Of the track, A$AP TyY shared, Presidential is a story about Harlem. I’m painting a picture of Harlem culture on the daily to the world.

Presidential combines a soulful horn-laden beat with TyY silky vocals and effortless flow. TyY never shies away from vulnerability as he illustrates the struggles he faces in day-to-day life through his lyrics.

The latest single follows on the heels of TyY’s successful run at Paris Men’s Fashion Week, from sitting front row at shows such as at Givenchy and KidSuper, to launching limited-edition collection with streetwear brand Global Warning. The visualizer for Presidential doubles as a recap of TyY’s fashion week endeavors.

His Global Warning collaboration features six unique pieces personally designed by TyY that are heavily influenced by TyY’s street and bike fashion, and the embodiment of the A$AP Lifestyle. A percentage of each item sold will benefit the A$AP Foundation, whose mission is to provide young people with accessible and realistic education about substance use and abuse.

TyY continues to establish himself as a style icon, delivering everything from a goggle collaboration with KidSuper and recent partnership as the face of KSUBI GOLD, to walking runways at fashion weeks in Shanghai, Paris and New York. He is also an avid BMX bike and quad rider, where he rides the streets of Harlem daily.

Presidential follows his recently released single Street Gospel, and teases a project on the horizon this fall. Stay tuned for much more to come from A$AP TyY.

About A$AP TyY:

A$AP TyY tells a different kind of Harlem story. His story has all of the hustling, heart, and triumph over adversity you might have come to expect from the borough, but there’s much more to it. He quietly grew into a diverse and dynamic presence just as proficient on an ATV as he is on the mic. In 2015, he fueled a pair of bangers O Well and Chamber Lock with the late A$AP Yams. Locking into a groove, he unleashed the 2016 Best Kept Secret mixtape followed by the 2018 Troubles of the World mixtape. He also appeared on chart-busting projects such as A$AP Mob’s Cozy Tapes Vol. 2: Too Cozy, which bowed at #6 on the Billboard Top 200. In between, he headlined packed shows on three continents, touring the U.S., China, Singapore, the United Kingdom, and Europe. Simultaneously, he hosted an art exhibit and established himself as a style icon, delivering everything from a goggle collaboration with KidSuper to opening Shanghai Fashion Week 2019 in his first runway appearance for INXX and walking in NYFW 2019 for Woo Lee Studios. He joined forces with Milan-based designer Guntas for a line featured in the Spring 2018 Guntas collection. Along the way, he picked up acclaim from Hypebeast, Complex, HotNewHipHop, and more.

Puma and Kidsuper Studios collab for use by 360 Magazine

PUMA x KidSuper Studios

PUMA and creative artist collective KidSuper Studios are back for another football-inspired, co-branded collection, which is infused with boundless imagination and continues to explore KidSuper’s artistic and experimental way of thinking.

The PUMA x KidSuper Studios collab boasts mix-and-match design elements and fun prints, and challenges the conventional look of a sneaker. Hook and loop closures, decorative zig-zag stitching, and embroidered branding are complemented by raw edges for a purposefully unfinished look. Inspired by founder and designer Colm Dillane’s unbridled love of football, the campaign images were shot with his favorite team–recent Copa Libertadores champions–Brazil’s Palmeiras. PUMA sponsored athletes Willian, Gabriel Veron, Weverton and Renan serve as the models for the collection.

Classic PUMA footwear styles are practically unrecognizable with the transformations in this collection. The RS-2K Slip-on is the standout piece, featuring the same camo inspired face print as the fleece top and pants, with a quilted upper. The Mirage Mox and Trailfox Boot get colorful transformations and feature unique aspects like stitched leather pieces on the collar to hold a pencil on the Trailfox, and tie dye laces on the Mirage Mox. The Ralph Sampson 70 offers a more subtle option, with a white leather upper and semi-translucent rubber overlay on the heel, KidSuper Studios embroidery on hook and loop straps, and an exposed foam edge on the formstrip and tongue.

Outfit yourself in a work of art when the PUMA x KidSuper collection drops on PUMA’s website, the PUMA NYC Flagship store and select retailers on March 20. Prices range from $60 to $160 for collection items.

PUMA x KidSuper

PUMA and creative artist collective KidSuper Studios are releasing their first collaboration together this week.

The PUMA x KidSuper Studios collection combines love, passion and team chemistry of football to the uniqueness, innovativeness and energy of the art world. The collection takes inspiration from PUMA’s football heritage and KidSuper founder and designer, Colm Dillane’s past as a player – working to combine the energy and unbridled passion of football with the creativity and innovation of art.

Retailing for $40-$200, the unisex collection consists of apparel, footwear and accessories that features retro tailoring, bold prints, vivid color combinations, and “KidSuper Studios” signature doodle aesthetics. Key footwear styles include bold iterations of the Style Rider, Nitefox and Oslo City, among others. Additional items from the collection include tailored jacket and pants and a football jersey, available in a brightly colored striped version and a black striped version.

As part of this collection, KidSuper Studios in partnership with PUMA created a limited animated series called “SCRAM.” Featuring Usain Bolt, Héctor Bellerín, Jessie Reyez and more. The seven-episode series tells the story of three New York City kids in their adventures through the city. Their lives change when they explore a secret laboratory below their neighborhood bodega, the kids are unknowingly exposed to superpowers, which they will need to figure out how to use.

For an exclusive preview, visit: https://youtu.be/tFQz-57wqII – the series will premiere September 16 on KidSuper Studios’ YouTube channel.

PUMA x KidSuper Studios collection will be available on PUMA.com, the PUMA NYC Store and select retailers on Thursday, September 17.
