Loreen unveils the official music video for her soaring, emotionally raw anthem “True Love,” lifted from her critically acclaimed album Wildfire, via Polydor France. Watch HERE.
Directed by award-winning filmmaker Neels Castillon (Chloé, LANCÔME, Louis Vuitton), the pair sought to expand the cinematic world first introduced in “Feels Like Heaven,” using vast natural landscapes and elemental forces such as fire and rain to mirror an internal journey of transformation. Castillon, known for his poetic and visually arresting work, brings a refined sensitivity to scale, balancing grandeur with human fragility in a way that aligns seamlessly with Loreen’s artistic vision.
Emerging into a vast, mountainous plain, Loreen moves through the terrain stripped of her now-iconic metal armour, which lies abandoned on the ground around her. As rain begins to fall, it does not extinguish her, instead, it marks a moment of surrender and rebirth. What follows is not defeat, but release: a powerful visual transformation that traces the passage from wounded resistance to open-hearted healing. Epic in scale yet deeply intimate, the video captures Loreen at her most exposed and evolved, symbolising a full-circle moment in the Wildfirenarrative.
With “True Love,” Loreen closes the chapter that began with “Feels Like Heaven,” delivering a cinematic and spiritual conclusion that reaffirms her position as one of the most compelling and boundary-pushing artists of her generation.
Loreen says: “‘True Love’ is about surrender, not in a way that weakens you, but in a way that sets you free. It’s about having the courage to feel everything, the beauty, the fear, the chaos, and still choosing to open your heart fully. This video is a continuation of that journey; moving through fire, through darkness, and arriving at a place of release. For me, it’s not just about romantic love, it’s about truth.”
Loreen’s artistry has long transcended borders, with multi-platinum hits including “Euphoria” and “Tattoo” standing as defining moments in modern music. Amassing over a billion streams combined, these tracks underscore a legacy built on emotional resonance and global impact. Raised in Sweden with roots in the Berber communities of the Moroccan Atlas Mountains, her sound is deeply informed by rhythm, spirituality and human connection where music becomes a vehicle for healing and transformation.
With Wildfire, a deeply personal and spiritual project shaped by over a decade of creative evolution, Loreen invites listeners into a space of reflection and release, exploring the human experience in all its complexity. It responds to a world overwhelmed by noise and disconnection, encouraging a return to intuition, truth and inner clarity.
Wildfireis available now in multiple physical formats including CD and three vinyl editions: Day, Dusk and Midnight (availability varies by territory). Order HERE.
