The Evolution of Luxury: Why Authentic Designer Bags Outlast Fast Fashion

Fashion moves at a relentless pace, with social media trends surfacing and fading within weeks. Yet amidst this rapid cycle of disposable style, a distinct shift is taking place toward lasting value and deliberate wardrobing. Discriminating shoppers increasingly turn toward timeless leather goods that offer history, structural integrity, and long term utility. Purchasing high end accessories allows individuals to build a collection grounded in permanent quality rather than seasonal hype.

This transition reflects a growing appreciation for true artisanal skill. Rather than purchasing multiple low quality accessories each season, consumers choose to acquire pieces designed to last for decades. The enduring appeal of top tier fashion lies in its ability to transcend seasonal aesthetics, offering a sense of personal expression and stability that mass produced items cannot replicate.

The Enduring Value of Heritage and Craftsmanship

At the heart of every legendary handbag is an unwavering dedication to traditional craftsmanship. The finest European fashion houses have spent generations refining their techniques, employing master artisans who dedicate hours to perfecting a single piece. Every seam, edge coat, and stitch represents decades of institutional knowledge.

When examining verified pre-owned designer handbags, the distinction in construction becomes immediately obvious. Premium materials such as supple lambskin, durable grained calfskin, and textured exotic leathers age gracefully, developing a rich patina over time rather than showing structural breakdown. Solid metal hardware, precision stitching, and meticulous lining construction ensure that these pieces remain functional through years of daily use. Acquiring authentic designer bags means owning a piece of structural artistry built to withstand time.

8 Iconic Silhouettes That Define Generations

Certain handbag designs have achieved legendary status, becoming cultural symbols that remain relevant across decades. Understanding these key silhouettes helps explain why specific models continue to captivate collectors worldwide.

  • Chanel Classic Flap: Distinguished by signature diamond quilting, woven leather and chain straps, and the unmistakable double lock closure. This piece balances classic sophistication with modern versatility.
  • Louis Vuitton Speedy: Crafted using historic coated canvas and untreated leather trims, offering unmatched durability for travel and everyday routines.
  • Gucci Jackie: Defined by archival hardware and curved profiles, blending Italian heritage with contemporary flair.
  • Hermès Birkin: Recognized globally for its structured trapezoidal shape, turn lock closure, and rare leather options. This creation represents the pinnacle of luxury hand crafting.
  • Chanel Boy Bag: Features modern rectangular proportions and chunky hardware, providing an edgy alternative to traditional flap styles.
  • Louis Vuitton Neverfull: A practical tote design engineered to hold daily essentials while maintaining structural form.
  • Gucci Bamboo 1947: Famous for its handcrafted wooden handle, shaped using heat and traditional molding techniques.
  • Hermès Kelly: A formal, single handle design originally created as a saddle holder that evolved into an emblem of high fashion elegance.

These hallmark designs serve as anchor points in modern closets, easily transitioning from professional environments to evening occasions.

The Growth of Authenticated Luxury Resale

The secondary market for luxury goods has evolved into a structured, highly reliable ecosystem. Buyers no longer rely on unverified peer to peer sales. Professional resale platforms provide thorough inspection processes that give customers complete clarity before purchasing authentic designer bags for their collection.

Expert authentication protects buyers from increasingly convincing imitations. Multi point inspection processes evaluate key technical markers to confirm legitimacy:

  • Exact stitch counts, thread tension, and seam spacing matching house standards
  • Hardware weight, stamping typography, serial numbering, and brand logo placement
  • Material feel, grain structure, lining textures, and leather scent profiles
  • Date codes, microchips, hologram stickers, and original documentation

By verifying these crucial details, professional curators ensure that buyers receive genuine items that maintain their market value.

Evaluating Condition, Rarity, and Provenance

Determining the value of pre-owned luxury items requires a careful assessment of several core factors. Condition plays a primary role, with items classified across precise categories ranging from pristine condition to gently carried. Clean interiors, structured silhouettes, and minimal hardware scratching significantly enhance overall appeal.

Rarity and provenance also dictate long term desirability. Limited edition runs, discontinued colorways, vintage production years, and special hardware combinations command strong interest among fashion enthusiasts. Integrating authentic designer bags into a wardrobe involves evaluating how these specific factors contribute to an item’s overall longevity and historical significance.

Supporting Circular Luxury Consumption

The movement toward pre-owned fashion aligns directly with modern sustainability goals. Extending the lifecycle of high quality goods reduces textile waste and decreases the demand for raw material extraction. High end leather goods are uniquely suited for this circular model because their superior materials and construction allow them to pass through multiple owners without losing structural integrity.

