Taking care of your health like a celebrity

Whenever we see a photo of nearly any celebrity, or see someone in a movie or a series, they are usually always at peak physical shape. Granted, most of them have personal trainers and dieticians and some of them even have personal chefs to cater to their nutritional requirements. They do yoga, meditate, and eat right to make sure that they are in top shape for the next role. You can also eat, train, and take care of yourself, your body, and your mind like a true celebrity with these few techniques.

Eating right

The key to having a body and digestive system that functions at an optimal level is proper nutrition and adequate hydration, according to Refluxgate Experten zur Krankheit. What we eat greatly impacts how we feel and what we are capable of. The body needs just the right amount of calories and the balance between calories in versus calories out needs to match your goals.

The relationship between macronutrients such as protein, carbohydrates, and fatty acids are also important, but the amount you need might depend on the diet you adhere to. For instance, if you are doing a ketogenic diet like mega stars Megan Fox and Halle Berry have reportedly had great success with, then you need to tone down the number of carbohydrates you ingest and up the fatty acids and protein. There is a huge variety of different ways to split your macronutrients, and it is important that you find a formula that works well for your body and schedule.

For the fatty acids, it is important that they come from healthy sources, so that the fatty acids are unsaturated (preferably polyunsaturated) and not saturated or transfatty acids. Unsaturated and polyunsaturated fatty acids can be found in nuts, fatty fish such as salmon and herring, and avocado. Saturated fats are generally found in fast food and fried food and should not make up the main part of your diet.

As far as the protein goes it is also important that it comes from solid and healthy sources such as beans and legumes and lean meat such as fish and chicken. The majority of your carbohydrates should come from wholegrain sources of rice, pasta, potatoes and various vegetables. Make sure you drink plenty of water, as water is key to maintaining a healthy body and getting enough sleep. Incorporate lots of different vegetables and fruits into your diet. Basically, if you want to eat like a celebrity, you have to develop clean eating habits.

Calm your mind and body with meditation

Meditation is highly popular within Hollywood – probably because of the high stress working environments and busy schedules. Stars like Katy Perry, Scarlett Johansson, Russell Brand, and Brad Pitt all like to take time out of their busy days to just sit and be. Meditation is a great way to unwind and let your thoughts flow and your body relax. Meditation relaxes, refreshes, and recharges your body and soul, as well as decreasing stress symptoms, allowing for a calmer and more relaxed you.
If you are new to meditation, there are a bunch of great apps out there, such as the Keep app (which also has a great yoga section), Calm, and Buddhify. These apps offer guided meditations of varying lengths, which can be great if you are just starting out. There might also be meditation classes available in your area that you can join.

Get toned and flexible with yoga

Yoga has been around for centuries, but has recently gained a revival and is now being utilized by literally everyone from Jennifer Aniston, who practices yoga to stay in shape and stay flexible both for movies and personal gain, to pro poker players such as Celina Lin, who uses yoga to relax after high stress tournaments. Pretty much all of the Kardashians do yoga, and so do busy CEOs, who takes 20 minutes out of his schedule every day to stretch. Even stars like famous footballer David Beckham, actor Matthew McConaughey and top model Gisele Bundchen implement yoga into their daily routine to stay healthy, lean, and flexible.

Yoga is for everyone, everywhere, and anytime. It gives you that space of solitude and peace whether you have a whole hour at your disposal or only 5 minutes in a hectic afternoon.
There are so many different versions of yoga, but they are all highly beneficial for your body and mind. See if there are any classes in your area and try a few different types out to discover what suits you the best. Yoga is great for increasing flexibility and muscle tone, and for calming your mind and body, and just like meditation, there are a lot of really great apps for yoga beginners to help you get started.

How to Stay Productive on a Business Trip To London

London is an incredible city filled with a diverse range of businesses, which is why it’s a popular destination for business and leisure travellers alike.

For business travellers, visiting London can quickly become a chore. When you’re not going home in the evening, not sleeping in the same bed, not eating the same food or working at the same desk, it can get all too easy to switch into vacation mode instead of being in your usual hard-working mindset.

Despite the jet lag, unfamiliar surroundings and the back to back meetings you’ve likely got planned, the good news is that there are some steps that you can take to make sure that any business trip you go on, is a productive one. Keep these tips in mind to help you minimize distractions and get work done, no matter where you are.

Upgrade from a Hotel Room:

Anyone who’s ever tried to work from a hotel room will tell you that it’s certainly not the easiest of experiences. Even if you have a desk, space is limited, and the Wi-Fi might be patchy at the best of times. Plus, you’ve got the noise of all the other guests distracting you. Instead, upgrade your stay and find furnished apartments for rent for a month or more, that you can take advantage of. London’s fully furnished rentals provided by Blueground are ideal for any business trip; you get plenty of your own carefully designed space in a premium accommodation, with a separate living area and bedroom that can help you get more done. Plus, you get a fully equipped kitchen, so you can prepare your favourite meals without having to rely on hotel dining times.

