Fun Gifts with Custom Tote Bags

Buying gifts of any type can be difficult from time to time. It can be hard to determine what is best and where you want to go in order to buy your gifts. Because of that, you may be looking at your options and trying to figure out exactly what it is that you want to get your hands on.

Did you know that you could use tote bags as part of your gift? Or maybe even your entire gift? In this guide, we’re going to give you some stellar ideas you can utilize to make tote bags a part of a gift.

The Bag Itself

Sometimes, all you need to give is a bag that they’ll like. There are all sorts of custom tote bags out there, and different companies are able to do all sorts of cool things with those bags. So, if you have a friend that really enjoys some sort of animal or whatever, you can find a neat tote bag that you can personalize for them.

On top of that, you can look around for collectors’ tote bags. For example, maybe they love going to Disney World. Well, you can get online and look at all sorts of options that make it easy for you to find those unique bags that you can’t find anywhere else – and that will make the collector’s heart happy.

Movie Night Bag

Want to give your friend the opportunity to enjoy a movie night? If so, then you can use a tote bag to throw together a movie night bag, filled with all of the essentials. You can make sure that they get the movie night they want by getting them a gift certificate to Fandango, or to the local theatre, and put it inside of a tote bag – or you can go further.

If they’re staying at home (like many people are right now), then consider getting them a card for RedBox or some other online movie watching option. Fill the tote bag with their favorite candies, popcorn, potato chips, 20 ounce sodas, and a variety of other fun things that they’ll enjoy. Then, they can take that tote bag and have a ton of fun in their home.

Baby Supplies

Getting ready for a baby shower? Moms need all sorts of tote bags to stay on top of things! Because of that, you may want to go ahead and get a unique one that has all of the things that they may need when they’re taking baby with them on the go.

For example, you can fill it with some bottles, extra diapers, a bib, and other fun things. Or, you can get some toys that the new mom will be able to enjoy with her little one. Just have fun with it – the new mom will appreciate it.

Spa Day Bag

Spa Day is always a great time for people who are trying to sit back and relax a little bit. Having a spa day bag allows your friend to be able to enjoy a spa day, no matter where they are or what is going on in their lives. A good spa day can help them to relax and refresh, which is always important when you look at the big picture of self-care.

What can you put in your spa day bag? Bath bombs have become really popular lately. You may also consider getting items that can help them to have an at-home manicure and/or pedicure. Face masks are a must for any spa day. And, you can even get them some comfy slippers to wear while they’re pampering themselves.

Other Themed Options

There are tons of themes that you can consider when you’re putting together a tote bag full of items that someone is going to enjoy. Think of a theme that they like and then just run with it. You can really get creative with your gifts and make sure that you have all of the things that you need in order to make gift-giving a lot of fun for you and them.

The fact is, you want to have a lot of fun with it. There’s no reason to be stingy with your ideas – get creative about what you want to provide for people. You can find a lot of ways to give great gifts and, when all is said and done, you’ll have a great time with it all. See what’s out there and see how it can make a difference for you.

Transforming Your Home With Self-Care In Mind

If you’re searching for methods of transforming your home into a self-care sanctuary, you may be surprised to know that you don’t exactly have to spend a fortune to achieve this healing goal. Your home should showcase optimal comfortability level and while you should view your home as the one place in the world you can truly let go and just relax, you will benefit significantly health-wise from making small impactful adjustments to your day-to-day lifestyle as well. From reducing anxiety and stress to an improved ability to find quality sleep on a regular basis, making necessary changes will benefit your life in many ways. Quality sleep is necessary if you want your energy to be at a high level so it would be great to think about getting a new mattress. If you are not sure what type of bed you need for yourself, it’s always a good idea to look for mattress reviews that can help you find what you need the most. Therefore, incorporating self-care routines such as hand and nail care, while making physical changes to your home will be an effort that will continue to pay off.

The following home adjustments will increase your quality of life and transform your home into the ultimate calming sanctuary.

