MALUMA + BLESSD

The urban music scene in Colombia celebrates an unprecedented milestone with the release of 1 Of 1, the first album created by two Colombian urban artists – Maluma, a global icon with multiple awards and recognitions and Blessd, the rising young reggaeton star with a unique style. This duo comes together to create a project that reflects the greatness of each artist and their deep commitment to Colombian culture, from Made in Medellín to the entire globe.
 
1 Of 1 is more than a product, it’s an accurate portrait of the experiences and daily life in Colombian neighborhoods. Maluma and Blessd captured the reality of the different social classes, the essence of the streets and stories of struggle and perseverance that define their society in each song. “This work will have a very positive impact. We’ve had dreams since we were kids and seeing that they can come true is a source of pride for those who see us as role models,” both artists affirmed.This release is an invitation to dream for all those who, like Maluma and Blessd, have started from the bottom and have faced difficulties to achieve success. It’s also a clear message to new artists to stay motivated and not lose hope.
 
“A full production between two Colombian artists had never been done before. If it’s the first, it can’t be done twice,” Maluma stated, emphasizing the historical importance of this project. Grateful to Blessd and his team, Juan Luis recognizes how this album has motivated him to reconnect with his essence and show once again who he is as an artist and what made him Maluma.
 
“Releasing something again with Maluma and being able to make an album together is super dope. It’s the first time two Colombian artists in the urban genre come together to do something as big as this album, and further, to do it in the neighborhood where it all started while expressing many things that Juancho and I share. Friends like Ronaldinho and the world’s #1 jeweler, Jacob & Co., joined us on this journey which is something really special for me, as a new star. Being with these superstars was a dream…Si Sabe,” explains Blessd.
 
The album comes paired with visuals for “CALL ME,” filmed in the Antioquia neighborhood in Medellín, the artists’ hometown, where we see Maluma and Blessd as friends recounting their adventures of what daily life was like in the neighborhood.
 
Moreover, 1 Of 1 pays tribute to previous generations of Colombian artists, whose legacy and work have inspired Maluma and Blessd get to where they are today. This album is the continuation of that legacy and of that dedication of those who paved the way for them in this industry.
 
This album was created with the support and teamwork of the companies behind each artist: Royalty Records, Cigol Music Group, Dímelo Jara Company, Sony Music Latin, Warner Music Latin, who together made history with this top notch production.

AREA15, the pulse-pounding hub of experiential art and entertainment located minutes from the Las Vegas Strip, announces it will hostHouse of Teletubbies: Tubbyland Rave” inside The Portal on Friday, June 21 from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Nostalgic fans of the 1990s/early 2000s TV show and party-goers alike can step into the surreal and vibrant world of “Teletubbies,” where Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa and Po will take them on a whimsical journey filled with hypnotic beats and dazzling visuals. This ticketed event is exclusively for guests aged 18 and older, offering a whimsical blast from the past combined with an electrifying nightlife experience.

The Tubbyland Rave promises sentimental fun, transforming the 360-degree, projection-mapped Portal into a colorful wonderland complete with immersive light shows, pulsating music and interactive elements that will keep attendees dancing all night long. Whether reliving childhood memories or diving into the show’s quirky allure for the first time, this rave is set to be an unforgettable night out in Las Vegas.

Zedd – Telos Tour

Multi-Platinum, GRAMMY Award winning artist Zedd has officially announced a North American headlining tour, kicking off this September with the 2-night return of his famed Zedd in the Park. The run of dates supports the forthcoming LP Telos, Zedd’s first album release in nine years, slated for August 30. Presale ticket sales for the Telos tour will begin Wednesday, June 12 at 10:00AM local time with tickets for general onsale starting Friday, June 14 at 10:00AM local time. Polestar announces Dean Shaw as the new Head of Public Relations and Communications in North America. Shaw will be responsible for overseeing all public relations and communication efforts in the U.S. and Canada. 

The appointment comes at a time of immense growth for Polestar as the brand transitions from a one-car to a three-car company this year with Polestar 3 and Polestar 4 performance SUVs both arriving in market. Shaw joins Polestar from Volvo Cars USA, where he most recently held the role of Head of Communications for several years. Prior to this role, Shaw held numerous international roles, including Global Director of Brand in Gothenburg, Sweden, Business Manager for the Volvo Monitoring & Concept Center in California, and Product and Launch Manager for Volvo Car UK. Prior to joining Volvo, Shaw was employed with Peugeot UK.

HOT 97’s Summer Jam

Yesterday marked the 30th anniversary of the hottest music event of the summer – HOT 97’s Summer Jam hip-hop festival. To celebrate this milestone, Hot 97 brought together legendary acts and today’s most viral sensations, creating an unforgettable experience for fans of all ages. Whether you were a long-time listener or a new fan, there was something for everyone to dance, bop, and recite rhymes to.

Held at the state-of-the-art UBS Arena, the festival drew a crowd of 19,000 fans eager to party with their favorite acts. The energy was electric from the Pre-Summer Jam festival all the way to the main show.

Chart-topping artists who lit up the stage included Doja Cat, Sexyy Red, French Montana, Davido, Gunna and some of Hip Hop’s fresh faces Connie Diamond, Lola Brooke, and Cash Cobain. Hip hop legends Method Man and Redman rocked the stage with a powerful rendition of “Da Rockwilder,” igniting the crowd.

Lola Brooke captivated the audience with her sizzling summer hits “Don’t Play With It” and “You“. Viral rising star Cash Cobain kept the energy soaring with his show-stopping performance of “Fisherrr” and other crowd favorites. Big Daddy Kane shared a heartfelt moment with the crowd bringing out the late Mister Cee’s brother and sister to commemorate the Hot 97 DJ Mister Cee tribute with a moment of silence instructing the crowd to throw up C’s. Headliner Doja Cat didn’t come to play, giving a trancing performance bringing out surprise guests ASAP Ferg, Busta Rhymes, and crowd favorite Gunna before closing out her set with fan-favorite “Paint The Town Red”.

The exclusive media lounge was accompanied by artists such as Offset, ASAP Ferg, YG Marley, Bay Swag, and Davido. Celebrities enjoyed exclusive Ellesse apparel gifts from The Now PR and engaged in epic interviews with Fox 5’s Lisa Evers as well as HOT97 personalities DJ Mike Medium and DJ Wallah. Ending the red carpet Sexxy Red turned heads making jaws drop with her unique teddy bear. The excitement was palpable as they mingled with the press and greeted fans, setting the tone for an extraordinary evening.

HOT 97 Summer Jam’s 30th anniversary was more than a concert; it was a historic celebration of hip hop, showcasing the genre’s enduring legacy and vibrant future.
