MOKE BRAND BACK IN AMERICA AFTER 40 YEARS WITH NEW ELECTRIC MOKE CALIFORNIAN via 360 MAGAZINE.

Electric MOKE Californian

MOKE International is returning the Moke Californian to America after 40 years with the more powerful and highway-legal Electric MOKE Californian – a zero-emissions reimagination of the original 1964 Mini Moke. MOKE International owns the original 1964 British Motor Corporation Moke trademarks and is recognized in over 100 jurisdictions as the owner of the Moke brand.

The Electric MOKE Californian is hand-crafted in the United Kingdom to the same high specifications and standards as the Electric MOKE that recently went on sale in Europe, but its name is a U.S. market-specific tribute to the 1977 Moke Californian – an uprated version of the Mini Moke that was sold in America and ceased production in 1982.

This is the first time a genuine version of the original Mini Moke has gone on sale in the U.S. in more than four decades, and the first time a highway-legal version of the original Mini Moke has been available in America, with a top speed of 50mph (80kph). Fully charged, the Electric MOKE Californian offers a range of 80 miles (120km) – enough to cruise Route 101 down to Malibu Beach from Santa Barbara. A full charge takes four hours on a US Type 1 charger.

MOKE International is the first 1960s brand to go fully electric, reinventing the Mini Moke through zero-emissions technology to continue its legacy as a design icon and beloved beach accessory.

Isobel Dando, CEO MOKE International, said: “This is a momentous time for MOKE International. It’s great to be able to offer the US market a genuine MOKE car for the first time in 40 years. The original Moke Californian represented an incredibly important chapter in the company’s rich history; we are proud that the MOKE lives on and can be enjoyed in the electric era.”

The Electric MOKE Californian’s pure bloodline

MOKE International, maker of the new Electric MOKE Californian, continues the legacy of the legendary Mini Moke, but reinvented for the electric era. The Mini Moke was born in the heartland of Britain’s automotive industry, created by the father of the Mini, Sir Alec Issigonis.

With prototypes built by the British Motor Corporation in 1959, developed under the codename ‘The Buckboard’, the Mini Moke was originally intended to be a lightweight military vehicle that could be parachuted into warzones and help troops traverse rough ground quickly. Marketed domestically as a utility wagon for farmers and workers, it quickly found legions of fans across the globe, especially in the South of France and Australia, where its rugged nature and open top design made it the ultimate beach shuttle. Loaded with surfboards and refreshments, with the wind running through your hair, life was for living.

Countless admirers including The Beatles, The Beach Boys and Brigitte Bardot – all seen driving the Mini Moke in glamourous seaside locations like the French Riviera and the Caribbean – cemented its status as an icon of the Swinging ‘60s.

While there were many variants of the original Mini Moke made before production ceased in 1993, perhaps the most exciting and desirable was the Moke Californian, which was sold in the U.S. from 1977-1982. Styling-wise, it was a departure from the Mini Moke’s utilitarian look which made it popular with a young, fashion-conscious crowd in sun-drenched locations like Playa del Rey and Cayucos.

Still built in the UK, at a state-of-the-art facility operated by Fablink Group in Northamptonshire, the new Electric MOKE Californian embodies all of the same qualities of the original – fun, freedom, fresh air – but plays its role in keeping some of the world’s most beautiful locations clean through zero-emissions technology.

Using a 44hp electric motor and weighing less than 800kg, the rear-wheel-drive Electric MOKE Californian covers 0-34mph (0-55kph) in 4.3 seconds and achieves a top speed of 50mph (80kph). A full charge takes just four hours via a Type 1 port and the Californian covers up to 80 miles of range on a single charge. Further details on when the Californian will go on sale in the U.S., as well as pricing, will follow in the coming weeks.

Five Factors to Consider When Buying Super Top-Up Health Insurance

Planning to get a super top-up health insurance plan is a step in the right direction. However, if you want the best overall protection in terms of inflation, access to quality medical care, and rehabilitation, you must choose the right plan. With so many insurance companies offering super top up plans, how do you pick the best one for you?

In this article, we will look at a few factors that you should consider when buying a super top up health insurance policy!

The Reputation of the Insurer

You should ideally start your search by narrowing it down to the best insurance service providers. Check customer reviews and look for telltale signs that give away how a service provider is fairing in terms of overall services being offered to existing policyholders.

