Coldplay surprised soccer fans during the first-ever FIFA Club World Cup™ Final Halftime Show on Sunday, July 13 performing with Emmanuel Kelly, the world’s first differently abled pop artist, at MetLife Stadium in front of tens of thousands of fans and millions streaming worldwide on DAZN. Sharing the spotlight with J Balvin, Doja Cat, and Tems, Emmanuel and Coldplay delivered a powerful moment in support of the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund.
The halftime show was curated by Chris Martin (Coldplay) who invited Emmanuel Kelly to sing “A Sky Full of Stars” with him during this special performance, marking the first time a person with a disability has headlined a global event / halftime show.
