Conan Gray is currently one of YouTube Music’s Artists on the Rise, YouTube’s emerging artist program that champions breaking talent and rising stars. As part of the campaign, Gray is set to collaborate with YouTube Music on a unique content series that will live on his Official Artist Channel and invite fans to get to know Conan on a deeper level.

YouTube Music’s Artists on the Rise adds to a list of prestigious campaigns Conan has been selected to join, including his participation into both VEVO DSCVR and MTV Push earlier this year.

Well before Kid Krow even landed, Gray impressively amassed an astounding 600 million streams! The album will include the hit single “Maniac”, which has already been added to BBC Radio 1 in the UK and certified Gold in Australia.  Also featured on Kid Krow are buzzworthy tracks, “The Story”, “Comfort Crowd”, and “Checkmate”. Not to mention, last year’s Sunset Season EP clocked 300 million streams between the fan favorites “Crush Culture,” “Idle Town,” and “Generation Why.”

As the story goes, Conan Gray found a way out of his tiny Texas hometown by building his own musical world from nothing more than Garage Band and a cheap microphone taped to a lamp.

Within two years since uploading “Idle Town,” he quietly climbed to the forefront of pop on the back of his debut EP, Sunset Season [Republic Records], and a string of successful singles. Amassing upwards of 600 million streams, he garnered acclaim from Vogue, VMAN, Teen Vogue, Paper, The FADER, MTV, i-D, Billboard, Wonderland, Clash, Notion, Seventeen, and OnesToWatch, to name a few, made his television debut on Late Night with Seth Meyers, and transformed peers such as Billie Eilish, Halsey, BTS, The 1975, Brendon Urie, Troye Sivan, Lewis Capaldi, and Noah Cyrus into ardent and vocal fans. Prior to the release of a proper full-length, he sold out three North American headline tours and a European headline tour in addition to supporting Panic! At The Disco and performing at Lollapalooza. He will be playing top festivals such as Coachella and Firefly in 2020.
