VENOM GETS CAUGHT IN GOBLIN QUEEN’S DARK WEB!

Arriving in November, VENOM #13 will be a special DARK WEB prelude issue! Coming out one month before DARK WEB officially kicks off in December’s DARK WEB ALPHA #1, VENOM #13 will set the stage for Venom’s role in the highly-anticipated Spider-Man/X-Men crossover event!

Al Ewing, Ram V., and Bryan Hitch’s epic VENOM run has told the intertwined journeys of father and son, Eddie Brock and Dylan Brock. Alone, and with no one to trust, he finds an unexpected ally in Madelyne Pryor, as the stage is set for the most epic crossover of the year!

DARK WEB will take place in the pages of Zeb Wells’ run on AMAZING SPIDER-MAN, and spin out into other titles including one-shots, limited series, and upcoming issues of VENOM!

“After taking Eddie to the far ends of time and space and the darkest corners of reality, it’s kind of nice to drop him back in New York City – the home, and the family, he’s been trying to get back to ever since #1,” Ewing said. “Unfortunately, this may not be a happy reunion for anyone concerned, because when Eddie crosses paths with fellow single parent the Goblin Queen, he gets tangled up in a very Dark Web…”

KANSAS CITY MISSOURI

Looking for a comfortable getaway that invites you to a new world of exploration and hospitality? Try a Midwestern vacation that offers finger-licking, and lip-smacking barbecue, all while listening to authentic jazz next to an expansive river. Barbecue and jazz are just a couple of the amenities Kansas City, Missouri (population: 475,000) has to offer. Join the 360 Magazine Team as they learn the history of this metro city and visit the top picks for lodging, exploration and most certainly, indulging.

Whether you are ready to take a risk or simply relax, the Ameristar Casino Hotel, housing 184 rooms, is an excellent choice. On the first day in Kansas City, 360 stayed at the hotel, which overlooks the mighty Missouri River, tying together an elegant vibe with a western saloon twist.

Built in 1997 and only ten miles away from downtown Kansas City and Arrowhead Stadium, the 183-acre Ameristar includes complimentary valet parking, as well as an on-site brewery, amazing eateries with the finest chefs, and a spectacular casino floor. Got that gambling itch? Be a winner at one of the largest casinos in the nation, as the 3-diamond Casino has over 2,200 slot and video poker machines, 66 table games, and 15 poker tables operating 24 hours a day.

That evening, the team got a taste of Kansas City at Rosso, an upscale restaurant inside the Hotel Sorella Country Club Plaza 。 The hotel gives a modern feel fixed with Mediterranean accents and unique accommodations. If you’re appreciative of fine art, look no further than Sorella, which incorporates timeless pieces of Renaissance-inspired art that will leave you speechless.

Hotel Sorella has 132 guest rooms. Visitors benefit from a complementary European breakfast at Francesca’s Greenhouse lounge, with access to Mediterranean dining on the rooftop, a rooftop swimming pool, fitness center and more.

The hotel has phenomenal reviews, and previously received the Trip Advisor certificate of excellence, the 2016 Diner’s Choice Award from Opentable.com, the 10 Best Hotels in Kansas City by USA Today, and multiple celebrity guest stays. Along with fine dining choices, Kansas City has a near-limitless variety of barbecue joints, offering platter upon platter of savory smoked meat to satisfy your taste buds. Arthur Bryant’s dates back to the early 1900s and is said to be some of the best barbecue ones could eat. The restaurant takes you back to the father of Kansas City barbecue, Henry Patrick. He shared his love of meats with the Garment District in downtown Kansas City at an alley stand. Arthur Bryant would eventually take over the business. With celebrities such as Steven Spielberg, Jimmy Carter and President Barack Obama dining at Arthur Bryant’s, the joint has received sensational reviews and built a solid rapport with loyal customers.

For the ultimate foodie/barbecue lover, try a Kansas City Barbecue Bus Tour, where you can stop at Arthur Bryant’s and other local restaurants like LC’s Barbeque, Gates Barbeque, and Jack Stack Barbecue. On the second day, we spent the afternoon riding from restaurant to restaurant, by bus, to enjoy some of the finest “Q” in Kansas City.

