This last weekend Los Bukis kicked off their highly anticipated Una Historia Cantada Tour to keep writing their history in gold letters and setting themselves up for musical immortality.

The appointment was at 8 pm for the two-day concerts, where thousands of attendees gathered to see Marco Antonio Solís, José Javier Solís, Joel Solís, Roberto Guadarrama, Eusebio El Chivo Cortéz and Pedro Sánchez reunite on the stage. The stadium thundered as the audience sang along hits such as Tu Cárcel, Mi Fantasía and Y Ahora Te Vas at the top of their lungs, embarking on a trip into melancholy, love and memories with these and many more songs that are hailed as Latin music classics.

People at the venue drove miles –some even traveled from many parts of the country and abroad– to watch the legendary band perform music that has passed from generation to generation and bring families together for this historic event.

More than 90 minutes on stage to tell relatable, crowd-pleasing stories and bring generations and nations together through the universal language of music. This certainly was an explosive starting signal for a tour that has started to be written in gold in music history books.

Una historia cantada continues next at Chicago’s Soldier Field on September 4th & 5th. On September 10th and 11th, Marco Antonio will perform at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas alongside special guests to celebrate the National Holidays and will then re-join the tour for performances at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on September 15th and Houston’s NRG Stadium on September 18th. The band has already added more dates at San Antonio’s Alamodome (September 25th) and Oakland’s RingCentral Coliseum (October 1st and 2nd.)

The feeling within the stadium was completely indescribable – it was surreal to be able to see Los Bukis reunite after 25 years and watch as they performed to the sold out crowds who were dancing and singing every word, said Hans Schafer, SVP of Touring and Head of Live Nation Latin. This is a once-in-a-lifetime moment that generations of Bukis fans were able to experience all together under the same roof and I am so proud and thankful for everyone who helped make this happen from the band and their team, the Live Nation Latin team, all of the venues, and every single person that played a role here – it takes a village, and this village made something magical happen that means so much to so many people. – Hans Schafer, SVP of Touring and Head of Live Nation Latin

[For] a roaring Los Angeles crowd that waited more than 25 years to see the superstar ensemble back together onstage… It was a dream setlist… [from] ‘The Mexican Beatles’… Romanticism is the essence of Los Bukis’ songs, so it was no surprise that their over two-hour set would be an ode to love… Fans never got to sit as the hits kept coming… as relatable now as decades ago..  From cumbias to rancheras and, of course, breakup ballads… [And,] from the parking lot to inside the venue, everywhere you looked there was a family taking a selfie… That’s the magic of Los Bukis, their ability to bring multigenerational families together. – Billboard

Los Bukis make history with SoFi Stadium debut… The Bukis not only filled the stadium twice (a challenge for any group or soloist), but also filled the hearts and souls of their fans after 25 years of waiting… With a journey through memory and romanticism… The legendary band surpassed expectations with two successful concerts that wrote in gold letters the first pages in the history of the huge and elegant new Los Angeles stadium that was built, for the most part, by the hands of Hispanic workers….   These concerts will remain in the memory of those present, who without realizing it are already part of ‘Una Historia Cantada’ and that will surely be told forever and ever Los Angeles Times en Espanol.