Hospital Network of the Service Provider

The network of hospitals on an insurer’s network is of extreme significance. You need to compare which hospitals are covered under which insurer and choose the one that covers the best hospitals in your immediate vicinity. It doesn’t matter if they have the best healthcare providers if they are located far away. During an emergency, you need to have all nearby hospitals covered under the network to ensure timely medical attention.

Extent of Coverage

Check to see if the insurer has you covered for a plethora of diseases, including coverage of covid-19. Moreover, you also need to check if consumables are covered under the policy, and whether there are any caps on room rent. Choose a plan      with no caps on room rent      and doesn’t put a ceiling on how much you can claim for a particular procedure. In short, the extent of cover should be comprehensive enough to take care of all the expenses incurred during hospitalization

Claims Settlement Process

Check if the insurance service provider offering the super top-up health insurance uses a third party to settle claims or has an in-house team to settle claims. Always opt for the insurer with an in-house team as that guarantees a faster claims process and you don’t have to spend time running pillar to post in times of emergency. You need the entire process to be smooth, not complicated. So, check for this important criterion before choosing your insurance policy.

Claims Settlement Ratio

This is by far one of the most important aspects that you need to check. Filing claims is one thing, but what’s the point if your claims are not honored      when you most need them. Compare the claims settlement ratio across insurance service providers when buying a top-     up Mediclaim plan. Lower claim settlement ratios should raise a red flag, whereas a higher percentage of claims settlement ratio should greenlight that insurance service provider.

If you are looking for a top up Mediclaim policy to further strengthen your existing health policy, then care health insurance has one of the best super top-up plans that is designed to complement your existing policy and further strengthen it by offering exceptional benefits in the form of cashless hospitalization across 19000+ hospitals across the country; coverage for pre-and post-hospitalization expenses; no caps on room rent and coverage for both consumables and non-consumables, etc. Moreover, they have one of the highest claims settlement ratios of 95.2%, making them one of the most reliable insurance service providers, and with an in-house claims process team in place, there are no third parties involved ensuring the fastest turnaround times on your filed claims.

Top-up Mediclaim policies are your shield against rising medical costs and inflation and guarantee access to the best  medical care. Moreover, they act as a saviour when the sum insured under your existing policy is exhausted and you need further cover to continue cashless treatment. So, get a top-up Mediclaim plan as soon as you can, keeping the points in mind we discussed so far, to choose the policy that’s the best fit for you!

Navigating Teen Girlhood: What Parents Need to Know

Parents never find it easy dealing with teenhood in their daughter(s), unlike dealing with boys. Girls are delicate humans with emotional imbalances, which can appear in harsh words. Also, unlike boys, girls change faster and face more painful circumstances like menstruation. Their puberty starts appearing at a young age; thus, there are things they need to hear from their parents in dealing with these unprecedented changes.

The world made it easier and harder to deal with these issues as a parent, but with proper usage, the tool can yield a mind-blowing result. Parents, especially mothers, must educate girls on grades, body growth, dating, and social media life.

This post is designed to give you some tips on what you need to know as your daughter enters this challenging but exciting time in her life. So, read on, and happy parenting!

1. The Importance of Communication

Communication is vital in every aspect of life – business, relationships, work, etc. The tool is the best way to get into her life. However, make sure you have open communication. Parents need to communicate to build trust and dependence.

Trust makes it possible to invade her privacy without quarrelling. During this phase, important things like her physical and emotional changes must be the topic, but not always.

Always make sure that your growing teen feels heard, understood and seen. It is a good idea to find a meaningful gift that will make your daughter feel seen and that she’s in your thoughts. Also, you should be ready to answer questions that may trouble the teen. Remember that some of these questions may not be relevant to the topic.

2. The Importance of Self-Esteem

Self-esteem is a feeling in everyone, but teen girls tend to overreact when it is breached. Parents intending to penetrate their daughter’s girlhood should keep in mind that girls go through a lot during this phase. They experience rapid physical and emotional changes, which may be difficult for them to understand.

Teens who undergo difficult times may lose their self-esteem, which is a huge problem for a girl. Thus, the parent should be mindful of what they say to avoid breaching the gap. Parents that educate their daughter(s) on self-esteem are building a strong nation of women.  Also, a girl with solid self-esteem will have a flattering look in her image and a healthy sense of belonging.

3. The Importance of Friendship

Navigating teen girlhood will be harder without friendship. Friendship builds trust and togetherness. There are signs that they begin to exhibit during these times in their lives. Parents can get more information about their children from their child’s friends because girls rely on them for support.