President of 360 Magazine, Vaughn Lowery, has traveled around the world trying the most scrumptious foods and had a few words to share in-between bites. Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and knowing a thing or two about barbecue, the fellow Midwesterner offers high praise.

“Kansas City is a meat lover’s paradise,” Lowery said, “and the burnt ends at LC’S BBQ are to die for!” The crisp, charred brisket is slowly cooked and re-seasoned multiple times, giving it that perfect coating of bark before hitting the tender meat. This Kansas City delicacy is a must-try. Your taste buds better hold on tight for the flavorsome twists and turns of the best meats and sides from just any one of the hundred barbecue spots in Kansas City. Aside from barbecue, additional gourmet dining options are found in downtown and smaller suburbs. In Independence, for example, Ophelia’s Restaurant and Inn serves a delectable Greek Orzo and Lemon Shrimp Salad. Now that’s healthy, done right.

Union Station is Kansas City’s own Grand Central Station, perhaps best known for the iconic Pierpont Restaurant. The restaurant was named for railroad baron J.P. (Pierpont) Morgan. Its menu features fine steaks and seafood.

Hallmark Cards headquarters is located in downtown Kansas City, in the Crown Center area. Surrounded by Hallmark is The Lego Discovery Center, which the 360 Team, of course, stumbled upon. Every structure at this grand facility is creatively crafted using Legos. It made total sense once we realized that classes are taught by modern builders. Discover the engineer in you. It’s all fun and games until you come across children who build better automobiles than you. Speaking of the kids, if they’re traveling with you, don’t miss the Sea Life Kansas City Aquarium which is located next to Union Station.

Fan of America’s favorite pastime? Kansas City has a rich baseball history. Fans can catch the 2015 World Series Champion Kansas City Royals at Kauffman Stadium. Those who enjoy baseball history won’t want to miss the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum, where the stories of great players and entrepreneurs, such as Chicago American Giants owner and Negro National League co-founder Andrew “Rube” Foster unfold.

Seeing the city while enjoying a carriage ride provides relaxation and exploration.

Work your way around town as you come across the Nelson-Atkins Museum, the National World War I Museum and Memorial, and Weston Brewing Company. Grab the flagship beer, O’Malley’s Irish Cream Ale, as a refreshing treat after your day of exploration, chowing down exquisite cuisine and witnessing decades of art-infused culture as you travel through time.

You’ll leave Kansas City rejuvenated by its incredible residents and historic charm. Refresh yourself when you #VisitMO.

ANN ARBOR MICHIGAN

If you are looking for an innovative, clean and relaxing place to enjoy a vacation or just a new place to explore, Michigan is it! To be specific, Ann Arbor is just a few hours away (by automobile) from Chicago, right outside of Detroit and below Windsor (the city in Ontario, Canada). Its endroit parfait induces an avant-garde, invigorating city and nature vibe. We wanted to spice up this press trip, so we tuned select events into a full-on fashion and lifestyle shoot. Upon arrival, we had breakfast at the Holiday Inn Ann Arbor near the University of Michigan. Straightaway we took part in exciting activities in Ypsilanti. We visited Puffer Reds since we are obsessed with cutting-edge fashion, which is a boutique that houses clothing, shoes and accessories. It has been in existence since 1979. Puffer Reds has two locations, one in Ypsilanti city and the other in Wayne county. You can shop online if you don’t live close to those areas. Ypsi Alehouse and Mishigama Craft Brewery serves many appealing beers, but, our favorite is Jimmy Jack’s Normal Beer. If you are into spicy food, you should try their Cherry Peppers and Smoked Wings.

