Anthony Ramos – Blessings

ANTHONY RAMOS DROPS NEW SINGLE BLESSINGS, LISTEN TO BLESSINGS HERE

Celebrated actor and singer Anthony Ramos shares a new single entitled Blessings via Republic Records today.

Listen to Blessings here

Powered by upbeat high-energy production, the track highlights his dynamic vocals, slick charisma, and undeniable star power. His voice rises and falls with the bounce before exploding on the dance floor-ready hook, Shawty wanna bless me…Shawty feelin’ sexy… Be on the lookout for the premiere of the music video May 21st.

Blessings follows hot on the heels of Say Less which Ramos released last month.  Beyond tallying 1 million total streams, it attracted widespread critical acclaim right out of the gate. Rolling Stone praised it as an unabashedly steamy piece of R&B, and Billboard declared his seductive, effervescent croon on ‘Say Less’, an atmospheric R&B late-night jam in the vein of the Weeknd. About the red hot music video featuring Ramos’s In The Heights costar Melissa Barrera, Remezcla wrote, Ramos and Barrera let off some major steam. The new music showcases a more sensuous Pop/R&B sound for the artist.

My debut album was incredibly personal and autobiographical, says Ramos. ‘Blessings’ is a celebration of life, a toast to the world opening up, and all the blessings that come with it.

In addition to releasing new music, Ramos recently starred in Calvin Klein’s new Spring 2021 campaign alongside stars like Megan Thee Stallion and Jacob Elordi. This May, he will also appear in HBO’s reimagining of the Emmy Award-winning series In Treatment opposite Uzo Aduba.  He will also star in Lin Manuel Miranda’s highly anticipated big screen adaptation of In The Heights, which will be released in theaters and available via HBO Max, on June 11th.

The Blessings just keep coming from Anthony Ramos. Stay tuned for more exciting news soon!

Mob Rich Releases Debut Album

MOB RICH RELEASES DEBUT ALBUM WHY NO WHY TODAY FEATURING NEW SINGLE FUNERAL, LISTEN HERE

Alt-pop duo Mob Rich unveils their highly-anticipated debut album Why No Why today available here

The album features 14-tracks, including recently released singles, Everything and Nothing, Hell Yeah and Made To Fall, as well as fan-favorite songs, Yoko Ono, Loser and friends* feat. Bishop Briggs. See the full tracklist below.

On their newest single Funeral, grainy radio feedback gives way to a bright and glitchy beat, as the duo’s vocals bounce over a procession of beats and bass. Mob Rich launches into a kaleidoscopically colorful call-and-response before chanting the chorus, This is the funeral for my dark side. It’s the last time. Yeah it’s goodbye. I will burry you deep, 6 foot under my feet. Ultimately, the band waves goodbye to sadness, burying it six feet under.

Mob Rich says, Our debut album is a collection of conversations we’ve had with each other over the years we’ve been friends. Those conversations found a way of turning into songs and those songs became very dear to us. We have constantly been asking ourselves the ‘why’ questions our whole lives, and we can’t wait for our fans to be able to listen to this album and hopefully ask those questions themselves.

Mob Rich has amassed over 50 million-plus streams to date and received praise from Billboard, Funny Or Die, Noisey, Alt Press, Ones To Watch, and many more, with People recently proclaiming, Mob Rich are creating ‘new anthems for the outcast.’ Following their album release this spring, the band will return to live touring this fall—first up is Life Is Beautiful Music & Art Festival in Las Vegas this September with more festivals and dates to be announced soon.