Good friendships will build strong and healthy relationships. This will help them know the difference between good and toxic relationships. In addition, they’ll be able to know who to trust and how to communicate with society. However, parents should observe their girls for toxic or unhealthy friendships among their peers.

4. The Importance of Healthy Relationships

Relationships are essential to navigate girlhood. However, these friendships also bring unhealthy relationships that must be monitored to avoid picking up the wrong culture or behaviour.

Generally, teens are influenced by their peers, popularly known as peer pressure. Some may pick up wrong behaviours, leading to medical or psychological problems. Parents are expected to mingle with them to pinpoint red flags the girl should be aware of. A healthy relationship is a broad topic that needs to be lectured to a girl child. A little unhealthy attitude can cost them a lot because of their fragileness.

5. The Importance of Mental Health

Mental health is the best way to build a girl child. Girls with stable mental health grow up to be influential in work, business, or society. However, girls with stressed mental health usually struggle in life.

Girls are fragile, making them vulnerable to mental disorders like stress and anxiety. Their girlhood is the appropriate time to lecture them on dealing with these problems. Failure to properly navigate this phase can lead to depression over time. There are signs that the girl starts developing that the parent should observe and report to the doctor.

Conclusion

Navigating girlhood as a teen can be stressful; parents need to help lessen the burden. However, parents can only have a place in the girl’s life if they know what to focus on. This article has listed some important things to practice as parents to get a view of the girl’s life. The practice may take time, but it is effective in the end. You need to be patient and steadfast in dealing with the child’s physical and emotional changes.

The five significant developments that contributed to the carpentry field

Carpentry has been around for centuries, and it’s likely to stick around for many more. Despite the advent of technological advances in construction, carpentry remains an important skill in the industry. Over the years, there have been several significant developments that have helped to shape and mold the carpentry field. Here are five of them.

The invention of the saw

Long before the advent of power tools, humans relied on manual labor to saw through wood. The first saws were probably nothing more than sharpened rocks or pieces of bone, but over time, they evolved into more complex tools. One early type of saw was the bow saw, which consisted of a blade attached to a flexible frame. This design allowed the user to apply more force than a traditional hand saw, making it ideal for cutting large pieces of wood. However, the bow saw had one major drawback: it required two people to use it effectively. In the 18th century, that all changed with the invention of the swinging-blade saw. This new type of saw could be operated by a single person, making it much more efficient and versatile. Today, saws come in all shapes and sizes, but their basic function remains the same: to cut through wood.

The invention of the hammer

The hammer is one of the oldest and most versatile tools in history. It is believed to have originated in the Stone Age, and it has been used for everything from hunting to building to warfare. The first hammers were made of stone, bone, or wood, and they were used to bash in skulls, drive nails, or crush gravel. Over time, the hammer evolved into a more sophisticated tool, with metal heads and variously shaped handles. Today, there are hundreds of different types of hammers, each designed for a specific purpose. But regardless of its size or shape, the hammer remains an essential tool for anyone who needs to get things done.

The development of screws and nails

The development of screws and nails was a pivotal moment in the history of human civilization. For millennia, humans had been using wooden pegs and stones to secure pieces of wood together. However, these materials had serious limitations. They were difficult to shape evenly, and they often slipped out of place or broke under stress. This all changed with the invention of screws and nails. Screws are made by spiraling a piece of metal around a central shaft, while nails are made by hammering a piece of metal into the desired shape. These simple devices revolutionized carpentry and construction, making it possible to create strong and durable structures. Today, screws and nails are used in everything from furniture to bridges, and their importance cannot be overestimated.

The creation of power tools

The history of power tools can be traced back to the early 19th century when several inventors began experimenting with motorized devices. Among the first was Englishman Thomas Elliott, who created a hand-held drill that was powered by an electric motor. This tool quickly became popular with shipbuilders, who used it to bore holes for rivets. In 1868, another Englishman, Joseph Swan, created an electric iron that could be used for pressing clothes. And in 1876, American inventor Thomas Edison developed a portable generator that could be used to power electric lights. These and other early inventions laid the foundation for the development of power tools as we know them today. Thanks to the vision of these early innovators, we now have a vast array of powerful and convenient tools that make our lives easier and more productive.