Unity Vibration focuses on a variety of Kombucha beers and teas. The Triple Goddess Bourbon Peach Beer and Pineapple Ginger Tea are simply a delight to your buds. The Chelsea Alehouse Brewery specializes in English and American ales with many different kinds of palates including scotch, sour, cream ales and cream stout with several other varieties. Definitely try Firefly Wheat, from the selection of brews, paired nicely with their Smoked Trout Spread; the restaurant is dipped in elegance and serenity, and their food is to die for.

Eve Aronoff, French-trained chef and owner, greeted us at her restaurant, Eve Restaurant, which is located inside the Bel Tower Hotel in downtown Ann Arbor. TeaHaus is a wonderful and comfortable establishment to sip tea. They have more than 180 different teas to choose from, including classic black teas, Oolong green, white, herbal, Ayurvedic, fruit, aromatic and seasonal teas. Zingerman’s Delicatessen serves sandwiches to pair with every type of personality imaginable. It also doubles as a specialty food store, selling an array of cheeses, meats, olive oils, vinegar, coffees, teas and much more – all of these items are available via mail except the sandwiches, of course. Once you make it to Zingerman’s Deli, walk upstairs and take a look at the quilt artwork, adorable.

Ashley’s is an Irish pub that sits right across from the University of Michigan. It became an instant favorite from the first sip of their Bourbon. Johnnie Walker’s Blue Label Scotch Whisky is really rich in taste, and works well with Ashley’s BLT sandwich, which also comes with Fried Cheese Curds, Pesto Fries and a Bacon Wedge Salad. It’s heaven on earth. Arbor Brewing Company produces 130 different types of beers. A reasonable amount are seasonal and location-specific. A must-try is the Bollywood Blonde and Bliss Wheat. We came across a coffee liqueur which is worth trying, available at Ann Arbor Distilling company. We also sipped on a White Russian, which was as smooth as silk.

When time neared for the brief fashion editorial at Taste Kitchen, our stomachs were still able to work up the butterflies! It was here in Ypsilanti City, where we set up the camera equipment and searched for perfect lighting, which wasn’t that difficult in Taste Kitchen ( they’re well-equipped with massive storefront windows and tons of natural light). A little background on Taste Kitchen: this restaurant doesn’t specialize in exactly one particular category – a global cuisine with local ingredients. During your meal, it tastes as if every bite you take had been meticulously considered. Chef Danny Van treated us to a menu that called us to surrender. The dishes were so succulent, that after a full day of activities, we stuffed our stomachs with Van cuisine, and afterward, all we could do was retreat back to our room .

The University of Michigan Stadium aka “The Big House” is a classically constructed and colossal stadium built in 1927. Now, it is the largest stadium in America, with an official seating capacity of 109,900, though attendance often exceeds 111,000. One of the big perks during this tour was having the privilege of walking into the official locker rooms. The French toast at Fleetwood Diner is scrumptious, and one of their popular items is the Hippie Hash. If you’re into Moroccan food, the Casablanca is tasty, and refresh your palate with a Casablanca Fresh Lemonade with Ginger. The squad ordered a few plates: Casablanca Hummus, B’stilla , Couscous Dish and Casablanca Whole Chicken with yellow long grain rice (very tasty). The Original Gravity specializes in porter, light golden Belgian ale, American pale ale, amber ale, IPA, vanilla java porter and Orange Peel Wheels.

But, the Shinebox Dunkelweizen is recommended. Check out their website to stay abreast on their exciting menu changes. Wolverine State Brewing bar is known for their famous nachos, the 2019 Nachos. We enjoyed a flight of beers that included: Barista, Gulo, WPL, Raucher Smoked Lager and the Barista Coffee Lager (strongly recommended). In addition, they house an exclusive lager, the Wolverine Massacre Imperial Dark Lager, available annually, but only in the month of October. The dark lager is especially unique because of its packaging. Each bottle is dipped in red wax to seal in the delectable flavor. At Grange Kitchen & Bar, we tried their Spring Greens salad, Grilled Asparagus and Grilled Lake Trout. The Farmers Market introduced us to Lovage ice cream, quite a refreshing little treat. We were overjoyed to catch Pride Night at Necto nightclub. Veuve Clicquot and team members made the night! Braun Court is also an LGBTQ safe space that offers a variety of shops and great nightlife venues.