Utilize Technology:

Before setting off, determine which of your gadgets are going to be most useful to you on your trip and pack accordingly. Will you need your laptop for writing projects and spreadsheets, or will your tablet and smartphone do the job? Depending on the purpose of your trip, you might not need to take all your gadgets and leaving some at home will lighten your load. Whatever devices you decide that you need to bring, make sure that you have access to reliable Wi-Fi. If you’re flying, many airlines now offer this as an in-flight service but it’s worth checking, especially if you’re only taking a short flight where it’s less likely to be available.

Keep Up with Your Office:

Keeping up with your normal workload in unfamiliar surroundings and settings is perhaps one of the hardest parts of going on a business trip. It can be difficult to stay on track when your day to day routine is nothing like normal, so one of the best ways to get around this is to keep up with the people at your office regularly. Before you go, meet up with your team to get status updates and review any upcoming deadlines; talk about the upcoming trip and get a plan in place together. Once you’re there, it’s a good idea to spend some time every day catching up with the office; you can do this via video chat, for example.

Familiarize Yourself with Your Destination:

The last thing that you want is to be rushing around stressed out because you’ve got a meeting to get to and have no idea how to get there, so spend some time getting to know your destination both before you set off and once you first arrive. Find out which part of London you’ll be staying in and what’s nearby; figure out how far away the place is from anywhere that you will need to go for meetings and other work-related events to help determine how hard it is to get a cab or whether the nearby public transport will be good enough for getting you from A to B. Of course, you should also see if there’s anything interesting that you could do in your downtime; tourist attractions are always worth the visit.

Be Productive When Commuting:

If you’ve got a long flight or train journey ahead when setting out on a business trip, you can take advantage of this time and really use it to be as productive as possible. Even if you’re not going to have Wi-Fi in transit – pretty rare these days, but it can happen – then figure out what work you can do without needing to be connected to the internet and get that done during your commute. The more you can get done while you’re traveling, the less you’ll have to do once you arrive and the more relaxed and focused you will feel. Signing up for airline or hotel loyalty programs that offer business traveller perks can be a good way to help boost your productivity when traveling; you can take advantage of first-class lounges that provide a quiet and relaxing place to get stuff done while you wait for your flight.

Staying productive on a business trip can be difficult; after all, your routine has completely changed and you’re in unfamiliar surroundings. Keep these tips in mind to help achieve maximum productivity on your next trip to London.

About Blenda:

Artist BLENDA, born Blenda Shimba Kabondo was raised in Sweden in a small Stockholm suburb, raised by her two Congolese parents. Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall have established themselves as the world’s biggest girl band – they have sold over 50 million records worldwide, collected over 17 million Spotify listeners, received over 3 billion YouTube views, and collated 12 billion streams worldwide.
2019 witnessed Little Mix win their second Brit Award – this time for Best British Video for “Woman Like Me,” and perform the same song live at the Brits. They also won two Global Awards for Best Group and Best Song, followed by their 4th EMA Award for Best UK & Ireland Act.

This year Little Mix launched a brand new TV series for BBC One, Little Mix The Search. The series, made by ModestTV, will see the band creating bands and becoming mentors to a new wave of talent. On “Knew You,” she said, “I’ve finally allowed myself to start writing love songs and about relationships. I never indulged in this style before. Kailee Morgue

After quietly establishing herself as an iconoclastic force with 60 million streams and widespread acclaim by everyone from The New York Times to Highsnobiety, the Phoenix-based siren unearths a torrent of intense emotions in 2020.

A three-year journey from a part-time job slinging fast food to emerging as a subversive pop wunderkind allowed the 21-year-old to do so. Along the way, she unveiled a series of fan favorite anthems, beginning with the breakthrough “Medusa” [7.6 million Spotify streams], “Siren” [8.2 million Spotify streams], “Do You Feel This Way” [feat. Whethan] [6.7 million Spotify streams] and “What The Hell Happened To Us” [24.2 million Spotify streams] from Quinn XCII’s The Story of Us. Not to mention, she attracted tastemaker praise from The FADER, NYLON, Pigeons & Planes, PAPER, Vice’s i-D and Teen Vogue. Between packing houses coast-to-coast on tour, she joined forces with Hayley Kiyoko on the 2019 single “Headcase.” In addition to tallying 2.6 million Spotify streams, Ones To Watch pegged it as “an Early Contender for 2019’s Best Pop Moment,” and Billboard dubbed it, “a dreamy trip through the 20-year-old’s mind.” Along the way, she sharpened the edge of her signature sound with a powerful progression hinted at by “Knew You” and more to come.