The rise in popularity of DIY projects

In recent years, there has been a rise in the popularity of DIY projects. More and more people are taking on projects like home improvement, woodworking, and gardening, often with the help of online tutorials and resources. There are a few reasons for this trend. First, DIY projects can be a fun and rewarding way to spend your time. Second, they can save you money. By doing projects yourself, you can avoid paying for expensive labor costs. Finally, DIY projects can be a great way to express your creativity and individuality. Whether you’re looking to save money, have some fun, or add a personal touch to your home, DIY projects are a great option. With a little time and effort, you can take on just about any project you can imagine. So get out there and start creating!

In conclusion, carpentry has evolved over the years with new inventions and tools, one thing remains the same – it’s a craft that takes skill and precision. With the right knowledge and some practice, you can create beautiful pieces of furniture or other structures yourself, like restaurant chairs, tables, and more. Whether you want to try your hand at carpentry or are just curious about how it’s done, we hope this article gives you a better understanding of the five significant developments that have shaped this field. It’s also worth mentioning that when doing a DIY project, it’s recommended to take some safety precautions – wearing a mask, putting on gloves, or even renting a dust controller.

F Tributo Special Edition

Introducing: The New F Tributo Special Edition, Celebrating Maria Teresa De Filippis

Maserati’s racing DNA has inspired an all-new series, the F Tributo Special Edition, which pays homage to Maria Teresa De Filippis and her audacious story. De Filippis was the first woman to qualify for a Formula 1 Grand Prix, having done so aboard a Maserati 250F.

De Filippis’ tenacious spirit and the timeless reference to the Trident’s competitive racing roots inspired the new F Tributo Special Edition, a limited series available for both Ghibli and Levante in two exclusive colours – Arancio Devil and Grigio Lamiera.

The special edition raises sportiness to a new level, courtesy of its eye-catching details and alluring aesthetics. Even the exterior clearly recalls the adrenaline rush experienced on the track. Arancio Devil is a special saturated orange color, featuring a combination of vibrant energy and audacity, to recall De Filippis’ nickname, “the she-devil.” Conversely, the grey is inspired by the track, Maserati’s real “home,” where the Trident has achieved victories and produced its greatest performances.

To complement the exterior, in the Arancio Devil livery, the Levante F Tributo Special Edition comes with 21” Anteo wheels, or 21” Titano wheels for the Ghibli F Tributo Special Edition in the new Grigio Opaco color. The wheel rim details come in cobalt blue, including a specific badge on the fender and the Trident logo on the C-pillar.

For the Grigio Lamiera bodywork, the wheel color is a Glossy Black, while the details, the specific badge, and the Trident logo come in a contrasting orange.

Entering the cabin, the shades of the interior finishes are cobalt blue with orange stitching, are paired with either black or orange, and feature natural PienoFiore (Full-Grain) leather.

In October 1955, De Filippis took part in the 39th Targa Florio, driving a Maserati A6GCS (shared with Luigi Bellucci). She would take ninth place overall (fourth in the two-liter class). This was the turning point that would lead her, one challenge after another, to break down conventions and become the first woman to compete in Formula 1 in 1958, again in a Maserati.

Sixty-seven Octobers later, the F Tributo Special Edition celebrates Maserati’s sporting heritage and its revolutionary victories on the track.

Elegance, extreme performance, and sportiness renew a winning combination between Maserati and Maria Teresa De Filippis. It’s a story of tenacity, courage, and audacity. It signifies the ability to face challenges, compete, and win – both on the track and beyond, determinedly looking ahead to the future.

Sharpton @ChiFilmFest

How did the iconic civil rights advocate who became famous for his outspoken rhetoric become one of the nation’s most prominent leaders of the movement? Loudmouth cuts through the clichés and assumptions surrounding the track-suit-wearing crusader to investigate the roots of his political engagement and his transformation into a media-savvy activist. Playing into the tabloid journalism of the Jerry Springers and Phil Donahues of his heyday, Sharpton effectively raised awareness about the systemic injustice, racism, and white supremacy that has persisted in America. As he once famously declared, “Critics would say that all Al Sharpton wants is publicity. Well, that’s exactly what I want.”

Standing With Black Contractors

Earlier this week, Reverend Sharpton joined Black contractors in Cleveland who have been locked in a two-year battle with Sherwin-Williams over the development of the company’s global headquarters. The group of contractors are protesting the paint company’s promise that it would have a Black-owned contracting firm in place as a key partner in the project. That has not happened.  Reverend Sharpton has called on Cleveland’s mayor, Justin Bibb, to get involved in the dispute.

“I think that they to make sure that anytime taxpayers’ dollars are used that they listen to all segments of the community and make sure people are genuinely the businesses are given part of the general contract,” Reverend Sharpton said.