Kerrytown also houses a Farmers Market full of vendors, not to miss out on are: Maitelates Alfajor Artisanal, Mill Pond Bread, Mindo Chocolate and White Lotus Farms – just to name a few. If you’re into gelato, try the Nocciola, Coffee, Stoneground & Salted, Coconut Macaroon or Chocolate Balsamic Strawberry at Zingerman’s Creamery. So, who would’ve thought to transform an old church into a restaurant and brewery? Owners of Salt Springs Brewery, located in Saline, did. I mean, most churches hoard wine and flatbreads anyway, right? The Salt Springs Mac-N-Cheese and Sausage Pizza were faultless. At Jolly Pumpkin Artisan Ales, in Dexter, we tasted more beers and Bourbon. Our servers recommend La Roja, they were right. Down in Grizzly Peak Brewing, we suggest Hop Happy Monk and Bear Paw Porter. It had been a while since we had tequila on our tongues, so we took a recommendation to Isalita, and that did the trick. Mani, an osteria and restaurant, offers small plates featuring seasonal and local ingredients. Their menu includes stone-fired pizza, house-made pasta alongside a small production of Old World wines. Their Pickled Tomatoes were delicious with toasted bread. Our stone-fired pizza recommendations are Cippolini and Puttanesca. We also enjoyed their Linguine and Pappardelle. It seemed we really couldn’t go wrong with anything on their menu.

This metropolis is filled with an array of restaurants and bars, with a tight local network of local farms. Ann Arbor is an innovative, fresh and artistic town, chockful of eclectic culture.

Carly Rae Jepsen New Album "The Loneliest Time" via Universal Music Group for use by 360 MAGAZINE

CARLY RAE JEPSEN – NEW ALBUM

Today, GRAMMY®-, Juno- and Polaris Prize-nominated singer/songwriter Carly Rae Jepsen announces the forthcoming release of her massively anticipated new album, The Loneliest Time. Due out on October 21 via 604/Schoolboy/Interscope Records, The Loneliest Time is now available for pre-order HERE.

Her most introspective body of work to date, The Loneliest Time expands on the emotionally potent songwriting and effervescent sound that Jepsen has showcased on past work like 2015’s critically lauded and culture-shaping E*MO*TION. In bringing her new album to life, Jepsen worked with collaborators Tavish Crowe, Rostam Batmanglij (who helmed production on The Loneliest Time’s acclaimed lead single “Western Wind”), BullionCaptain CutsJohn HillKyle Shearer, and Alex Hope among others.

A major creative milestone for Jepsen, E*MO*TION inspired in-depth analysis from cultural critics and landed on multiple year-end “best of” lists from the likes of Pitchfork, Stereogum, Noisey, NPR, and many more. Released in 2019, her follow-up album Dedicated covered even more musical ground. Working with a crew of trusted songwriters and producers (among them John Hill, Jack Antonoff, Captain Cuts, Patrik Berger, and Tavish Crowe), Jepsen indulged in more sonic experimentation than she had in the past. The Atlantic called the album “brilliant” with its “godlike bops.” She returned the following May with a gift for her fans: Dedicated Side B, a buoyant set of dance-floor tunes that affirmed her status as pop’s undefeatable ambassador of love.

Jepsen will give fans a taste of the new album when she hits the road next month on her The So Nice Tour.  The 23-date headline tour kicks off on September 24 in Montreal and includes stops at marquee venues like Radio City Music Hall in New York City and The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles. Her first North American headline tour since 2019, The So Nice Tour will include support from Empress Of. Jepsen has partnered with PLUS1 so that $1 from every ticket sold will go to The Ally Coalition’s work to support homeless and at-risk LGBTQ youth. See below for the full list of tour dates, and purchase tickets HERE.

In addition to The So Nice Tour, Jepsen’s upcoming live dates include two co-headline shows with Bleachers (on September 21 in Cleveland and September 22 in Toronto), as well as an appearance at Austin City Limits Festival on October 7.

