Largely due to its infrastructure and transport connectivity.

Frankfurt offers many different museums that attest to the modern culture of the city. One of these was the MOMEM Museum. This museum highlighted techno music and the contributions of artists to the field. Showcasing a multitude of individual artists and DJ’s allowed for a more cohesive showing of international technological music. The celebration of the art was culminated in the showing of the past and present of electronic music and the intersection of club music and modern life.

On weather-allowing days, the Main Tower in Frankfurt offers the best views of the city. The 56 story skyscraper illuminated the best views in the city. The main tower also had dining and art areas and offerings adding the modern and contemporary air of Frankfurt.

David Jones, a former employee of Bank of America, provided us with valuable insights on eco-conscious establishments. These places focused on quality goods that would last a lifetime.

On our final night, we visited the original and authentic Curry Club. Our taste buds were thirsty for spices and the establishment was delivered effortlessly.

We finished our meal and went to the Sofitel Frankfurt Opera. This nicely designed hotel bar seemed to house some of the town’s socialites. Everybody was lovely and dressed to impress.

Following the recommendation of our guide, we welcomed an Uber to the most prestigious appointment in Frankfurt – Roomers Bar. After a short wait, we got access to this chic salon.

In the late hours, we fist-pumped to EDMs’ hottest hits. And consider our discoveries as to what makes this town and Germany so special. They are steadfastly committed to reducing their carbon footprint one step at a time.

The Actors Studio continues its news series that open its doors to the public for a rare opportunity to observe representative work from its private sessions. “Actors Studio In Process“ offers audiences a glimpse behind the doors of The Actors Studio, observing curated evenings of advanced work, drawn from acting sessions. At these open rehearsals, audiences may observe a scene from a larger production, a variation on a scene, and/or exploration of work designed by the actors—just as is done every week in session at the Studio. JAMES ARTHUR BALDWIN (born August 2, 1924, New York, New York—died December 1, 1987, Saint-Paul, France), was American essayist, novelist, and playwright; eloquent and passionate on the subject of race in America.

PHILLIP HAYES DEAN (born January 17, 1931, Chicago, Illinois–died April 14, 2014 Los Angeles) was an American stage actor and playwright who wrote a number of issue-based plays that play out the struggle for racial equality during much of the Twentieth Century: Sty of the Blind Pig (Dramatists Guild Hull-Warriner award, and Drama Desk award, 1972) Paul Robeson (Christopher Award, 1980).

CHARLES EDWARD GORDONE (born Charles Edward Fleming, October 12, 1925, Cleveland, Ohio–died November 16, 1995) was an American playwright, actor, director, educator; devoted much of his professional life to the pursuit of multi-racial American theater and racial unity. With his play No Place to Be Somebody, he was the first African American to win the Pulitzer Prize for Drama.

LORRAINE HANSBERRY (born May 19, 1930, Chicago, Illinois—died January 12, 1965, New York, New York), was American playwright best known for A Raisin in the Sun (New York Drama Critics’ Circle Award 1959), the first drama by an African American woman to be produced on Broadway.

Both a place and a philosophy, The Actors Studio is an association of artists who, drawing from this common wellspring, have made enormous contributions to American art. Founded in 1947 in New York City by Elia Kazan, Cheryl Crawford, and Robert Lewis, the Studio began as a place where theatre artists could gather, privately, to explore new and deeper connections to the work. The founding members, a group of actors, writers, and directors, were committed to redefining the art of acting, to developing a series of techniques an actor could use to search for and express the truth onstage in the moment. The workshop went on to become the most powerful influence on American acting in the 20th century and continues today serving new generations of actors who are committed to the same ideal. Founding Artistic Director, Lee Strasberg, developed a series of techniques and exercises that became known as ‘The Method’ and changed the art of acting worldwide.

Membership is free. After successfully completing a series of auditions, the actor is invited into membership for life. Membership is bi-coastal, and to support them there are two locations. New York is The Actors Studio’s birthplace and administrative headquarters. The only branch, Actors Studio West, is located in West Hollywood, CA. All members benefit from having a home with similar activities on both coasts.

WEAR BESPOKE SUSTAINABLE LOOKS FOR #ALULACREATES CHAMPIONING EMERGING SAUDI FEMALE DESIGNERS AT THE OSCARS 2023 VANITY FAIR PARTY

Following the launch of AlUla Creates, a platform designed to nurture creativity and empower future generations in film, the arts and fashion, ambassadors Helena Christensen and Eva Herzigova attended the Oscars Vanity Fair Party in bespoke sustainable looks designed by female Saudi designers, Arwa Al Ammari of ArAm, and Abeer Oraif, who alongside her sister Alia Oraif have demi couture label Atelier Hekayat. The designers worked alongside British-based designer Emilia Wickstead, who leant her experience and production support to bring the designers’ visions to life, creating looks ready for the red carpet.

The launch is part of a year-round programme that will allow exciting new female filmmakers and creatives to collaborate with leading industry professionals and access development funds to create and share their stories set against the majestic landscapes of AlUla with the world.

The first phase partners with The British Fashion Council (BFC), acclaimed Saudi film actor Mila Al Zahrani, Kloss Films founder Alec Maxwell and renowned fashion icons Helena Christensen and Eva Herzigova as ambassadors to champion the long-term mission of the platform.

For the AlUla Creates pilot activation, the concept behind the creative exchange started on an immersion trip where the designers became inspired by the AlUla history, landscapes, and night skies. At Emilia’s London atelier, the designs were brought to life using a range of pure silks and repurposed materials including reengineered crinoline and refashioned fabric from Abeer’s own Saudi atelier. As a raw material, silk is natural, renewable, biodegradable, and recyclable and here, its monomaterial application is aligned to circular design principles. Reutilising existing materials helps avoid virgin raw material production and diverts useable materials from waste streams, giving them another life.