Relaxation Through Nature

Bringing nature indoors has become an increasingly popular design trend in recent years, and for several notable reasons. While the visual appeal of natural elements, such as pot plants and elegant wall fountains for the indoors will drastically transform your bland space instantly, the health benefits of nature will impact your quality of life through inducing calm and relaxation. This is because simply being around nature will help you feel more at ease, and there is ample scientific evidence to support the fact. Even though you don’t have to transform your home into an indoor jungle, adding a few indoor plants and incorporating the soothing sounds of running water with even a small water wall will be enough to summon an absolutely blissful atmosphere.

Other methods of bringing nature in, suggest that creating a small and practical kitchen herb garden or creating a display shelf of assorted crystals and gems are also incredibly popular. It is key to avoid going overboard and rather build up a natural aroma in your home as you go, as this will help you actively create an interior design you are comfortable with, rather than making extreme changes that may feel overwhelming.

Focus On Comfort

So many homeowners make the all too common mistake of designing their homes with visual appeal in mind while neglecting elements such as comfort. Even though the visual appeal is important, many would agree that it is far more important to feel comfortable in you home rather than focus on methods of impressing guests with your modern design talent. Therefore, a simple way of transforming your home without spending too much is to simply assess your current home design and consider which elements are cramping the comfort level. Perhaps you could add a few more cosy scatter cushions, or remove overwhelming decor items that take up space and harden the atmosphere. Your home should be decorated for you, and not for your guests. Adding comfort items such as candles, cushions, and area rugs is a great and affordable way of enhancing comfort in your home.

Keep Your Home Clean And Fresh

There’s no denying that countless homeowners around the world truly underestimate the impacts of a clean and fresh home. As many feel that a cluttered and cramped living space impacts their quality of life, a clean home will have the opposite effect. However, if you are not entirely fond of cleaning, it would be wise to consider creating a cleaning schedule that allows you to complete one or two tasks per day as this will help you reduce the overall effort, while you are able to keep your home clean in general. You could designate Mondays for dusting, Tuesdays for laundry, and so on. Alternatively, you could also craft a calming cleaning schedule and change your perspective on the chore by considering cleaning as a detox of your home that will ultimately detox your daily life from dust, clutter, and other smothering negatives that live in our homes.

Repaint With Relaxation In Mind

Painting your home is an extremely affordable way of increasing property value, and instantly sprucing up your property as well. However, if you opt to repaint with relaxation in mind by opting for calming colours such as neutral colours and soothing tones, you will be able to notice an immediate impact on the general atmosphere in your home. Therefore, you should avoid bright and bold colours such as emerald green and shocking pink as these are by no means relaxing colours. Grey palettes and pastels are perfect when considering your comfort.

By Vaughn Lowery

Every now and again, we all should consume some time out of our hectic lives to enjoy a stay at one of the most sought-after institutions in lower Manhattan – the Four Seasons New York Downtown [FS NY Downtown]. Since its conception three years ago, this micro-resort is poised to be an award-winning campus with offerings geared towards a more youthful clientele.

This five-star accommodation is perched in the prominent Tribeca area of downtown NYC within walking distance from an array of activities, including Brookfield Place and the conspicuous West 4th Street. Guest floors are from the 7th to 24th with the lobby, CUT by Wolfgang Puck and meeting suite on the lower levels. The swank, slim facade also incorporates a 157 private residences which are housed between the 38th to 82nd levels.

An architectural digest of diversity with symmetrical designations throughout, celebrating geometrics alongside of high-caliber appointments. It was fabricated and brought to life by design firm Yabu Pushelberg to delight the senses and erupt an emotional connectedness to its surroundings. After all, its parents are known to construct immersive environments where pedestrians can both coexist and congregate. Particular thanks to the warm tones, recessed lighting and Italian marble.

Minutes away from downtown Brooklyn and the newly bustling Jersey City neighborhoods, Four Seasons Downtown is poised to become an influential millennial safe haven for digital nomads and senior level executives alike. Staying true to the Four Seasons marquee, the degree of service coupled with attentive staff is unprecedented. This pet-friendly, modern-lux lodge possesses a 24 hr fitness center, which easily rivals an Equinox facility: kettlebells, free weights, ample high-tech machines, yoga mats, stretching area, foam rollers, group instruction and a Peloton stationary bike.