ARES – NEW PRODUCT

  • Expansion of Ares product philosophy into new electric mobility through a brand-new product portfolio coupled with global expansion of showroom network.
  • Continued investment and new hires planned at Modena HQ.
  • Highly experienced new shareholders, advisors, and board members from the automotive, finance and luxury industries join ARES to drive further growth.

ARES, the leading independent luxury coachbuilder based in Modena, initiated a strategic shift in 2021, moving from a provider of custom aesthetics enhancement services for the luxury car industry to the manufacturing of own, self-designed luxury models. The Company is now further accelerating with the creation of new range of electric mobility luxury products allowing ARES to pivot and tap into an even higher growth segment.

The Company will continue offering one-off and small series of super cars and motorcycle but is complementing the existing portfolio with the S1 Project, an own-designed super-car, as well as the reinterpretation of SUVs in the luxury segment. Additionally, ARES is looking to achieve a new major milestone with the launch of a series of luxury electric vehicles (bicycles, kick-scooters, scooters, motorcycles, and city cars) which will be previewed by the end of 2022.

Alongside the new product launches ARES is also developing and expanding its network of showrooms, the ARES Studios, opening three new sites (Bologna International Airport, Milan and London) by the end of 2022. These new studios will complement the existing network in spanning from the US to the Middle East (Miami, Marbella, Kitzbühel, Munich, St. Moritz, Zurich, Modena and Dubai).

As part of this acceleration phase, the innovative Modena-based Company will be investing almost 100 million of euros in the next coming two years, allowing ARES to deliver on its ambitious but prudent business plan, running to 2024. Additionally, the Company started a new recruitment plan to expand its staff in production, engineering, and vehicle design.

A great impulse will be given to product innovation, multi-channel distribution and digitization of process and service to make Ares Modena an internationally recognized player in the hyper-luxury segment.

To support this ambitious plan, ARES is delighted to announce the addition of three new shareholders who will support the Company strategic development and leverage their in-depth expertise in the fields of the automotive, finance and luxury sectors:

Alfredo Altavilla is an Italian automotive industry veteran, having spent many years at the top of FCA group. He currently heads ITA Airways, the Italian national airline and is Senior Advisor to CVC Capital partners. He was also Chairman of Recordati Spa and is a member of the Board of Directors of, Enerpac Tool, MSX, Proma and Ambienta SGR.

Boris Collardi, is a renowned Italian-Swiss banker. He led Julius Baer Group, a leading Swiss Private Bank, as CEO for close to 10 years until 2017. Subsequently, he moved to the Pictet Group, where he was one of the seven managing partners until August 2021. In April 2022, EFG International Bank announced his acquisition of a strategic stake, with subsequent nomination to the bank board of directors.

Marco Bizzarri, is an Italian fashion and luxury top executive, President and CEO of Gucci since 2015. From 2005 to 2009 he was also President and CEO of Stella McCartney and from 2009 to 2014 of Bottega Veneta. He has been a member of the Kering executive committee since 2012.

Alfredo Altavilla and Boris Collardi, will join the board of director of ARES, in addition to the Swiss entrepreneur Philippe Gaydoul who joined as shareholder of ARES in 2019. From 1998 to 2009 Mr. Gaydoul was President and CEO of Denner, the most successful food chain in Switzerland at the time. He is owner of Gaydoul Group, a renowned company that invests in brands with great potential for internationalization and with a distinctive character.

ARES, ENGINEERS OF EMOTIONS

ARES’ unique facility delivers a new level of design, development, manufacture and sales of coach-built and unique cars in the heart of Italy and through an expanding global network of studios. The advanced 23,000 m2 ARES facility in Modena opened in January 2018 and, in bringing all facets of coachbuilding under one roof, immediately set a new global standard for the design, development, production and handover of bespoke, personalised and unique cars.