Arwa Al Ammari said “AlUla is a land of extraordinary human and natural heritage. Getting inspired by this magical place to design a dress which tells part of our story, reflecting on heritage and showing it to the world at this prestigious event is a milestone in my career. Eva’s dress is inspired by the historical tombs of AlUla, the historic Incense Road and the curves and lines witnessed in the natural stone.”

The collaboration marks the advent of a long-term partnership between Eco-Age and the designers to deepen sustainability-focused practices within future product conception and overall business.

Abeer and Alia Oraif from Atelier Hekayat said “At Atelier Hekayat, we believe in art and stories. An art that comes from a combination of identities, moods, and cultural settings. Being part of the AlUla Creates program, and designing a dress for Helena Christensen has been a beautiful expression on this vision. We are happy to be involved in the program, and watch it bring support and opportunity to female founders in fashion and film in Saudi.”

As the suffix hints, this is a new and revamped version of “Badman Lighter [Remix],” one of the standout cuts from the groundbreaking African Dreams, released in December 2022. Latin music icon Daddy Yankee has been named the new global ambassador for 2023 World Baseball Classic (WBC).

The World Baseball Classic is the ultimate collection of premier international baseball talent, so what better stage to unite the global impact that Daddy Yankee has had as an artist to the worldwide reach of this premier international tournament. As a passionate baseball fan, Daddy Yankee looks to use the unique opportunity that the tournament brings to help showcase and connect cultures that embrace the game of baseball.

DaddyYankee is also expected to attend several games played at loanDeportpark in Miami throughout the tournament, including throwing out the first pitch on SundayMarch 12 before the Venezuela vs. Puerto Rico game at 7:00 PM ET.

Play-N-Skillz, the Latin/American record production/DJ group duo consisting of brothers Juan “Play” Salinas and Oscar “Skillz” Salinas, produced “Chispa” with Daddy Yankee. Their production has won several Grammys including the Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group in 2007 and the Grammy Award for Best Rap Album in 2008. The brothers act as creative directors at CTM Latin Music Publishing while also gaining a position of ownership in the company. In March of 2022 the duo produced and wrote 6 songs on the album “LEGENDADDY” the last album for Daddy Yankee which debut #1 in the world.

The World Baseball Classic is the premier international baseball tournament, sanctioned by the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC), as the sport’s official National Team World Championship, and features the best players in the world competing for their home countries and territories. More than 3.4 million fans from all over the world have attended the tournament games, held in March 2006, March 2009, March 2013 and March 2017. Team USA is the reigning World Baseball Classic Champion after beating runner-up Puerto Rico during its 2017 championship run, joining previous tournament champions Team Japan (2006 and 2009) and Team Dominican Republic (2013). The company’s new Serial 1 eBicycles series consists of four models: MOSH /CTY (“the ultimate urban play-bike”, designed for trend-setting adults in urban environments, includes pedal assist, $3,799), RUSH/CTY STEP-THRU (loaded with features and includes a step-thru frame, “an essential urban-commute feature for some riders”, $4,999), RUSH/CTY STEP-OVER (a premium vehicle for cosmopolitan e-bikers, “the sophisticated commuter”, $4,999), and the upcoming RUSH/CTY SPEED (provides electric assistance to allow speeds of up to 28mph, “the quickest way to navigate any city”, $5,599.)

BMW Urban Hybrid E-Bike

Automaker BMW has recently forayed into the world of e-bikes with their Urban Hybrid E-Bike. This e-bike keeps with BMW’s typical 4 spoke pattern. The matte black bike model comes in three sixes, small, medium, and large. Equipped with Shimano 180 mm hydraulic disc brakes, the e-bike is able to handle rugged terrain with durability and stiffness. Technical features, such as the HMI display with integrated remote, allow for riders to stay up to date while on the go. The Urban Hybrid E-Bike retails for $2,330 on BMW’s website.

Porsche eBike Sport

Sporty and sophisticated, Porsche’s e-bike promises to be the most stylish, luxurious ride around town. Unconventionally, the bike is designed with an upside-down suspension fork from MAGURA and FOX to provide the most balanced and smooth journey possible. This high-end e-bike is installed with Shimano’s color LED display, allowing cyclists to easily access information while riding. Ford’s new eBike carries on Henry Ford’s original vision while introducing new electric bike technology to the automaker’s arsenal. Designed for Pedego by world-renowned bicycle architect Tony Ellsworth, this ebike can reach speeds of up to 20mph with its 7-speed geared twist shifter and Schwalbe Big Ben tires. SONDORS’ Metacycle is the newest, shiniest toy on the electric motorcycle market and could be the first largely affordable high-way capable model in the US. Wrapped in bespoke designed aluminum casing, this e-bike’s cast “exo-frame” looks both powerful and sleek. With an installed rear hub motor, this urban electric motorcycle is able to travel up to a fast and furious 80 mph for 80 miles. Luxury car manufacturer Mercedes-Benz develops n+ bikes in Brackley, England. These e-bikes take inspiration from the premiere Mercedes-AMG Formula One car. The V-12 chassis contains an ultramodern aerodynamic design and won’t be found anywhere else. The Gates Carbon Belt drive allows for an oil-free chain and the hydraulic breaks provide quick suspension. A centrally located battery mount provides 50/50 weight distribution. Charge time is 3.5 hours with a 60-100 km range. The weight is only 37 pounds and is able to reach 20 mph.
