Carson MacCormac will soon be seen in a provocative, supporting role as a young Dean in Lionsgate‘s eagerly awaited thriller Luckiest Girl Alive.

”I think this project is fantastic. I’m really excited to be a part of its cast… The Crew and everyone on board is so talented, so I really think it’s going to be a good one.” That’s Carson’s take on his involvement in the project.

This forthcoming film, featuring Connie Britton, Mila Kunis, and Finn Wittrock, brings Jessica Knoll‘s best-selling novel to life. It tells the story of Ani FaNelli (Kunis), a young woman who has a perfect life in New York, which ultimately turns out to be a fantasy. Things change for the worse as she is forced to relive a traumatic incident from her teenage history. After being accosted by a documentary director, she speaks of the nightmare. Afterward, everyone and everything within her world begin to crumble.

MacCormac plays a cowardly and selfish student who is the catalyst for the unspeakable events which took place during Kunis’ adolescence. Carson describes his performance as intense, and it literally terrified him to get so submerged. ”It makes me sad to dive into it when I first got the script,” he says.

It is clear that MacCormac is an arts apprentice and enjoys reading and writing. While the thriller was based in the 1990s, this able-bodied actor handled both the vernacular and temperament of the game with ease. ‘’I love doing roles when I get to play characters that are in a different time frame, a different world,” he confesses.

Directed by Mike Barker and produced by Buddy Enright, this movie will have everyone locked on their flat screens while on the edge of their sofas.