Participating in the resale ecosystem allows consumers to enjoy fashion responsibly. By choosing curated pre-owned items, shoppers support a sustainable retail model that values longevity over constant production.

How Collectors Distinguish Enduring Designs From Short Lived Trends

Seasoned collectors use specific criteria when evaluating potential additions to their wardrobes. Rather than following momentary trends, they focus on foundational design elements that guarantee long term relevance:

  • Clean, balanced proportions that complement various silhouettes and outfits
  • Neutral or classic color palettes such as black, taupe, navy, and rich tan
  • Versatile carrying options, including adjustable straps and sturdy top handles
  • Durable outer materials capable of maintaining structure over years of use

By prioritizing these elements, buyers construct versatile wardrobes centered around authentic designer bags that remain stylish season after season.

A Grounded Approach to Personal Investment

The transition toward pre-owned luxury reflects a thoughtful approach to personal style and consumption. Investing in well crafted accessories allows fashion enthusiasts to appreciate historic artistry while making practical, sustainable choices. Choosing timeless silhouettes backed by professional authentication ensures that every addition to a collection offers lasting elegance, utility, and value for years to come.

New Jersey and New York IT service providers via 360 MAGAZINE.

Best 3 Managed IT Providers In New Jersey

For businesses across New Jersey, reliable IT infrastructure is no longer a luxury. Instead, it’s not an essential part of staying productive, secure, and competitive. The right managed IT provider can take the burden off of your internal team on the technology side of things, while also helping to protect your systems, your data, and business operations. With so many providers serving companies throughout the state, choosing the right partner can be a challenge.

But, that’s where we come in. In this article, we’re going to be taking a look at some of the top managed IT providers in New Jersey that have stood out for their services, their reputation, and their ability to provide for the technological needs of companies. So, if you would like to find out more about what these companies are and how they can help you, feel free to continue reading.

Ascendant Technologies

Ascendant Technologies is a managed IT services provider based in New Jersey, offering comprehensive technology support for businesses across the tri-state area. The company is able to provide 24/7 remote and on site support, managed cybersecurity, desktop and server management, network management, and vendor and software license management. On top of that, they also have a number of other services to offer their clients.

We do have to say that one of the things that sticks out the most about this company is their focus on responsive US based support. The company says that it has an average response time of 43 seconds, and that it has helped over a million support tickets in their 35 years on the market. It’s also true that they are strong in areas such as managed detection and response, phishing protection, and more.

They are also not just a help desk, they are a partner to businesses. With their list of services, they are able to be beneficial to any company that hires them, improving efficiency and security while reducing the need for a large in-house IT team for your company.

Pros:

  • A huge bonus for those that need help outside of working hours is that they offer their services 24/7 – when you need them, they are there
  • They have a really strong cybersecurity offering, with a range of services falling under this branch
  • They also have a number of services on offer overall, meaning that companies are able to get what they need from the same place
  • They have over 35 years experience in the business, and they have managed to help countless people across a number of industries in that time

Cons:

  • Pricing is not publicly listed which means that companies are going to need to request a quote before they can get the help they need
  • Smaller businesses may find that this service offers way more than they need and that a smaller business may be more suitable for them
  • It’s also worth fact checking claims on the website as a lot of them are company reported

Monmouth Cyber

Monmouth Cyber is a New Jersey based managed IT provider mainly focused on small and mid sized businesses. The company tends to focus on helping businesses reduce downtime, strengthen their cybersecurity, and keep their technology infrastructure running reliably through ongoing managed IT support.

Their managed IT services include things like 24/7 system monitoring, help desk support, patch and update management, managed backups, as well as more. The point is that they offer a lot of solutions in the same place, which makes it convenient for companies who need more than just one thing. They also provide remote and mobile support for businesses with remote working employees.

One thing that we want to highlight for Monmouth Cyber is that they have a strong focus on cybersecurity and this is one of the areas where they excel on top of their managed IT services. They excel in both of these areas, with the goal of keeping everything moving seamlessly on a day to day basis.

Of course, we have to point out that this company also published their starting prices for their managed IT packages, which is a huge bonus.

Pros:

  • The company covers so many things across IT services that they are a comprehensive managed IT services provider
  • They are fantastic when it comes to cybersecurity which is essential for businesses
  • Baseline pricing is available which gives companies a good idea of the minimum they are going to need to pay
  • They have more than 20 years of experience so they have had a lot of time to work on their offerings

Cons:

  • They tend to work with small and medium sized businesses, so larger enterprises might find that their packages are not the best fit
  • Higher tier plans can become quite expensive quite fast, which isn’t ideal for smaller businesses on a tight budget
  • There is also very little by way of customization of the technology stack which some companies might not find ideal

Powersolution

Having been on the market since 1996, Powersolutions has been supporting small and mid sized businesses to keep their IT moving forward in the best possible way. Their managed IT offering is designed to give businesses access to a team of IT professionals without the challenge of trying to manage a large in-house IT department. They offer a lot of services, mostly similar to the ones that we have seen before in this article, but they also offer co-managed solutions which allows businesses with an internal IT department to supplement their existing team with additional support.

