Reebok’s Pump Omni Zone II “Rec Center”

Reebok has today revealed the latest colorway for its Pump Omni Zone II heritage basketball shoe, “Rec Center” ($170, HR0504), available beginning March 17.

Made famous in the early ‘90s by Boston guard, rookie dunk champ, and longtime brand athlete Dee Brown, Reebok’s Pump Omni Zone II sneaker – featuring first-of-its-kind custom-fit “Pump” technology – launched an industry-wide innovation race that forever changed the trajectory of sneaker history.

On its growing arc of retros and new colorways, Pump Omni Zone II “Rec Center” has next, utilizing color and material application to nod local recreation centers where youth often find their love for sport and community.

The shoe’s multi-color upper is dressed in suede with a leather heel cap and TPU overlay – each element speaking to the various textures, equipment, and colors often on display in local rec centers – while a lift of the Pump bladder tongue reveals inside the shoe a unique gym-floor graphic sock liner.