ARES’ CEO Dany Bahar, along with his long-term Dubai-based business partner and ARES Executive Chairman, Waleed Al Ghafari, founded ARES and spotted the opportunity to move the coachbuilding business to another level of service by developing the world’s first ‘concept-to-creation’ coachbuilding facility. Together they attracted a group of experienced and passionate multinational shareholders.

For the first time, every aspect of bringing automotive dreams to reality take place under one roof in rapid time and to an extremely high level of quality. It is a unique combination of luxury car brand resources with artisan principles and skills. Merging traditional Italian craftsmanship values with the advanced ones, ARES realises the dreams and visions of enthusiasts creating one-off, unparalleled vehicles, impossible to obtain elsewhere. To this end, a shared creative experience that aims at providing a completely tailor-made product. This is the ultimate answer to the ongoing demand for customisation and the desire to stand out from the crowd of our own time.

HOFSAS HOUSE HOTEL

DISCONNECTING FROM THE WORLD IS EASIER WITH AN ASTONISHING OCEAN VIEW IN HOFSAS HOUSE HOTEL

The charming hamlet of Carmel-by-the-Sea hosts a boutique family-owned inn with 38 uniquely decorated rooms. A thalassophile is able to watch glorious sunsets over the Pacific Ocean from the seclusion of the inn’s decks or rooms. Hofsas offers a warm ambiance with its fireplaces, exclusive balconies and wet bars or kitchens. Comfortability seems to be their primary priority.

Amongst their amenities, you can enjoy a continental breakfast with French roasted coffee, tea, fresh pastries delivered from a local bakery, juice and/or fruit. After satisfying your hunger, you can relax in its heated swimming pool and dry saunas or walk about the area with your pet-friendly. If that is not enough, there is also free wireless internet access.

Hofsas House has a welcoming mural painted by their featured artist Maxine Albro, who also made the headboard spotted in room 47. Albro was commissioned by her friend Donna Hofsas, the hotel’s founder. In the 1940s and 1950s, Maxine was living in Carmel. After the main four-story addition to the Hofsas House was completed in 1957, Donna asked Maxine to create the wall painting and add other highlights to the front of the building to enhance the Bavarian theme. She also painted the three pictures hanging in the lobby. Maxine Albro was an artist who worked between Mexico and San Francisco. She carried out many commissions under programs of the New Deal, such as the Federal Works of Art Project and the Works Progress Administration. Albro was one of the foremost female artists to be hired as a muralist for this national project. The most significant commission Albro executed in her career was a mural at Coit Tower in San Francisco. As a tribute to Maxine, Hofsas House commissioned local artist Christine Sorensen to touch up a headboard and valance, faux paint the walls, enhance the end tables and glaze the crown molding in Room 47.

Post-Covid Aviation Chaos – Should You Drop the Summer Vacation Plans?

In this emerging post-Covid world, there is still a lot of travel disruption happening, especially in terms of flights.

So, should you drop your summer vacation plans?

Mishandled Luggage Is a Big Problem at Present

The aviation chaos that is currently happening in the U.S. and many countries around the world does not just concern delayed and canceled flights and changing rules about entry requirements to different countries.

Mishandled luggage incidents are also causing disruption.

For instance, incidents of mishandled luggage were up by 60% from April 2021 to March 2022.

So, if you are looking at flying to a vacation destination this summer, be prepared for potential problems with your bags. Make sure you take all of your essentials in carry-on luggage.

Several Other Factors Are Contributing to Aviation Chaos

Unfortunately, thousands of flights are still being canceled around the world every day. According to Bloomberg, there are around 20,000 delayed and canceled flights each day at present.

On top of that, airports around the world are seeing long queues, longer times to get through security, travelers missing connections, and largely inflated prices for travel.

The reasons for such chaos are mostly to do with supply chain issues and labor shortages, as a result of the Covid and lockdown era of the last couple of years.

Furthermore, there is an unprecedented demand for international travel, which is contributing to airline and airport issues.

There Is a Silver Lining

It is not all doom and gloom. While, yes, the aviation industry is continuing to experience various problems, it is very good news that many people can now fly to various countries, unlike in the last couple of years.