They have a 98% customer satisfaction rate, and their response time is pretty quick being within around 10 minutes.

Pros:

  • They have been on the market a long time and know exactly what they are doing
  • They offer a broad range of IT services to make things easier for clients
  • Co-managed IT option for those with an internal IT department
  • Local NEw Jersey support

Cons:

  • Pricing is customized and customers will need to request a quote to know how much their service is going to be
  • Their local focus might not suit every business
  • They are primarily aimed at small and medium sized businesses

Gunther Werks Reveals the GXR-Evo The Ultimate Analog Driving Experience at Montery Car Week via 360 MAGAZINE.

Gunther Werks Reveals the GXR-Evo

The Ultimate Analog Driving Experience

Gunther Werks has unveiled GXR-Evo, the fastest naturally aspirated car in the marque’s storied history. Limited to 15 units globally, GXR-Evo is a celebration of the raw, the ultimate analog driving experience taken beyond the limit. The result is a machine that embodies driving at its most pure, where the visceral connection between man and machine is central to the experience. The GXR-Evo represents the next evolution of the company’s feted attention to detail, transforming the iconic 993-generation platform into a purpose-built weapon engineered with a singular objective: to go faster.

“The GXR-Evo represents the purest interpretation of everything Gunther Werks stands for,” said Peter Nam, CEO and founder of Gunther Werks. “Every component has been designed with purpose, every surface shaped by function and every decision made to elevate the driving experience. This is a no compromise racing thoroughbred engineered to attack every apex with absolute precision. All while preserving the analog soul and legacy that is ingrained in the DNA of all Gunther Werks cars.”

Forged through nine years of relentless engineering development and motorsport-driven innovation. Every unnecessary gram has been removed, and every component scrutinized, optimized. Here function dictates form and every detail serves a purpose. The Evo sheds 210lbs over the Coupe and tips the scales at a dry weight of just 2,386 lbs. Constructed around a full carbon-fiber body finished in an exquisite 12k 2×2 carbon-fiber weave, the GXR-Evo has been optimized to generate maximum aerodynamic efficiency while minimizing weight. The aggressive front splitter and canards work in concert with integrated tunnels that flow air out the vented front fenders to relieve pressure and generate significant front-end downforce. At the rear, a newly engineered high-downforce wing with sculpted carbon-fiber endplates completes the aerodynamic package the rear window has been deleted and replaced with an integrated shark-fin stability element, while carbon-fiber quarter windows allow air to flow into the engine.

Powering the GXR-Evo is a naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six co-developed with the renowned air-cooled specialists at Rothsport Racing. Producing 455 horsepower, the four-cam twin-valve engine revs to nearly 9,000 rpm. It delivers power through a comprehensively re-engineered Getrag G50 six-speed manual transmission, preserving the mechanical engagement that defines every Gunther Werks commission. A specialized slide-valve throttle-body system replaces conventional butterfly valves, eliminating airflow obstruction within the intake tract to maximize volumetric efficiency. The result is razor-sharp throttle response and immediate power delivery, reinforcing the engine’s naturally aspirated character.

A bespoke double-wishbone front suspension is paired with JRZ three-way adjustable remote-reservoir dampers, while Brembo Pista race brakes, motorsport-grade ABS, lightweight magnesium center-lock wheels and a competition-level tire pressure monitoring system provide confidence under the most demanding conditions. Combined with a raw straight-pipe exhaust system and a curb weight of just under 2,400 pounds, the GXR-Evo delivers an exceptional power-to-weight ratio and an intensely visceral driving experience.

The interior has been stripped to its essential purpose of maximizing driver performance. A Racetech carbon-Kevlar racing seat secured by a Schroth six-point harness anchors the driver safely within an eight-point roll cage. Ahead of the driver sits a fully configurable Motec digital display with integrated lap timing and race diagnostics, paired with an all-new quick-release steering wheel. Additional race-derived equipment includes a built-in pneumatic air-jack system, a digital rearview mirror with an integrated backup camera, an OMP electronic fire-suppression system and a driver helmet cooling system engineered to maintain comfort during extended track sessions. GXR-Evo also serves as the launching point for a new strategic partnership between Gunther Werks and OPTIMA Batteries. The partnership will see OPTIMA Batteries serve as the exclusive provider of lithium batteries for future Gunther Werks projects.

