Duke Deuce × Dante Smith – Running Out of Love

Emerging as a genre-shifting force, critically acclaimed rising Memphis star Duke Deuce unveils a new single and music video entitled “Running Out of Love” [feat. Dante Smith]. Listen to it HERE via Quality Control Music/Motown Records/Made Men Movement. Watch the music video HERE.

On the track, guitar wails in the background as Duke’s hypnotic melodies take hold. He leans into another side of his sound with chantable harmonies and otherworldly arena-ready energy. In the accompanying video, he rocks a black bandanna, black shades, and black-studded leather vest as he performs with rockstar-level charisma. It hints at just how dynamic he is!

It arrives on the heels of “Falling Off” feat. Rico Nasty. The latter has generated 588K Spotify streams and 391K YouTube views on the music video. Attracting praise, Complex and Rolling Stone plugged it, and UPROXX raved, “Over a fitting metal guitar riff that evokes the wild energy of the glam-rock 80’s rappers boast of their inexhaustible energy, scream-rapping, “it ain’t no fallin’ off’.”

Its predecessor “I Ain’t Worried Bout It” remains a fan favorite as well. Receiving acclaim right out of the gate, Rap Radar observed, “The Memphis star moves fearlessly,” while REVOLT raved, “Duke Deuce is on a roll.”

Stay tuned for so much more from Duke Deuce very soon.

About Duke Deuce

Crunk music was never dead, but Memphis rapper Duke Deuce has taken it upon himself to inspire a new generation to tear the club up. With inexhaustible energy and a booming voice, the 28-year-old has been reclaiming the ecstatic subgenre for his hometown, making music as grim as it is gleeful, and turning up all the while. Rapping about harrowing realities and detailing the benefits of his hard-won success, Duke has reached millions of rap fans who dig his music’s intensity as much as they do the playful dancing (a.k.a. gangsta walking) he does in his videos. With each release, Duke makes the case that crunk is more than music. It’s a way of life.

Blxst – Chosen

Hip-hop star Blxst’s hit single “Chosen” featuring Ty Dolla $ign and Tyga is now the #1 song at Rhythmic and Urban radio and is one of the only independent releases to top the charts at both formats this year. Released on Red Bull Records, the single has amassed over 300 million streams globally and earned Blxst his first RIAA Gold certification.

“Chosen” has been a breakout single of the past year, breaking into the Billboard Hot 100 and peaking at #53. Last month, Blxst made his television debut on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where he performed the track with Ty Dolla $ign. “Chosen” was also nominated for “Song of the Year” at the 2021 BET Soul Train Awards, with additional nominations for Blxst for “Best New Artist,” “Best R&B/Soul Male Artist,” and “Album of the Year” for his project No Love Lost

An undisputed artist to watch in 2021, the chart-topping news is the latest in a long list of accomplishments from the West Coast artist this year. Receiving praise from Billboard, Pitchfork, USA Today, and more, Blxst has garnered more than 900 million streams across his catalog globally and has been labeled as “LA’s newest talent.”

About Blxst

Blxst has architected a new era of West Coast hip-hop and culture by hand as not only a rapper, singer, songwriter, and producer but also as a creative visionary who mixes, masters, and self-edits his own videos and artwork. Back in high school, the South Central native taught himself how to produce and record, going on to collaborate with YG, Mozzy, Snoop Dogg, Nas, and more. Following a string of buzzing singles in 2019, he forged an ironclad creative partnership with Bino Rideaux on their first critically acclaimed Sixtape. In 2020, he partnered with Red Bull Records and unleashed his solo debut EP, No Love Lost, to unanimous tastemaker praise. Following release, it rose to #3 on the Billboard Heatseekers Albums Chart, #6 on the Rolling Stone Breakthrough 25 Chart, and #11 on the Trending 25 Chart, while the single “Overrated” soared to #15 at Urban radio.

The deluxe edition of No Love Lost yielded the smash “Chosen” (feat. Ty Dolla $ign and Tyga), earning over 300 million streams in less than a year while breaking into the Billboard Hot 100 and hitting #1 at Rhythmic and Urban radio. Pigeons & Planes crowned it “one of the best projects” of the year. Kickstarting 2021, he dropped the Just For Clarity two-pack and Sixtape 2 with Bino Rideaux. He also earned the Billboard Rising Star Award, becoming the first artist to ever receive the honor at the 2021 Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Summit. With excitement at a boiling point, he sold out his entire fall 2021 No Love Lost Tour in ten seconds. With over half-a-billion streams, claiming a place in XXL’s coveted 2021 Freshman Class, selected as an Amazon Breakthrough Artist, and pegged as an “Artist to Watch” by Billboard, Complex, Pigeons & Planes, UPROXX, and more, he continues to traffic in a lane of his own, bringing the game with him.
