FAMILY NOT A GROUP represents the historic union of Southern California’s Hit-Boy and the Bay Area’s SOB X RBE . Their new 20-city headlin­ing U.S. tour, the Strictly Only Brothers Tour (with SOB X RBE affiliate Sneakk, and Peacoat Gang) kicked off in February at the Ill Points Festival in Florida.  It includes both weekends of Coachella (April 14 & 21) and the Sunday climax of the Boston Calling festival (May 26), before wrapping up on the final day of New York’s prestigious Governor’s Ball on June 2.
 
Hit-Boy (aka Chauncey Hollis, Jr.) arrives at Def Jam after more than a decade of success on contemporary music’s front line as a producer with over twenty platinum records, and nearly twenty Hot 100 hits. He received his first Grammy Award® for 2011’s 4x-platinum “N*ggas In Paris” by Jay-Z and Kanye West (Best Rap Song); his most recent Grammy came for Ariana Grande’s global #1 Sweetener of 2018 (Best Pop Vocal Album).  In addition to Grammy nominations for his work with Kendrick Lamar (Good Kid, Maad City) and Beyoncé(Lemonade and her self-titled Beyoncé), Hit-Boy received three 2019 Grammy nominations for his work on Travis Scott’s Astroworld album

Celebrated Bay Area rap group SOB X RBE are opening a new chapter after a meteoric rise in 2018 that saw them tour with Post Malone and 21 Savage, appear alongside Kendrick Lamar on the Black Panther soundtrack, and grace the cover of The FADER’s Summer Music Issue. The new collaborative album with Grammy award-winning producer Hit-Boy marks their second release of what is set to be an even bigger 2019, following the recent release of Yhung T.O.’s On My Momma 2and releases from DaBoii and Slimmy B still to come.