As the final expression of exclusivity, each of the 15 GXR-Evo owners will receive a bespoke racing simulator designed in collaboration with MYSIM. Each unit is individually commissioned and numbered, hand-welded from 6061-T6 aluminum and clad in carbon-fiber panels, mirroring the car’s construction. The steering wheel is engineered for simulator use while matching the one in GXR-Evo, so the first input a driver makes is a familiar one. Precisely configured to mirror the dynamics of their individual vehicle, the simulator allows owners to refine their skills in the virtual world before taking to the circuit.

The GXR-Evo is an exercise in engineering created to bridge the gap between road legality and motorsport capability. Nearly every aspect of the vehicle has been remastered to deliver uncompromising circuit performance. With its fusion of advanced engineering, unbridled performance, lightweight construction and uncompromising analog engagement, the GXR-Evo stands as the definitive track-focused evolution of the air-cooled 911 silhouette and the most extreme expression of Gunther Werks’ philosophy ever created.

2026 Maserati Grecale Trofeo via 360 MAGAZINE.

2026 Maserati Grecale Trofeo

Robert Anthony Sovinsky was an incredibly devoted father, close friend, and gentle brother, harboring great potential. An extraordinary human, he inspired everyone close to him to feel invincible. One of the rare few I’ve met who could take on any challenge and excel with outstanding proficiency. Ultimately, his upbringing was influenced by parents with poise and elegance. Although his soul has departed, his spirit will remain eternally in our hearts.’Vaughn Lowery

Stellantis may be experiencing a slight dip in stocks, however, Maserati has struck gold with the Grecale Trofeo. This 3.0-liter turbocharged Nettuno V6 launches the car from 0 to 60 mph in 3.6 seconds, boasting 523 horsepower and 457 lb-ft of torque. With a classic luxurious silhouette, it’s one of the most divine compact SUVs within its segment that boasts a unique DNA that is unparalleled.

Design

Its aerodynamic curves reveal a sculpted handsome physique. With a bold front facade integrated with stylish LED lights, bodacious wheel wells, sitting on 21-inch staggered wheels. With a large grille, long & low-looking, the Trofeo boasts a sportier look than your average SUV.

At a quick glance, it’s an understated carriage that seats four conformably. Throughout the cabin, witness metallic detailing against the leather and carbon and the classic analog Maserati clock in the center of the dash. It’s Italian craftsmanship at its finest.

Competitors

The Grecale Trofeo goes head-to-head with its counterparts like the Porsche Macan GTS, BMW X3, and Infiniti QX60. The Macan has similar handling, while the X3 leans more aggressive. What can’t be beat is Maserati’s unique V6, insane horsepower, luxury, and its detail as an Italian showstopper.

Performance

This automobile doesn’t only look fast, it delivers the numbers to back it up. The SUV goes from 0–60 mph in a remarkable 3.6 seconds, producing the kind of urgency you’d expect from something far lower to the ground.

But straight-line speed is only part of the story. Under heavy braking, the Trofeo remains composed, settling with confidence. Through corners, its performance-tuned suspension and all-wheel-drive system keep the chassis planted, while the steering responds with a precision that makes it feel considerably more athletic than its proportions suggest.

One second you think you know the Trofeo, and then it can shapeshift… but in the best way. It can be relaxed and refined when the road calls for it, yet comes alive when you push harder. That duality is ultimately its greatest strength. You get a racer from a luxury SUV without ever losing that Maserati feel.

Technology

The 12.3-inch primary central touchscreen and 8.8-inch climate touchscreen below light up the interior, seamlessly placed in the dash. A third heads-up display screen is placed directly in front of the driver, making everyday driving more convenient. A feature to note is that the lane assist can be turned off when setting up your drive profile for drivers to choose from the beginning. The Sonus faber high-fidelity audio system will rock your ride, including twenty-one individual speakers, focusing on clarity and balance.

Conclusion

It may not be the top performer in its class, nor does it try to be. Instead, the Maserati Grecale Trofeo appeals to those who want their vehicle to feel personal, expressive, and truly different. For the aesthetic-conscious consumer, few SUVs deliver the same combination of presence, craftsmanship, exclusivity, and genuine performance. The Maserati Grecale Trofeo isn’t simply transportation. It’s an extension of taste, personality, and an appreciation for a real auto lover.

Top 5 Men's Watch Trends for 2026 via 360 MAGAZINE.

