Justin Quiles honored with 4 nominations at the 2022 Premios Juventud Awards

Renowned Latin music heavy hitter, Justin Quiles, garnered four nominations at the 2022 Premios Juventud Awards under the “Album del Año (Album of the Year)” (for his album, La Última Promesa), “Artista Masculino – On The Rise (Male Artist),” and “Track Viral del Año (Viral Track of the Year) (for his successful collaboration on “Envolver Remix” alongside Anitta, and “Medallo” with Blessd and Lenny Tavárez) categories.
 
The nominations were announced today on Univision’s morning show, Despierta America, and through the network’s digital platforms. For the first time ever, the ceremony will be broadcast live from Puerto Rico on Thursday, July 21 at 7pm EST on Univision.

At the beginning of the month, the Latin music star took home two Premios Heat awards in the “Artista Region Norte” (Best Artist North Region) and “Mejor Colaboración” (Best Collaboration) categories at HTV’s Premios Heat awards. Quiles also delivered a show stopping performance that included his hits “Colorin Colorado” and “Loco” where he was joined by Chimbala and icons Zion & Lennox. This past Spring, Justin kept busy bringing his music to the US and Puerto Rico with his tour which made stops in New York, Washington DC, Philadelphia, Boston, Las Vegas and in his native Puerto Rico. He will continue his tour this Summer taking his show to Europe with stops in multiple countries. The platinum selling artist will also release new music in the coming weeks.

The album reached No. 1 on Apple MusicTop Album Charts“, No. 1 BTS Video on Apple Music “Top Video Charts“, No. 1 on iTunes, got 1 million views in the first-day release only on Apple Music, and #3 on Spotify’s Top Global Album Debuts (#1 Latin Albums). “La Última Promesa” is also home to several multi-platinum hits released prior to the album including “Loco” featuring Zion & Lennox and Chimbala, which reached #1 at US radio the week of the album’s release and has topped over 185.9 million views on YouTube, was certified 2x Platinum in Spain, reached #1 on Billboard’s Latin Airplay chart, #1 on Latin Rhythm Airplay, #10 on the Latin Digital Song Sales chart, #13 on Hot Latin Songs, and is currently at #1 in the United States and Spain; “PAM” with superstars Daddy Yankee and El Alfa, whose video has more than 91.1 million views and entered the Top 10 of Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs and Latin Airplay charts for more than 15 weeks; and “Jeans” with more than 213 million views and certified Platinum in the United States, Diamond in Chile, Platinum in Spain, 2x Platinum in Argentina, 4x Platinum in Peru, and 3x Platinum in Mexico. Adding to the success of “La Última Promesa”, he premiered the official video for his single “Colorín Colorado”, which quickly became a fan favorite for the hitmaker. Since its release, it has already amassed over 42 million views on YouTube and over 492 million streams globally.