Alesso releases We Go Out new single via 360 MAGAZINE.

Alesso – We Go Out

Today, global hitmaker Alesso calls on Dutch duo Sick Individuals for the club anthem, “We Go Out.” Listen HERE via 10:22PM / Astralwerks. Boasting big builds, pulsing beats, and exhilarating breakdowns, the floorfiller –became an instant fan favorite when Alesso added it to his setlist at the Tomorrowland and Creamfields festivals. Watch the latter HERE.

In many ways, “We Go Out” is a love letter to dance music culture. “We go out dancing together, we gotta rave all night,” the anthemic chorus goes. The irresistible banger operates as both a boisterous throwback and a bold look forward, infusing tried-and-true elements of clubland with new tones and textures, and off-kilter time signatures.

While Alesso and Sick Individuals have been in each other’s orbit for years, “We Go Out” is their first time working together. It’s unlikely to be their last, however, given the outpouring of love the single has received since its festival debut. The anticipated track comes just weeks after Alesso rolled out an EP of remixes of “Words,” his crossover smash with pop star Zara Larsson. The package includes a VIP mix and remixes from Chapter & Verse, Sentinel, Arodes, and Majestic.

The remix package follows Alesso’s recent single “In My Feelings,” a seductive yet brooding collaboration with Deniz Koyu. This year, he also released the Sentinel-assisted progressive house anthem “Only You” and “Dark,” a moody and kinetic piece handcrafted for THE BATMAN. With the original version of “Words” amassing more than 150 million streams and hitting number 1 on U.S. dance radio, 2022 has been a blockbuster year for Alesso.

Particularly considering he kicked off the year with When I’m Gone,” his hit collaboration with pop icon Katy Perry. The GRAMMY-nominated visionary made his Saturday Night Live debut with the track, adding yet another dazzling achievement to his resume. Alesso has always had a knack for knowing exactly what his fans want and he delivers it in spades on the audacious and undeniable on “We Go Out.”

Kado the rapper inside 360 Magazine

KADO – Never Lost A Gun Fight (Allegedly)

Boston-Based Lyricist Hundred Round Kado Releases Never Lost A Gun Fight (Allegedly) a brick-laced bar-for-bar symphony of cohesive hood poetry

There is a throwback quality to Boston-based lyricist Hundred Round Kado whose name means “gift” in his native language, Haitian Creole. He embodies a revolutionary and emotionally raw spirit reminiscent of the Golden Age of hiphop; aggressiveness mixed with deep introspection. However the emerging underground MC, the byproduct of systemic racism, violence and poverty, was heavily influenced by trap music (Gucci, Jeezy, T.I., Boosie, ZRo, Playa Fly). This versatility is a testament to his superpower – being able to articulate his experiences into words without creative compromise.

At 32 years-old, Hundred Round Kado has spent one-third of his existence behind bars yet his passion for rap has never wavered; if anything, it has intensified. The evidence can be found on his latest body of work, Never Lost A Gun Fight (Allegedly). Artfully executed, Hundred Round Kado 11th release is a tightly-wrapped 14-song tracklist with varied moods and masterfully narrated by Charlie Masheen who shines seamlessly. The title single is cathartic ghetto gospel that opens with Masheen’s thought-provoking spoken word laying the energetic groundwork for Hundred Round Kado to spit his soul baring truths over a sparse soundscape. On records like “Gratitude,” “Dead Person” and “9 And A Nina,” there’s a soulful rap&b vibe as the MC flawlessly flows atop melodic basslines, while cuts like “Boolin In The Kut” and “Bring Your Skale” find Hundred Round Kado showcasing his ability for cinematic storytelling. Each track is thorough enough to stand on its own yet as a whole, Never Lost A Gun Fight (Allegedly) is a brick-laced bar-for-bar symphony of cohesive hood poetry. It took over a decade of growth; highs and lows, lock ups and freedom, death and life for Hundred Round Kado to produce the autobiographical content found on the project. From subject matter ranging from legal woes and street politics to relationship struggles and spiritual breakthroughs, Hundred Round Kado’s young OG reputation was earned. “I don’t rap, I make my life rhyme,” says Kado about why he makes music.

