s Not Crying Anymore,” “Wher’m I Gonna Live When I Get Home?” and the anthemic “Some Gave All.” Cyrus knocked himself out of the top Billboard position with the his second No. 1 album, It Won’t Be The Last, featuring smash hits “In the Heart of a Woman,” “Words By Heart” and “Somebody New.” Cyrus followed up with dozens more that defined country music. “To me, my most defining moment in country was being joined by George Jones and Loretta Lynn on my self-penned ‘Country Music Has the Blues,’” said Cyrus. Recently, Cyrus has shattered records with Lil Nas X with the global smash, “Old Town Road,” which has remained No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for 19 consecutive weeks. Returning to his Kentucky roots, BBR Music Group/BMG released Cyrus’s new single on July 19 with emerging artist Johnny McGuire titled, “Chevys and Fords,” which Rolling Stone Country proclaimed is “a gently rocking country tune brimming with Springsteen-inspired, vehicle-based nostalgia…finds the two vocalists singing about how they come from a long line of Chevys and Fords.’

Christened “Brooklyn Rap’s Homecoming King” by New York Times and averaging over 1 million monthly listeners on Spotify already, Pop Smoke is undoubtedly the next breakout artist from Brooklyn.   Pop Smoke’s  2019 mixtape Meet The Woo has already racked up nearly 20 million total streams in addition to boasting high-profile cameos from Nicki Minaj and Skepta. In a stellar review, Pitchfork claimed, “The Brooklyn rapper makes good on the promise of ‘Welcome to the Party’ with a debut full of the hardest, dirtiest tracks he can manage.”

SKI MASK THE SLUMP GOD
SATURDAY, 5:25 PM

With over 6 million monthly listeners on Spotify, SKI MASK THE SLUMP GOD has quickly become an inescapable and influential hip-hop force. The project includes lead singles “Faucet Failure” and “Nuketown” which have garnered over 167 million streams and over 115 million streams respectively. Also in 2018 he released “Beware The Book of Eli” which includes lead singles “DoIhaveTheSause?” and “Coolest Monkey In The Jungle”. In 2017 he released ”You Will Regret (Reloaded)” which boasts three anthems that each cracked 100 million Spotify streams, namely “BabyWipe,” “Take A Step Back,” and “Catch Me Outside.” Applauded by Billboard, Complex, Pigeons & Planes, HotNewHipHop, XXL, and many more, he remains both a critical and fan favorite.

BLUEFACE
SATURDAY, 5:25 PM

Blueface flipped rap upside down in 2019 with his own flow, flare, and fire. Dirt Bag yielded one banger after another with “Bleed It” [68 million Spotify streams], “Daddy” featuring Rich The Kid [49 million Spotify streams], “Bussdown”featuring Offset [14 million Spotify streams], and “Bussin”featuring Lil Pump [9.7 million Spotify streams], to name a few. As part of his recent inclusion on the XXL “Freshman Cover,” the outlet proclaimed him “one of the hottest new acts in the game” and claimed “the 22-year-old rapper has drawn comparisons to legends like E-40 and Juvenile due to the off-kilter flow that finds him rapping against the current of whatever beat he’s on.” Echoing this sentiment, Complex wrote, “his cadence—skittering and almost comical—doesn’t fit neatly into the current (or past) landscape of hip-hop. But that’s exactly what makes him so interesting.”

KASH DOLL
SUNDAY, 4:15 PM, SAUCE STAGE

Detroit rapper Kash Doll is on a serious roll. Her new album Stacked came out on October 4 and features songs with Lil Wayne, Big Sean, Trey Songz, Teyana Taylor, Summer Walker and more. This summer, she received a BET Award nomination for “Best Female Hip-Hop Artist” and earlier this year she toured the country with Meek Mill.

Detroit native Kash Doll has impacted the music industry with a commanding force, dropping street-earned truths with her throwback wordplay and powerful bars. The one-two combination of spirit and sass announced her as fiery female force in 2019 after quietly amassing 30 million-plus on-demand streams, garnering the BMI Social Star Award and “Issa Wave Award” at the BET Social Awards, and inking a deal with Republic Records. An unbelievable story brought her to this point. Losing her dad on just her first birthday, she always held down multiple jobs to support her mom and siblings. And at 18, she started investing in herself eventually opening two beauty bars and funding her own music career. She made waves on the 2014 independent debut mixtape, Keisha Vs. Kash Doll. Following 2016’s Trapped In The Dollhouse, she developed a presence as a touring force and earned coveted co-signs from Drake, Big Sean, Rick Ross, Remy Ma, and many more. The 2018 The Vault mixtape captured #1 on multiple mixtape sites as her debut single for Republic Records “Ice Me Out” and its 2 Chainz-assisted official remix clocked 18 million-plus total streams. Last year, Kash Doll also released a project solely for her fans titled Brat Mail to thank them for all their continued support. The project garnered over 23 million global streams and features the break out single “Check.” Shortly before Brat Mail, Kash released one of her biggest singles to date, “For Everybody,” which racked up over 10 million YouTube/VEVO views independently. Outside of music, this boss runs Kash Doll Enterprises and does charity work around her hometown. Her city bestowed the “Spirit of Detroit” Award upon her.
