KAH-LO – THE ARRIVAL EP

Emerging as a global phenomenon with hundreds of millions of streams and glowing critical praise, GRAMMY® Award-nominated songstress Kah-Lo unleashes her solo debut, The Arrival EP, today.

Get it here via Epic Records.

The five-track project spotlights Nigerian-born, New York City-bred Kah-Lo’s seamless fusion of wild rhythms, dancefloor-ready beats, and skyscraping hooks. The single “Fire” ignites this hybrid. Neon keys bounce underneath her slick verses before she drops the red-hot hook, “I look so fire bitch, I am the match.” On the high energy “Commandments,” she issues one important commandment for the club for another between a chanting chorus. On the finale “Candy,” airy wah guitar dissolves into a head-nodding beat punctuated by old school beeper chirps and a thick bassline. Her undeniable attitude carries another bold chorus.

Back in 2016, Kah-Lo linked up with Riton for the breakout “Rinse & Repeat.” The international anthem not only amassed 65.3 million Spotify streams, but it also picked up a GRAMMY® Award nomination in the category of “Best Dance Recording. Loaded with bangers, they dropped Foreign Ororo highlighted by “Ginger” and “Fake I.D.”—which notched 94.2 million Spotify streams. Along the way, she collaborated with everyone from Idris Elba to Destructo and earned acclaim from Rolling StoneHYPEBEASTi-D, NME, and more.

Now, she lands at the forefront of the culture with The Arrival and more to come.
