Carer Ace – New EP

Today, Cameroonian American singer, songwriter and rapper Carter Ace uncovers his new EP The One and Lonely on Let’s Get It Records/Republic Records.

These five tracks illuminate every facet of the slick, sly, and smooth genre disruptor. “Just Like Money” dips in and out of boisterous horns as he flexes his dynamic vocal range. Elsewhere, soft harmonies glide over “Me Sometimes,” while bass pulsates like a heartbeat. “He’s Alive” teems with intense energy. Its manic rhymes bleed into gruff and guttural ad-libs and a punkified hook.

He set the stage for the five-track project with the buzzing anthem “Stay Here Instead.” Right out of the gate, Sweety High praised it as a “a smooth and swoon-worthy R&B track” and “dreamy in all the right ways.”

Meanwhile, RIFF Magazine went as far to say, “There’s a reflect to compare Carter Ace to someone like Pharrell Williams, but that’s not entirely fair, because Ace’s voice may actually be a little better.”

The projects also boasts the title track and debut single “The One And Lonely,” which continues to turn heads and earn critical praise. Ones To Watch claimed, “The creative amalgamation of sonic and mood shifts is intoxicating from start to finish,” and Alfitude extolled how Carter “seamlessly blended RnB with hip-hop, soul and even space funk to create one of the most impressive songs that I have experienced so far this month.”

In other big news, Carter joins Jonas Brothers for five more tour dates this October, beginning October 2 in Wantagh, NY at Northwell Health at Jones Beach Amphitheater. Check out the full confirmed itinerary below. Tickets are available HERE.

Carter Ace proves he’s The One And Lonely now!

Rising up out of the San Fernando Valley, Carter Ace initially incited waves through the culture with If It Don’t Work in 2017. A year later, he served up “I Think I’m Normal” with production by Isom Innis of Foster The People. It notably eclipsed 3.4 million Spotify streams as he buzzed to the forefront of the conversation with features in GQ and Flaunt. Joe Jonas heard his music and immediately reached out, signing him to Let’s Get It Records in conjunction with Republic Records. In 2021, Carter formally introduces himself with much more music to come. Get ready!
