The National Museum of the Pacific War is currently undertaking the long-anticipated renovation of the George H.W. Bush Gallery—a transformational project set to redefine how visitors connect with the personal stories and pivotal events of the Pacific War.

Scheduled for completion in Fall 2025, the renovation will deliver a reimagined visitor
experience featuring expanded historical content, updated interpretation, and new exhibit designs. The redesigned gallery will explore the complexity and global impact of the Pacific
Theater while centering the experiences of the men and women who lived it.

The updated space will include immersive environments, interactive technology, and virtual
storytelling elements, offering deeper and more accessible learning opportunities for visitors of all ages. Exhibits will reflect new research and scholarship while honoring the sacrifices and service of those who fought.