Top 5 Men’s Watch Trends for 2026

The watch industry keeps evolving, and 2026 is shaping up to be an interesting year for men’s timepieces. Whether you’re looking to add to your collection or buy your first serious watch, these trends are worth paying attention to. Here’s what’s actually gaining traction this year.

1. Bigger Case Sizes Making a Comeback

For years, smaller was better when it came to watch cases. Understated 36mm and 38mm watches dominated wrists everywhere. That’s changing.

The trend now leans toward more substantial sizing—44mm to 48mm cases that make a bold presence on the wrist. This shift makes sense for several reasons. Larger men’s watches read better as statement pieces; they command attention at first glance, and they feel more substantial and purposeful on the wrist.

Contemporary and sport-influenced designs are partly driving this. As brands push into tool-watch and outdoor categories and release new oversized flagship models, they’re leaning into generous dimensions. The result is watches that feel less like understated accessories and more like confident everyday anchors.

This doesn’t mean smaller watches are disappearing, but the automatic assumption that restraint equals sophistication is fading. Presence matters more than proportion.

2. Bronze and Unconventional Materials

Stainless steel remains the standard, but there’s growing interest in alternative materials that develop character over time.

Bronze watches have gained serious momentum. The material develops a unique patina as it oxidizes, meaning each watch ages differently based on how and where it’s worn. Some people love this living finish that makes their watch genuinely one-of-a-kind. Others prefer the consistency of steel. Either way, bronze has moved from niche curiosity to a legitimate trend.

Titanium is also seeing increased adoption. It’s lighter than steel, hypoallergenic, and highly scratch-resistant. For people who find heavier watches uncomfortable during long wear, titanium offers a practical alternative without sacrificing durability.

Ceramic cases, carbon fiber elements, and even wood accents are appearing more frequently. The common thread is adding personality and differentiation in a market where many watches can feel interchangeable.

3. Integrated Bracelet Designs

The integrated bracelet look—where the bracelet flows seamlessly into the case without traditional lugs—has exploded in popularity.

This design approach creates a cohesive aesthetic where the watch and bracelet form a unified piece rather than separate components. Brands at every price level are introducing integrated bracelet models, from affordable options to high-end luxury pieces.

Part of the appeal is visual. The continuous flow from case to bracelet creates clean lines and a modern look. But there’s a practical consideration too—integrated bracelets typically sit flatter and more comfortably on the wrist than traditional lug-and-strap configurations.

The downside is less flexibility. You’re committed to the bracelet design, whereas traditional lugs let you swap straps easily. For buyers who like changing looks with different straps, this trend might not appeal. For those who prefer a signature aesthetic, integrated bracelets deliver.

4. Tourbillon Watches Becoming More Accessible

Tourbillon movements have traditionally been the domain of ultra-luxury watches. These complicated mechanisms usually appear in watches costing $20,000 and up, sometimes much more.

That’s starting to change as more brands introduce affordable tourbillon options. The complication itself remains impressive to watch in action, especially on models with open dials or exhibition casebacks where you can see the cage rotating.

Here’s the practical consideration: if you’re interested in owning a tourbillon but don’t want to spend luxury car money, you’ll need to look for affordable options first to see if the style actually matches your preferences. The visible movement and skeleton dial designs that often accompany tourbillons aren’t for everyone—some people love the mechanical exhibition, others find it too busy.

Brands like Tufina Watches offer some affordable tourbillons for men as well as other mechanical and automatic watches, making these complications accessible without the typical five-figure price tags.

It’s worth exploring these entry-level options before committing to expensive pieces, especially since tourbillon designs tend to be quite distinctive and not universally appealing.

The increased availability means more people can experience these fascinating movements firsthand rather than just seeing them behind jewelry store glass.

5. Green Dials Maintaining Momentum

Green watch dials have been trending for a few years now, and 2026 shows no signs of that slowing down.

What started with a few standout models from major brands has expanded across the industry. You’ll find green dials on dress watches, dive watches, field watches, and everything in between. The shade ranges from deep forest green to lighter olive tones to vibrant emerald.

Why the staying power? Green offers visual interest without the boldness of colors like orange or yellow. It pairs well with both casual and formal wear. Different lighting conditions can make the same green dial appear different shades, adding depth that plain black or white dials lack.

The trend has reached the point where green is no longer considered unconventional or risky. It’s become a legitimate neutral alternative to traditional dial colors, which suggests it’s here to stay rather than just a temporary fashion moment.

What These Trends Mean for Buyers

Trends shouldn’t dictate purchases, but they do indicate where the market is heading and what options are available. None of these trends is a universal improvement—they’re just different directions the industry is exploring. Whether any of them matter for your next watch purchase depends entirely on your preferences, budget, and what you actually want to wear.

