MORE MUSIC COMING SOON

Today, genre-blurring boundary breaker Lil West shares “Give It All Up” with all streaming platforms via Republic Records.

Produced by Take A Daytrip [Lil Nas X, Sheck Wes, Travis Scott] and Russ Chell [Lil Nas X], the track unfolds like a hazy daydream. Echoing guitar by Chell reverberates over a sparse beat from Take A Daytrip. Meanwhile, Lil West dips in and out of woozy verses before a heartfelt hook. Waving goodbye, he croons, “I’ll feel better when I reach all my goals. Things ain’t lookin’ too good for me and you. And I’m here to lift you up and brighten your soul. And I should give it all up.”

Originally debuted on Soundcloud, the track quietly emerged as a fan favorite with over 186K plays. Now, it finally receives an official release spurned by audience demand.

Earlier this year, Lil West joined forces with Brevin Kim for the Metallic Body Language EP. Complex touted the single “Bleach” on its “Best New Music This Week.” The project also garnered looks from HotNewHipHop, Banger of the Day, Hip Hop Spirit, and more. Meanwhile, the Delaware disruptor continues to post up nearly 450K monthly Spotify listeners.

Last year, Lil West flipped the game upside down with his EP series, Vex Part 1 and Vex Part 2. He put up over 20 million streams with highlights such as “Somedays” [3.7 million Spotify streams] and “Not Sure” [2.5 million Spotify streams] from the first installment and the second installment’s “Want Love” [1.6 million Spotify streams], “Hot Sauce” [1.3 million Spotify streams], and “Bad” [1 million Spotify streams]. Meanwhile, upon the release of Part 2, HotNewHipHop claimed, “The Delaware rapper establishes himself as one of the best up and coming artists in the game.”