Countries are continuing to reopen to international travelers. For instance, New Zealand has just reopened its borders to international travelers who are fully vaccinated.

While many countries still require people to be vaccinated or produce a negative Covid test to gain entry, many countries are starting to disband Covid entry requirements altogether.

Indeed, many governments around the world think disbanding all Covid requirements is the way forward, seeing as vaccination programs have now been rolled out.

In recent months, dozens of new countries have dropped Covid entry requirements. Other countries are remaining cautious, though.

For instance, Greece has suspended border rules for the summer, but if Covid rates become too high, restrictions may be put back into place in September.

In many countries, you no longer need to do pre- or post-arrival tests or quarantine.

If You Are Planning on Flying, Make Sure You Get the Latest News and Updates

At the end of the day, there is still no central hub to inform travelers of exactly what the requirements are for entering different countries.

That means if you are considering traveling abroad this summer, you will have to spend some time finding out what protocols are or are not in place for the particular country you are planning to visit.

You need to stay updated about the latest occurrences with international flights, too.

The good news is you can stay up-to-date with all the latest flight information about a United Airlines flight status, for instance, by using the flight tracker on iFly’s website. You can quickly and accurately discover whether a flight is canceled, delayed, or on time.

The Takeaway

Yes, the aviation industry is still in chaos in these post-Covid times. However, that does not mean you should drop your summer vacation plans.

Just make sure you are organized.

Check out the requirements for traveling to the country you are planning on visiting, put valuables and essentials in carry-on luggage, and use a flight tracker to find out the status of your flight.

Then, you can relax in the sun by the poolside on your vacation and forget all about the post-Covid world for a couple of weeks.

Your Dog’s Five Most Critical Behaviors

Is your dog acting normal? More importantly, are you aware of any signs which show that your dog is not acting how they should be? Behavioral changes can sometimes be crucial when it comes to your dog’s health. Thus, it’s always worth paying attention to any differences and taking your furry friend to a vet if you have a hunch that something is wrong. After all, this may end up saving their life. Read on for more information!

Aggression without warning

Aggression from canines doesn’t always have to come in the form of a full-on attack – it could be growling, teeth-baring, or barking. Just because your dog doesn’t bite or attack doesn’t mean that other forms of aggressive behavior are appropriate. This is especially true if aggressive behavior is displayed toward the owner.

Changes in appetite

A change in appetite may be of some concern, whether your dog is constantly hungry or completely put off their food. Changes in appetites often occur during or after significant transformations – such as moving house or traveling. If they feel uncomfortable with the transition, the induced stress may trigger them to eat differently. Also, more minor changes – for example, simply getting a new food bowl – can cause your furry friend to need more time to adjust. Saying this, there might always be a bigger problem causing this change in appetite, such as a disease. Thus, go to your local vet if you feel worried.

Incontinence after spaying

Spraying incontinence is a common problem which is probably also one of the worst. After all, no one wants their carpets, walls, and furniture ruined by urination! Dog in heat is particularly prone to bloody discharge. Once the vet has ruled out the prospect of any health issues for the dog’s incontinence, the only way to approach this issue is to train the dog. If the training, positive reinforcement, and set limits don’t work, it’s time to go back to the vet or a professional dog trainer.

An increase or decrease in weight

An increase in your canine’s weight could be due to inadequate exercise, a poor diet, metabolic changes, and specific types of illnesses. Illnesses can also affect weight loss, including heart disease, drug reactions, and stress.

The depression

While thinking about your pet suffering from depression is uncomfortable, you cannot ignore it. Signs of this include lengthy sleeping times, a decreased appetite, reduced playing, and clinginess. Depression in dogs can be triggered by significant changes, such as moving house or losing a loved one. If you are worried about this problem, it’s worth speaking to a vet.

Conclusion

Hopefully, now you know the importance of paying attention to your dog’s critical behaviors. If you notice an alteration in your pet or are simply worried about how they do something, it’s always worth speaking to a professional for reassurance!
