Valentino x Rauw Alejandro x Darell – “Hola”

Internationally renowned urban-artist Valentino unveils his long-awaited single “Hola”, featuring two of his greatest colleagues and friends from the Latin industry: Rauw Alejandro and Darell. The single and its official video clip are available today on all digital platforms.

For several weeks, Valentino has kept his fans following his next big step in music through his social media accounts, where he has left little hints of what his upcoming song will be. Going hand in hand with Warner Music Latina and La Industria INC, “Hola” was born with the lyrics of each one of its interpreters: Valentino, Rauw Alejandro, and Darell, together with Juan Diego Medina (CEO at La Industria INC), with the production of Kris Floyd, Jota Rosa, and Ivan Jael Carballo Montañez.

“Hola” tells an unrequited love story with a surprising ending, which becomes the perfect cherry on top. Valentino presents his new promotional single together with its official music video, filmed during the COVID-19 pandemic. This audiovisual project has become even more special for the artist since every single person involved (including the three singers) agreed to stay 6 feet apart during the video recording, following all the recommended safety measures to stop de virus from spreading, showcasing, at the same time, his undeniable respect and commitment with his fans. The video shooting took place in the city of Miami, Florida, and it was carefully directed by Gustavo Camacho together with Mastermind Entertainment. The final result is available on Valentino’s official YouTube channel.

Steve Aoki × Frank Walker × AJ Mitchell

Today, two-time Grammy-nominated DJ/producer Steve Aoki, alongside rising fellow DJ/producer Frank Walker, and pop singer-songwriter, MTV Push/Vevo LIFT Artist, AJ Mitchell drop a refreshing high-energy summer collaboration “Imagine.” This new single calls us to imagine everything that comes with a relationship blending Aoki’s signature electro-pop sound with Walker’s dance-pop and Mitchell’s smoot breezy vocals, and is set to save the dancefloor this summer.

Aoki, Walker and Mitchell seamlessly blend their talents to create “Imagine”, a high-energy track that explores the highs and lows when imagining love. With catchy lyrics and a feel-good melody that combines underlying piano chords with sonic and techno beats, it transports you to your most desired state of love and the emotions felt in that ideal state. The chorus echoes “I want it with you” knowing that each listener can visualize their love and feel their own euphoria at the beat drop. The melody continually grows in strength as the lyrics confirm the power love can have in any situation…”if you imagine.”

“This track with Frank & AJ is something we poured our heart & souls into, and I’m so excited for it to be out just in time for Summer,” said Aoki. “The lyrics are something everyone can relate to, and the beat is something everyone can dance to. I wish we could bring it to you live in-person, but we have some special plans regardless to bring this to the world.”

“Imagine feels like such a game-changing song for me personally,” said Walker. “Creating a record alongside Steve has been incredible, he’s a legend in the dance scene and being a part of his creative process is unlike anything I’ve done before. Taking our production and adding AJ Mitchell into the mix took the record to a new level, he’s such a talented artist with a crazy voice. The three of us were able to come together with our own unique sounds to something truly special on Imagine. I can’t wait for the world to hear this one!”

“I’m very excited to be a part of such a fun record as “Imagine,” said Mitchell. “Steve has been one of my favorite people to work with. Him and Frank are both super talented and this is an awesome track you won’t be able to stop dancing to.”

LAVA/Republic Records Signs South Of Eden

LAVA/Republic Records announce the signing of South Of Eden (formerly Black Coffee). Today the Columbus, OH four-piece release their debut single “Dancing With Fire.”

Listen to “Dancing with Fire” here via LAVA/Republic Records

Rip-roaring riffs abound on this incendiary and irresistible anthem. Helmed by GRAMMY® Award-winning producer Greg Wells [Adele, Twenty One Pilots, Deftones], hyper-charged guitars and thunderous percussion collide with towering falsetto as the refrain soars to the heavens and back. Emerging with a scorching sound of their own, the boys siphon grunge melody into classic rock-style virtuosity with unapologetic attitude and a whole lot of grit.

On the song the band noted “We knew we wanted our first release to showcase our personalities, both in the music and the visual. “‘Dancing With Fire’ is just that; personality. It’s a song about conflict, and to us that conflict is being a bunch of twenty-two-year-olds attempting to make it as a rock band in unprecedented times. We’re excited to see how people interpret the song into their own lives.”

Lund, Lil Skies, and Noah Cyrus – Broken

After independently posting up nearly half-a-billion cumulative streams and views, Southern California singer, producer and multi-instrumentalist Lund serves up the official remix of his breakout single “Broken” feat. Lil Skies and Noah Cyrus today.

Listen to “Broken” remix feat. Lil Skies and Noah Cyrus here.

The track takes on a new life with multiple dimensions. Over the signature guitar-laced beat, Lil Skies rolls through with airtight bars as Noah embraces the haunted hook with hypnotic harmonies and a captivating crescendo.

“Never thought I’d see the day where two of my idols are featured on a track that I made in my bedroom. I owe it all to everyone out there listening, thank you for everything,” says Lund on the track.

“Lund and I been trying to collab for a minute, this track right here was fire! Got me on here singing,” says Lil Skies on the collaboration.

“I thought this record was hard from the second I heard it. It took probably 30 minutes to write my verse because I feel so connected to the record. And lowkey I’ve been playing the song every day since the day we did it,” Noah Cyrus says on working on the song.

This update continues an unbelievable underdog story for the song and its creator. Crafted and released D.I.Y. by Lund, the original “Broken” has already gathered 170 million Spotify streams and 60 million YouTube views to date. It also cemented him as a much mused-about musical force as a prolific string of releases followed until he signed to Republic Records this year.
