Capaldi To Join Milky Chance On January 2018 North American Tour

Scottish artist Lewis Capaldi releases a new track, “Fade,” today via all digital partners. Listen HERE. The track was co-written by Capaldi and Grammy-Award winner Malay (Frank Ocean, Sam Smith, Zayn Malik), who also produced it.

“The whole process of creating ‘Fade’ has been a bit surreal. I co-wrote it with Malay, who also produced the track. I’m such a massive fan of his and it was incredible to work on this together. Like my other two singles, we ended up using parts of the original demo in the final song which I loved and I hope everyone enjoys listening to it as much as I’ve enjoyed making it,” says Capaldi, 20, who was recently nominated for a Breakthrough Artist of the Year Award at the Scottish Music Awards.
“Fade” will appear on Capaldi’s upcoming debut EP, Bloom, which will be released on Capitol Records on October 20th. Bloom also features Capaldi’s previous singles Lost On You,” which was included in Spotify’s New Music Friday in over 20 countries, and “Bruises,” which held the No. 1 spot on Spotify’s New Music Friday playlist and has amassed over 26 million total streams globally. A stripped-down ballad that looks back on a failed relationship, “Bruises” showcases Capaldi’s nimble vocal ability, as he effortlessly slips between smooth baritone, gravelly mid-tone, and haunting falsetto with pinpoint accuracy. Hailing from the small town of Bathgate, outside of Glasgow, Capaldi sold out two headlining shows at Glasgow’s famed King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut and embarked on his first UK headlining tour, which sold out within minutes, before any of his music was officially released. He will tour Europe this fall with Rag’n’Bone Man, followed by his second UK sold out headlining tour in December. Tickets and tour dates can be found HERE. Capaldi will also tour the U.S. and Canada with Milky Chance in January. See below for all tour dates.

The track-listing for the Bloom EP is as follows:
1. Fade

2. Bruises

3. Mercy

4. Lost On You