ABOUT MOB RICH

The music of Mob Rich (formerly Moby Rich) is an invitation. As much as the alt-pop duo’s sound owes to the specific otherworldly chemistry shared by Los Angeles transplants Maxwell Joseph and Connor Pledger, the charming melancholy, adventurous soundscapes, and big hooks they conjure are built for everyone. Mob Rich makes intimate and bold music destined to build a broader community with kindred spirits. These are new anthems for the outcast. The band’s full-length debut, Why No Why, is a collection of conversations in musical form, draped in an effervescent atmosphere. Careening between wry observations and sharply optimistic affirmations, Mob Rich demonstrates a commitment to artistic authenticity on the record, on the stage, and screens big and small. Straightforward hooks, with flourishes of grand theatricality, collide with existential themes and joyful whimsy. As people and musicians, Connor and Maxwell examine humankind’s inherent need for belonging, the seemingly overwhelming obstacles of anxiety and depression, and feelings of ostracization and otherness. The confessional nature of Mob Rich’s songs, combined with darkly comedic self-awareness, is immersive and pure. Substream Magazine observed, there’s both a carefree attitude and some serious life discussions peppered in. Emotional honesty and a keen sense of humor are vital pieces of the Mob Rich puzzle. The duo draws favorable comparisons to Tame Impala and early MGMT. A rhythmic punch like TØP and a swagger akin to Oasis intermingle in Mob Rich. They count Grandson, Broods, and Bishop Briggs among their collaborators and comrades. Already a staple of tastemaker playlists and radio formats with buzzing singles Get High and Yoko Ono, Mob Rich joined the Republic Records roster via the seasoned A&R maverick behind Ariana Grande and The Weeknd. Big bass and bigger drums are almost always part of the soundscape, with rich diversity built over the top of it. It was inevitable that, given the bond forged by Maxwell and Connor, Mob Rich would explore duality. They’re optimistic that the comfort and confidence they’ve found in shared strengths and complementary differences will provoke and inspire. It’s a phenomenon they’ve already witnessed in their short career and hope to expand.

Stephanie Quayle – We Buy Gold

Stephanie Quayle Cements Everlasting Love in Her Latest Release We Buy Gold Available Everywhere Now

Country music singer-songwriter and Big Sky Music Group recording artist, Stephanie Quayle, is celebrating unending love with her latest single We Buy Gold which is available now. The track, written by Park Chisolm, Anna Vaus, and Mark Irwin, and produced by Alex Kline, is a testament to how even though the world could be falling down around us and there are a million reasons to travel through life alone, we still long for that connection that we can carry with us for a lifetime.

Listen to We Buy Gold here!

Growing up, ‘we buy gold’ was a sign in the storefront of my dad’s shop. Buying gold was part of my dad’s work so the title had me from the start. I understood it. Then when I actually heard the song, it really got me – the curiosities of how everything can be falling apart and we still fall in love, pair off, get engaged, married…We still find and choose each other, says Stephanie.

She continues, We recorded this song years back and it just wasn’t quite right. We held onto it because we knew it was special. When Alex [Kline] brought this to life in her ‘Kline’ way, the story and the feel unfolded perfectly. I felt this song on a whole other level when my younger brother, John, got married at our farm during the Pandemic. The message never felt so honest as it did in that moment. Love prevailed when every possible hurdle came to pass. We still buy gold.

We Buy Gold is Stephanie’s third release in 2021 and rounds out a collection of songs that explore finding love and the journey that follows. Her most recently released tracks, By Heart and Wild Frontier, beautifully set the stage for this next single and tell a story seemingly pulled from Stephanie’s own life and romance with her husband.

Stay tuned for even more new music from Stephanie this year!

Tones and I – Won’t Sleep

RELEASES NEW SINGLE & MUSIC VIDEO – WON’T SLEEP AVAILABLE TODAY ON ALL STREAMING PLATFORMS, READYING DEBUT ALBUM FOR RELEASE THIS YEAR

Global superstar Tones And I has released her new single Won’t Sleep which previews her widely anticipated full-length debut expected to arrive this year. Won’t Sleep is available now on all streaming platforms and accompanied by a Tones And I, Nick Kozakis and Liam Kelly directed official music video, which is streaming on Tones And I’s YouTube channel.

