July 2017:  No Commission, the innovative art and music platform created by Grammy award winning artist and producer Swizz Beatz and BACARDÍ, has returned to Europe for the second time from the 29th June to 1st July, taking up residency in Germany’s capital city of Berlin, hailed as a global epicentre for creative talent and expression.

No Commission: Berlin is an art fair with a difference. The platform is designed specifically to support both emerging and established artists alike. All artists are given their exhibition space for free and 100% of the artwork sales goes directly back to the artists. The injection of immersive music performances from event collaborator BACARDÍ, shakes up the traditional art fair, creating a unique, cultural experience for visitors that celebrates the fusion of sonic and visual art forms.

Taking place at Kraftwerk Rummelsberg, No Commission: Berlin is the organiser’s most spectacular production to date. Drawing inspiration from the Golden Era of 1920s Berlin when artistic and intellectual life flourished, the organisers present an epic line-up of global artistic and music talent including Major Lazer, Kitty Cash, Virgil Abloh, Honey Dijon and Bakery (Noah Becker’s band).

No Commission: Berlin offers an art entry point for everyone, from original one-off pieces to an exhibition of affordable prints from the Heliotrope Foundation, founded by artist Caledonia ‘Swoon’ Curry.

Artists featured at No Commission: Berlin include: Jonas Burgert (Germany), Jens Einhorn (Germany), Wendy Fulenwider Liszt (US), Jaybo Monk (Born in France, works in Berlin), Jayson Musson (US), Semra Sevin (Germany), Nadine Ijewere (UK) Felipe Pantone (Argentinian-Spanish) and Ming Smith (US).