The day spa area bears Marc Jacobs collaborative merchandise, a 75-foot indoor lap pool (open daily from 6am-9pm with on-duty lifeguard) and steamroom. Within the spa lounges, there’s plenty of toiletries at your disposal for decompression: shaving kit, dental kit, shower shoes, robes, mouthwash, hair gel, deodorant spray, q-tips, disposable combs/brushes and electronic programmable lockers. Complimentary bottles of water are readily available and rose petal hydration facial mist to make you feel even more reinvigorated. And, there’s a plethora of onsite services which are offered from aromatherapy to facials.

Quick Tricks for Clearer Skin

When it comes to dull skin, it can diminish your confidence and let you down. The best thing you should do is let the ABE tell you how to fix all of these naturally in any part of your body. Clear skin makes a huge difference in how you look, and it’s one of the few parts of your appearance that can also impact your overall health. While you can dye your hair or change your clothes, there’s not really a one-and-done solution for flaky, stretched or wrinkly skin. Still, there are a few quick tricks that might help you get into a good skincare routine, most of which will take hardly any time out of your day.

Wash Your Face

It might sound silly, but lots of people forget to wash their face properly when they wake up. You don’t need to get special soaps and formulas involved – just splash some water onto your skin and dab it off with a cloth or towel. Not only does this help clean your skin by washing off any dirt and dust, but it’ll also help shock you awake if you’re still drowsy. Plus, looking hydrated is always a good thing, and water can make dry skin look smoother for a short time.

Look For Skincare Kits

Trying to juggle different brands together can be difficult, and it can take a while to complete a daily skincare routine if you’re using a whole range of different cleansers, moisturizers, and other formulas. Pre-made kits can speed up the entire process and are also much more likely to work together properly. Most companies that offer individual products will usually also sort them in bundles: if you’re already buying a lot of products from sites like misumiskincare.com, it might be worth looking into skincare kits to help you build a proper routine.

Use Sunscreen

Sunscreen will keep your skin protected from all the wrinkles, blotches and spots that can be caused by heavy exposure to sunlight. While it’s always good to get natural sunlight, but too much can cause more harm than good. If you’re planning on spending a lot of time outdoors, especially in hotter and brighter times of the year, it’s a good idea to put on at least a small amount of sunscreen every day. It only takes a minute or two at most.

Sleep Properly

Sleep is one of the best natural remedies for bad skin, since it doesn’t take any extra effort or time, and can help manage the hormones that cause skin inflammation and stress. Make sure you’ve wiped off any makeup before you get into bed, and try to get at least seven hours of sleep each day. You might need to alter your daily routine slightly, but your body will thank you for it.

Find Allergies

Allergies and intolerances can cause all kinds of problems, and skin issues are no exception. It’s entirely possible that you’re using, eating or spending time around something that’s making your skin worse. If you have the time, try to get yourself checked for common allergies or poor reactions – it makes a bigger difference than you might think, and it can even stop major breakouts or acne-like rashes that other people never get.

Hôtel Plaza Athénée

As of late, 360 Magazine attended a mixer held to mark the newly restored Bar Seine, Arabelle Restaurant and Spa Valmont at Hôtel Plaza Athénée.

By Armon Hayes × Vaughn Lowery

Since 1984, elite travelers and celebrities alike have referred to Hotel Plaza Athénée as their ‘home away from home.’ Nestled in Manhattan’s Upper East Side (in tight proximity to MOMA and the Central Park Zoo), it’s heavily revered for its decor and 5-star services. A tranquil treasure and best kept secret for over 30 years.

Hôtel Plaza Athénée sets the gold standard with it’s onsite dining – curated by Chef Oliver Keegan. The “Athénée sliders” are the perfect appetizer made with black angus, smeared with Sriracha mayo will make your taste buds tango.

After devouring our starters, we were whisked over to Bar Seine for handcrafted cocktails. A signature Gin Martini deeply infused with floral accents was dubbed as a “Hendrick Midsummer Solstice.” Splashed with cherry liqueur and garnished with edible flower buds, it was an effortless blend of both femininity and masculinity.

Shortly after, we stepped over to Spa Valmont. Stocked with Valmont cosmetics (which are exclusive to the property) for both men and women to topple the signs of aging alongside of therapeutic sessions which encompass natural resources from Switzerland.

In short, this 143-room stately accommodation comes with an array of suites and amenities which would be sure to enhance your stay while in NYC.