Won’t Sleep is an entirely solo composition from Tones And I, reflecting the inimitable idiosyncrasies of her signature style, highlighting her clever lyricism, unpredictable songcraft, and indisputable knack for a hook. Born as a personal antidote to the Lockdown doldrums, Won’t Sleep might just be the perfect soundtrack to reopening the world.

Elaborating on Won’t Sleep, Tones and I shared, I loved writing this song and playing around with the production, the bass, and the drums. It’s a song about me and my friends staying home and partying through lockdown.

Meanwhile, the music video continues what has become a tradition of highly unexpected and unforgettable visuals. Once again, she unveils another side of herself with no shortage of costume changes and unbelievable characters.

Of the video, she added, When coming up with the creative for this film clip, I thought to myself, ‘Picture the most crazy thing ever’ and that’s what I wanted it to be. As with most of my videos, there are lots of prosthetics and different characters, and I had so much fun shooting it!

Won’t Sleep follows on the heels of Tones And I’s recent single Fly Away, which stands out as one of her most personal, poetic, and powerful compositions. Originally released at the tail end of 2020, Fly Away has amassed over 160 million streams with Tones And I delivering performances of the song on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and The Ellen DeGeneres Show. This past fall, she recruited blackbear for the official remix of her 2020 hit Ur So F**kInG cOoL, the single version of which has surpassed 140 million streams and follows Tones And I’s standalone tracks Can’t Be Happy All The Time and Bad Child.

Tones And I’s global smash Dance Monkey was declared the most Shazamed single of all time, and officially became the 3rd most streamed song of all time on Spotify making the track the most streamed song ever by a female artist on the platform. The Dance Monkey official music video has surpassed 1.5 billion views on YouTube, while the track has eclipsed six billion streams globally and earned 4x platinum certification from the RIAA in the US as well as multi-platinum or diamond certification in sixteen other countries. Plus, Dance Monkey hit #4 on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart, making Dance Monkey the first top five Hot 100 hit solely written by a woman in over eight years. In Australia, Dance Monkey holds the all-time record for the most weeks spent at #1 on the ARIA Singles Chart, while in the UK Dance Monkey has made Tones And I the longest running #1 of all time by a female artist on the Official Singles Chart. The New York Times detailed the making of Dance Monkey in their Diary of a Song video series, speaking with Tones And I about her journey from local busker to global star.

Dance Monkey is featured on Tones And I’s RIAA gold certified debut EP The Kids Are Coming which earned her four major wins back home at last year’s ARIA Awards including: Breakthrough Artist, Best Female Artist, Best Pop Release, and Best Independent Release. Following the EP’s release Tones And I showcased her staggering voice across performances of Dance Monkey and standout single Never Seen The Rain, appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, The Voice, The Ellen DeGeneres Show and The Today Show.

Originally from Australia’s Mornington Peninsula, Tones And I traveled to Byron Bay in early 2018 to take a chance at busking. On the first day she had crowds spilling onto the street.&#a0;Tones quit her retail job and decided to make Byron her new home where she lived out of her van for a year, honing her songwriting and busking every weekend. A year later, she had one of the biggest songs in the world with her global smash Dance Monkey.

Bendigo Fletcher Announces Debut Album

BENDIGO FLETCHER ANNOUNCES DEBUT ALBUM FITS OF LAUGHTER

AVAILABLE AUGUST 13 ON ELEKTRA RECORDS, PREORDER HERE. BAND SHARES NEW SINGLE AND VIDEO SUGAR IN THE CREEK, LISTEN AND WATCH HERE

Louisville, KY’s Bendigo Fletcher have announced they will release their debut studio album Fits of Laughter on August 13, 2021 via Elektra Records. The album is available for pre-order starting today here. Merch bundles and limited edition colored vinyl are available exclusively through the band’s online store here.

Bendigo Fletcher has also released the album’s groove-heavy opening track Sugar in the Creek. The song is available to stream and download now here. Earlier today, Flood Magazine premiered an accompanying animated music video for the song. Watch it here.