Over the last few months, Hundred Round Kado has managed to drop back-to-back music videos for tracks from Never Lost A Gunfight (Allegedly), all while being confined to house arrest. The ability to hone in on the art and focus is seen in the outcome of the visuals; they don’t follow conventional scripts. In the video for the single “Dededede,” the dynamic rapper shows himself as somewhat of a bibliophile as the camera pans across his bedroom bookshelf showcasing the works of literary icons like Toni Morrison, Octavia Butler and Zora Neale Hurston. This collection of female authors might seem somewhat of an anomaly for a gang member currently out on bail while awaiting trail for a gun charge (allegedly), but Hundred Round Kado is a rare breed.

On the strength of personal and professional respect, multi-Grammy winning artist Malik Yusef introduced Hundred Round Kado to Roc Nation artist Vic Mensa when he was on the 4:44 Tour with Jay Z in 2017. The connection proved to be mutually invaluable. “Hundred Round Kado is one of the most talented lyricists I know,” says Mensa. “The elite level of his wordplay is probably only trumped by the gravity of his story, which is literally breathtaking; born in federal prison, it’s a miracle he’s still alive and has been able to transmute his pain into passion. Kado really held me down in some tough times when I had a lot of people out for me, but it wasn’t until 2021 when he was locked up facing life that our relationship became what it is today. In those 8-9 months, I sent him nearly 40 books ranging from James Baldwin to Eckhart Tolle and saw this miraculous transformation take place in him as he really began to harness his innate power to build, as opposed to destroy. A lot of these verses he spit for me when he was doing his time and it always gave me inspiration to go harder.”

Known as the Godfather of New England, Hundred Round Kado has a head for entrepreneurship and a heart for service. The strategic businessman has a portfolio of investments alongside his astute partner Alabama Jones that encompass a barbershop, hair salon, clothing store, studio and art gallery. Living up to the meaning of his name, Kado is truly a gift. A marginalized outsider who became an insider against all odds, including a 20 year history within the criminal justice system, the intelligent artist doesn’t know what his future holds. However, mentally, emotionally, spiritually and creatively-speaking, he’s free.

RUBY RED RIMS

In collaboration with Harris Reed, the acclaimed fashion designer known for challenging expectations, Lexus has reimagined an icon from “The Wizard of Oz” – Dorothy’s ruby red slippers. “Ruby Red Rims” were unveiled last night at W Magazine’s star-studded 50th anniversary party in New York.

Under license from Warner Bros. Consumer Products, the concept celebrates the automaker’s daring redesign of its bestselling, most iconic vehicle, the all-new 2023 Lexus RX. It is an extension of the vehicle’s launch campaign that reminds us to never lose our edge with a modern interpretation of one of the most celebrated films of all time. What if, in “The Wizard of Oz,” Dorothy had ignored the advice to “follow the yellow brick road” and took the road less traveled instead?

With the “Ruby Red Rims,” Harris Reed and Lexus present the RX as the ultimate vehicle for inspiring drivers to veer off of the beaten path. As the official vehicle of the W 50th anniversary party, the “Ruby Red Rims” RX was stationed at the event’s entrance, greeting the fashion icons, celebrities and luminaries who have graced W’s cover through the decades, and setting the tone for the 70s-themed bash.

“As a gender fluid designer, I’ve always been fueled and inspired by choosing the path less traveled,” said Harris Reed. “With the bold new design of the Lexus RX and the cinematic Hollywood classic, “The Wizard of Oz,” I took inspiration from the literal interpretation of choosing your own path and pursuing a new journey down the red brick road, with a nod to the film’s iconic ruby slippers and my own designs.”

In creating the “Ruby Red Rims,” Reed took inspiration from two of the signature hats in his recent Spring 2023 ready-to-wear collection. The backs of the rims are made of solid aluminum and feature gloss-sealed glitter. In the center sits the ruby core and Lexus logo, embedded in a polished ruby red color, and powered by LED lights that bring them to life. Fins reveal the ruby red color from different angles, creating a magical moment that celebrates the iconic power of the shoes and the rims. A dramatic color change signifies the transition between worlds, immersing viewers in the journey.

“With ‘The Wizard of Oz’ as a foundation for our all-new RX launch spot, we were excited about the possibilities of connecting our wheels to Dorothy’s ruby red slippers. The final design and thoughtful interpretation of the “Ruby Red Rims” far exceeded our expectations,” said Vinay Shahani, vice president, Lexus marketing. “We are grateful for the incomparable, trailblazing designer, Harris Reed, who helped us reimagine the ruby slipper in the most striking way for W’s milestone 50th celebration.”

The ”Ruby Red Rims” RX will make additional appearances throughout the country later this year and next. For more information on the 2023 RX, visit www.lexus.com/newRX.