The good news is that 2026 offers more variety than ever. Whatever your style or price range, there are interesting options worth considering beyond the standard stainless steel sports watch with a black dial that’s dominated for years.

Pay attention to what genuinely appeals to you rather than chasing trends for their own sake. The best watch is still the one you’ll actually want to wear, regardless of what’s currently popular.

When Kylie Met Chanel, the Gulf Joined the Queue

A reunion shot by a music-video auteur, a softer Chanel silhouette, and a quiet shift in how women from Dubai to Riyadh carry their luxury.

Twenty-five years after Kylie Minogue wandered through a kaleidoscope of cloned strangers in the video for “Come Into My World,” she stepped back in front of the same director’s camera. Michel Gondry, the French film-maker who built that dizzying single-take fantasy in 2002, returned to shoot Chanel’s latest handbag campaign, with Margot Robbie sharing the frame. The bag at the heart of all that pop nostalgia is the Chanel 25, and it has quietly become the piece every well-dressed woman in the region seems to be chasing.

The number is no riddle. It marks the year the bag reached stores, after a debut on the Fall-Winter 2024/25 runway. What sets it apart is how relaxed it feels. For decades Chanel taught us that a serious handbag stood to attention, all crisp corners and a clasp that snapped shut like a verdict. The 25 throws out that posture. It slouches. The quilting sits flatter and more modern than the old diamonds, and the chain runs heavier. A leather-laced drawstring tipped with the double C cinches the top, and two slim side pockets swallow a phone without fuss.

It arrives in a spread of sizes, from a palm-sized Mini up to a generous Large, with a backpack for anyone who wants one. The base keeps its shape without turning the thing into a briefcase, and the bag is light enough that you forget you are carrying it. That mix of ease and pedigree is exactly what has helped it travel so far so fast.

Part of the pull is timing. Women are dressing with less ceremony now, reaching for pieces that move with them rather than dictate the day, and a bag that slides from a morning meeting to a late dinner without missing a beat suits the way life actually runs. There is a whiff of the early 2000s in that slouch, the same era Gondry was filming the first time around, and the loop of past and present is part of the charm. It photographs well too, which in a region fluent in the language of social feeds is never beside the point.

Nowhere has the welcome been warmer than across the Gulf. Chanel has long held a particular grip on shoppers in Dubai, Riyadh, Doha and Kuwait City, where a handbag is rarely an afterthought. Here it works as shorthand, read across a room before a word is exchanged. The 25 answers the brief almost too neatly, built for the heat and for a social calendar that does not slow down. Demand has run ahead of what the boutiques can keep on the shelf, which is one reason the regional resale scene has grown so assured. Mad Kicks carrying luxury sneakers and designer bags across the UAE and GCC have turned into a genuine first stop for buyers who would rather skip the waiting list. The range of Chanel handbags now circulating through that market would have been hard to imagine a few seasons ago.

The 25 may be the headline act, yet it sits inside a far broader appetite. The region’s hunger for women’s luxury bags, both new and pre-loved, has matured into something serious, with design-conscious collectors trading and authenticating at a level once reserved for fine watches. Provenance and condition now carry real weight, and a buyer who knows what to look for can move quickly when the right piece surfaces. A bag like the 25 enters that world already coveted, and the talk it generates is half the appeal.

Chanel, for its part, is in no hurry to let it cool. The 25 has surfaced in every major collection since launch, each season bringing fresh leathers, denim, suede and a parade of colours that runs from quiet beige to a high-shine metallic. The Mini takes its own bow in the Minogue campaign, a reminder that the house knows precisely which thread to pull.

What lingers is the mood, not the marketing. Strip away the famous faces and the pop-video homage and you are left with the quiet fact of it, a Chanel bag that finally lets a woman drop her shoulders. From a Dubai mall to a Riyadh sitting room, the 25 has slipped into the rotation like something that was always meant to be there.

How UX/UI Design Impacts the Success of Business Software

UX/UI design determines how effectively people can use software to accomplish tasks, and when that design falls short, entire software applications stall regardless of the engineering behind them.

Why UX/UI Can Make or Break Business Software

Good user experience and user interface design make business software easy to use. User experience covers the entire journey a person follows when working with a tool: logging in, completing tasks, recovering from errors, and collaborating with colleagues. User interface includes the screens, buttons, layouts, and visual cues that guide this journey. Product design and business impact happen when UX and UI design make software intuitive, reducing frustration and letting users focus on their work.

What UX and UI Mean for Modern Business Software

User experience focuses on the overall feel of the product, mapping how an end user moves through daily workflows like approvals, exceptions, and reports. UX design prioritizes user needs through five stages: research, information architecture, wireframing, testing, and iteration.