On Fits of Laughter, frontman Ryan Anderson crafts the patchwork poetry of his lyrics by serenely observing the world around him. When matched with the band’s gorgeously jangly collision of country and folk-rock and dreamy psychedelia, the result is story-songs graced with raw humanity, wildly offbeat humor, and a transcendent sense of wonder. For help in forging the album’s ragged elegance, Bendigo Fletcher worked with producer Ken Coomer (original drummer for Wilco and Uncle Tupelo), laying down the album in nine frenetic days. The album bears an undeniable immediacy, thanks in part to the band’s decision to limit the tracklist to eight essential songs (a move largely inspired by extraordinarily lean and iconic albums like Television’s Marquee Moon).

Referring to Fits of Laughter as a coming-of-age album, Anderson also examines a more internal conflict throughout the songs, including his choice to abandon his medical-school aspirations in favor of pursuing a career in music. The title’s really about the spectrum of emotions I’ve felt on the way to finding what makes me feel like I’m living truthfully, rather than holding onto what I think other people’s expectations are of me, Anderson shares. It’s a phrase that bridges all of those emotions, everything from joy to hysteria.

Bendigo Fletcher recently announced their Elektra Records signing in an exclusive interview with American Songwriter. The band previewed Fits of Laughter with the March release of lead single Evergreen. Watch them perform the track live from Louisville, KY’s Blackacre Farm here.

Fits of Laughter follows a trio of independent EPs that quietly amassed millions of streams and earned praise from PopMatters, Atwood Magazine, and more. Converting audiences to fans on the road, Bendigo Fletcher has supported Mt. Joy, Nathaniel Rateliff, Rayland Baxter, Caamp, and Hiss Golden Messenger on tour. Bendigo Fletcher is: Ryan Anderson (lead vocals, guitar, banjo) – Andrew Shupert (backing vocals, lead guitar) – Evan Wagner (backing vocals, keys, guitar, auxiliary percussion) – Conner Powell (bass) – Chris Weis (drums).

Wonderworks New Exhibit Good Vibrations

Good Vibrations – WonderWorks Orlando New Exhibit on Earthquakes Named by Teachers during Teacher Appreciation Month

WonderWorks Orlando has an array of exhibits that help educate people about science. And it’s latest exhibit on earthquakes called Good Vibrations, opens May 28th. Good Vibrations will spotlight Tuckaleechee Caverns, and how they document seismic activity around the world. The new exhibit was a topic request from educators, so it seemed appropriate that they also name the exhibit.  Teachers are invited to see this exhibit for free during WonderWorks Teacher Appreciation Month celebration.

This is a fascinating new exhibit about earthquakes and all types of tectonic movement around the globe, says Brian Wayne, general manager of WonderWorks Orlando. It’s a great time for teachers to stop in and check it out and enjoy some time exploring all we have to offer.

The Tuckaleechee Caverns are located deep under the Smoky Mountains, in Townsend, Tenn. People can visit the caverns, but they also play an important role in the safety of our country. They have the most sensitive seismic station on Earth, accurately and precisely tracking tectonic movement all around the planet. The information collected includes activity from earthquakes and even when nuclear weapons are being tested.

Once the information is collected, it is quickly transmitted directly to the Department of Defense; Geneva, Switzerland; and Vienna, Austria. The information is obtained and shared so quickly that it’s passed on within 300ths of a millisecond. Visitors will learn about the important natural wonder that gathers so much information around the world.

Good Vibrations meets educational standards for learning about earthquakes and seismic activity. As a way to celebrate teachers and support staff during Teacher Appreciation Month, both teachers and support staff will receive free admission during May 2021 by showing a valid school ID. Additionally, up to four of their accompanying guests will receive 50% off admission.