User interface refers to the visual elements a user interacts with on the screen. For Software as a Service companies, the UI is the product. If buttons, tables, labels, and navigation are unclear, backend sophistication won’t reach the user.

In an accounts payable dashboard, responsibilities divide as follows:

UX responsibilities:

  • Defining approval workflows and escalation paths
  • Handling missing data and error recovery
  • Mapping flows to match user needs
  • Structuring information for easy access without training

UI responsibilities:

  • Table layout: columns, sorting, row density
  • Filters by status, supplier, amount
  • Color coding for overdue items and status
  • Responsive design for computers, tablets, and devices

UX Design as a Strategic Advantage in Software Development

UX design is a core strategic capability, not a decorative layer added after coding is complete. Good UX organizes complexity so users can accomplish tasks without understanding the entire system. Great UX is clear, usable, and accessible.

User centered design increases user satisfaction and engagement. The best software development company partners treat UX as a shared risk reduction tool rather than an optional add on. As one framework puts it: “Prioritize research and interactive prototypes before writing full production code, or you risk building the wrong product perfectly.” SoftDoes embeds this principle into every software project, running usability tests and user research before committing engineering resources to new code.

How UX/UI Fits into the Software Development Lifecycle

  • Discovery and requirements management: UX designers and business analysts capture real user needs, constraints, and success metrics through research and stakeholder interviews. Requirements focus on user tasks, not just features. User personas clarify target motivations.
  • Design: Designers create flows, wireframes, and prototypes that developers translate into front end and back end tasks. Information architecture structures content across screens.
  • Development: In agile, designers work ahead of developers, validating features with users before main branch code changes. This iterative method gathers continuous user feedback.
  • Testing: Usability tests run alongside unit, functional, and security tests. UX issues are treated as bugs. Agile sprints include testing checkpoints.
  • Deployment: Go live includes monitoring early adoption signals: login frequency, task completion rates, error volumes. After deployment, AI helps automate testing and monitoring of software performance, giving teams more control over quality throughout the development cycle, as reported by The Verge.
  • Optimization and further development: Post launch analytics feed the next round of UX improvements, creating a feedback loop that sustains the value of the software project.

Gathering Feedback and Iterating on Business User Experience

Key methods for B2B environments:

  • Usability testing sessions: Observe five to eight users from different roles performing key tasks, noting hesitation, errors, or questions.
  • Contextual inquiry: Watch staff in their actual work settings to understand real workflows versus design assumptions.
  • In-app feedback widgets: Allow users to flag confusing screens or request help directly within the software.
  • Post-release surveys: Use brief, targeted questions after updates to gather focused feedback on changes.

Designing User Interfaces that Support Complex Enterprise Workflows

“Simple” does not mean removing depth. In enterprise systems, the goal is clarity and progressive disclosure. Dashboards, clinical decision support, or logistics panels require rich data. The challenge is presenting data so users can act without confusion. Custom applications often address this by tailoring interfaces to specific user roles and workflows.

Effective interaction patterns in business tools include:

  • Task based navigation: Organize interfaces around user tasks like approve, review, escalate rather than system modules
  • Saved views for roles: Different roles need distinct default columns and filters on the same data
  • Clear status indicators: Use colors, icons, and labels to show item status without opening details
  • Responsive layouts: Tools must work on desktops, tablets, and mobiles without losing usability

A shared design system enables knowledge transfer across screens and workflows in enterprise software. Reusable component libraries keep platforms consistent as development teams add features over years. Component based apps are flexible and easier to maintain since components update independently.

How to Evaluate a Vendor’s UX/UI Maturity in Practice

Specific signals of maturity to look for during vendor evaluation:

  • Dedicated roles: The vendor employs UX researchers, UI designers, and product strategists, not just developers handling design as a side task. Check for specialized training in human computer interaction, visual design, or research.
  • UX artifacts: Mature vendors produce journey maps, wireframes, accessibility checklists, and interactive prototypes. If a vendor only shows final screenshots, they may skip important early process steps.
  • Portfolio depth: Look for complex, data-heavy interfaces like dashboards, workflow engines, and reporting tools. Marketing websites and small apps don’t demonstrate enterprise design capabilities.
  • Feedback practices: Ask how the vendor gathers and uses user feedback in iterative releases. Do they run usability tests with real users at milestones? Do they collect feedback from both power users and novices?

A vendor comfortable with these capabilities can offer more flexibility and speed without sacrificing design quality. AI helps automate testing and monitoring of software performance, which gives teams more control over quality throughout the development cycle. As Wired has covered, AI adoption in development is accelerating, and vendors that combine AI with strong UX practices deliver faster with fewer defects.