“We are excited to invite teachers, support staff, and their families this month, as well as others, to check out the new Earthquake exhibit,” added Wayne. “This exhibit will surprise you and make you want to plan a trip to the Tuckaleechee Caverns.”

Additional on-site and community programs include the WonderWorks WonderKids event, virtual learning labs, FLO-Art Florida Youth Art Gallery, science fair partnerships, online science information and worksheets and a homeschool program. WonderWorks Orlando also offers various STEM activities, including virtual learning labs, on-site exhibits, activities and more. New Studies Shows Polywork Trend

Millennials And Gen Z Choose ‘Polywork’ For More Exciting Lives, Half Of 21 To 40 Year-Olds Say They Do Five Different Types Of Work, ‘Excitement’ More Important Than Money For Today’s Professionals

New research out today reveals that nearly half of young professionals (47 percent) consider themselves people who ‘polywork’ doing an average of five different types of work – with one in ten (11 percent) saying they currently do more than ten types of professional work at the same time.

The majority of 21 to 40 year-old professionals (81 percent) say the pandemic has changed their attitude towards work forever with 45 percent saying they would not consider doing one single type of work for life, but would choose to polywork instead. Three quarters of all young professionals (72 percent) say virtual ways of working have opened up more work possibilities in the last 12 months compared to previous years.

Polywork, a new professional social network that has been created for people who do more than one type of work and cannot be defined by a single job title, asked over 1,000 US professionals about how they work and their attitudes towards modern working.

Over half of all 21 to 40 year-olds (55 percent) said an ‘exciting’ professional life is more important to them than money with 62 percent saying the opportunity to learn more skills, more quickly through different types of work is more rewarding than professional ‘security’.

A Word from Peter Johnston, the founder of Polywork

There is a new generation of professionals who do more than one type of work both in their regular job and outside of it, and they no longer feel a single job title reflects what they do or who they are. During the pandemic people have re-evaluated what they want to do, which in turn has accelerated the trend of polywork, using technology to connect with different and varied opportunities, whatever and wherever they may be. We do not see this trend disappearing, not least because Gen Z and Millennials see a variety of work as a way to achieve a more exciting life.

Meet The People Who Polywork

Cassidy Williams, living in Chicago, IL, USA, does more than five different types of professional work across multiple countries including software engineering, public speaking, writing, podcasting, investing, advising, and mentoring. She comments, Work is something that takes up such a huge part of my life, so doing different types of work keeps it more interesting and exciting. I love that I can work with people across the world to do fun things like design mechanical keyboards or more serious things like raise money for good causes. With technology being such an embedded part of our lives, I see this kind of work style being more and more common. People have the ability now more than ever to collaborate, create and just do things that don’t fall into one bucket. We’re past the age of being just one type of worker.

Richard Fearn, living in London UK, has three different types of work on the go at once: producing a musical; managing his technology investments; and running a non-profit company. He comments, I’ve never liked the idea of just doing the same thing every day. I have multiple interests that I’m passionate about and they’ve naturally become different streams of income for me. Modern working attitudes and flexible technology allows my generation to juggle a multitude of things in a way we’ve never been able to before.

Harshest Critic Allison Ponthier artist courtesy of Interscope Records for use by 360 Magazine

Allison Ponthier – Harshest Critic

BUDDING SINGER-SONGWRITER ALLISON PONTHIER IS HER OWN HARSHEST CRITIC. WATCH THE CAPTIVATING VIDEO HERE. PONTHIER JOINS LORD HURON’S LONG LOST TOUR FOR SELECT DATES

Today, 25-year-old Allison Ponthier has released Harshest Critic, the dreamy, scars-and-all eagerly anticipated follow up to her debut single Cowboy. Harshest Critic is available here via Interscope Records.

Written by Ponthier and collaborator Adam Melchor, Harshest Critic uses the relationship between performer and her audience as the lens through which the Texas native turned New York transplant can tackle her own insecurities. I’m terrified / Of the way I look when it’s through strangers’ eyes / Wish I had a way to peek inside their minds / But it wouldn’t fix the problems I see through mine, she sings over gauzy guitars and a steady drumbeat, mirroring the thumping of her heart as her thoughts unspool. The song further contextualizes Allison’s complicated journey from a young teen growing up in the bible belt and struggling with her sexuality. Harshest Critic is yet another feather in the cap of an artist on the verge of stardom.

I wrote ‘Harshest Critic’ around the time when labels were knocking on my door, and I kept wondering what it would feel like when other people were judging me and my work, says Ponthier of the song. It ended up being a song about how, when you’re an artist, everything feels like life or death. But in reality, it’s your happiness and who you are as a person that really matter. You might as well enjoy the ride, because no one’s ever going to be as hard on you as you are.

Directed by the visionary Jordan Bahat, who also helmed Ponthier’s Cowboy music video, the Harshest Critic video follows the singer-songwriter as she wears several hats. Tuning into a late-night show from a neon-soaked bedroom, she watches its host, performer, and cameraman all unpack their insecurities in front of a live studio audience. In every way an aesthetic fantasy, Harshest Critic peels back yet another layer to Ponthier’s full package, a fully realized vision playing out before our lucky eyes.

Harshest Critic follows I Lied, Ponthier’s recent heartbreakingly dreamy duet with Lord Huron, as well as her debut single Cowboy. The debut signaled the arrival of a fully baked new talent with the voice, the lyrics, and the vision of an artist twice her age. Cowboy, immediately captures and captivates as both a personal and professional coming-out story, Billboard says. A Phoebe Bridgers-style confessional wrapped up in the country-pop polish of Kacey Musgraves, declared The Guardian, while FADER called the track a bright slice of queer country-pop.

Ponthier joins Lord Huron on select dates for the Long Lost Tour which kicks off September 9th in Philadelphia and hits a variety of outdoor venues in New York City, Los Angeles, Boston, Seattle, Portland and other markets across the country. Check out the full itinerary here

About The String Cheese Incident

The past three decades have written a story packed full of surreal experiences, epic moments, groundbreaking involvement and huge accomplishments. The String Cheese Incident has been recognized for their commitment to musical creativity and integrity, for their community spirit, philanthropic endeavors, and for their innovative approach to the business of music.

When The String Cheese Incident’s growth first started gaining momentum in the 1990s, as the Internet was just beginning to take hold and the major-label business model was failing, the band decided to make music on their own terms.

Since then, The String Cheese Incident has gone on to carve out a completely unique approach to the business of music; they are truly pioneers of a new way of making a band. With the Internet as their tool, SCI was among the first artists to disseminate information online, such as tour dates, release information, and other news, to their growing fan base. Rather than doing business on such terms as the bottom line, SCI put their music and their fans first, opening companies of their own, including a ticketing company, a merchandise company and a fan travel agency, to best serve their community. The band’s record label, SCI Fidelity Records, has always operated under the same ideals. Even early on, SCI Fidelity embraced downloadable music and file sharing, delivering SCI’s On The Road series, where every show the band plays is made available for download on the Internet. Whether they realized it at the time or not, The String Cheese Incident was inventing grassroots band development. Today, literally hundreds of bands are using some version of this same approach to build their brand.

The String Cheese Incident’s commitment goes well beyond their immediate community, and even beyond the music community as a whole. Early on, the band took a serious interest in giving back to the communities that they visited, and they were among the first performers to encourage Green shows and tours. SCI’s support has helped give rise to such not-for-profit organizations as Conscious Alliance and HeadCount. All the while, The String Cheese Incident has stayed committed to music as a creative endeavor, not just in their recordings but also in their live performances. The list of SCI’s special guests and collaborators is long and diverse. Their annual events such as Electric Forest and Hulaween, and holiday shows such as New Year’s Eve, have helped redefine the concert experience and have garnered the band a reputation as live music vibe innovators.