Communication, Transparency, and Post Launch UX Ownership

Successful UX/UI outcomes depend on clear communication between client and vendor teams from kickoff through post launch support.

Effective practices include:

  • Weekly demos: Showcase software and design progress weekly to catch issues early and adjust before new code is committed.
  • Shared backlog tools: Both client and vendor access the same prioritized list of features, bugs, and UX improvements, giving business leaders control over goals and trade offs.
  • Review sessions: Discuss design changes with engineering trade offs and costs, enabling informed decisions.
  • Transparent estimates: Break down UX research, prototyping, and implementation hours so resource allocation is clear.

SoftDoes acts as a long term engineering and UX partner for enterprises and scale ups in finance, healthcare, education, ecommerce, and energy. Combining software development expertise, UX design grounded in user research, AI solutions for development and testing, and cloud native delivery, the team helps organizations build systems that users adopt, use daily, and rely on. This blend of design, engineering, and ongoing maintenance turns software projects into competitive advantages.

KamelPay’s New UAE Licences Could Create Future Payments Opportunities

Financial technology (fintech) company KamelPay has secured two important licences that could significantly broaden its role in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The company has received Stored Value Facilities (SVF) and Retail Payment Services (RPS) licences from the Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE).

They can now develop regulated payment services on their own infrastructure rather than relying as heavily on third-party financial intermediaries.

The development comes as the UAE is developing new digital and entertainment industries that will require increasingly sophisticated payment infrastructure.

All of the UAE casino sites reviewed by Haztayeb rely heavily on digital payments to ensure that deposits and withdrawals are processed speedily.

KamelPay latest regulatory approvals could result in the company forging links with the commercial gaming sector in the UAE.

A major step beyond payroll

KamelPay was founded in 2021 with a strong emphasis on payroll and business payments, particularly in construction, logistics, retail, hospitality, real estate and financial services.

Its PayD offering was built around salary payments and workforce financial services, while AbsoluteCard gives companies greater control and visibility over corporate spending.

The new licences potentially give KamelPay considerably more room to build around those products.

Co-founder and director Saadaat Yaqub says the licences will allow the company to run services on its own regulated payment infrastructure, improving its flexibility and ability to introduce new capabilities.

That distinction is important because corporate customers increasingly want one financial system capable of handling salaries, employee cards, expenses, transfers and reporting, rather than maintaining multiple disconnected providers.

It could also help KamelPay compete for larger enterprise contracts as businesses across the UAE digitise their financial operations.

Corporate Spending Could Become a Major Opportunity

Payroll gave KamelPay its initial route into major UAE employers, but corporate expense management may ultimately provide an even larger growth opportunity.

Finance departments have traditionally struggled with employee reimbursements, uncontrolled company cards, manual expense reports and fragmented records across different branches or projects.

Digital corporate cards and centralised payment platforms can replace much of that administration with predefined spending limits, instant transaction records and clearer visibility over where company money is going.

That is particularly valuable in industries such as hospitality, construction and logistics, where companies may manage hundreds or thousands of employees and suppliers across several locations.

KamelPay chief executive Ehsan Rahman says AbsoluteCard was designed to give finance teams greater control and transparency over day-to-day corporate payments.

The wider regulatory environment also provides an important advantage. CBUAE-licensed Retail Payment Service providers are subject to anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing obligations, including systems intended to detect suspicious transactions and prevent payment infrastructure being used for illicit funds.

For large companies deciding whether to move substantial payment volumes away from conventional banks, that regulatory oversight is just as important as convenience.

Commercial Gaming is Another Potential Market

One of the more interesting long-term opportunities lies in an industry that barely existed in regulated form in the UAE only a few years ago.

The General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA) now oversees licensed lottery, internet gaming, sports wagering and land-based gaming in the UAE.

That creates an entirely new network of resorts, technology suppliers, contractors and service businesses requiring regulated corporate payment infrastructure.

Wynn Al Marjan Island is being developed across 60 hectares in Ras Al Khaimah, with 22 restaurants and bars, extensive retail, events facilities, a marina and other hospitality operations scheduled to open in 2027.

Large integrated resorts require payroll systems, staff cards, supplier payments, expense controls, remittances and corporate purchasing infrastructure, all areas closely related to KamelPay’s existing business.

There could eventually be opportunities deeper within gaming payments, but those would require additional regulatory approval because the GCGRA states that third parties providing products or services related to commercial gaming must hold the appropriate gaming licence.

KamelPay has a potentially valuable starting position through its CBUAE licences, but entering regulated gaming directly would represent a separate compliance step rather than an automatic extension of its existing permissions.
