South London based ones-to-watch Balcony share new release “Tattoo” via Parlophone/Elektra. The track is now available on all streaming platforms and is accompanied by an animated lyric video. Watch HERE. The magnetic four-piece follow the release of pop tracks ‘Girls’ and ‘He Don’t Trust Me’ with the anthemic ‘Tattoo’ produced by The Six and Mark Ralph. The captivating track is a welcomed return for a band who have been keeping busy during lockdown with instagram dance-offs, Netflix watch along party with their fans, lockdown karaoke and fan artwork competitions.

Speaking on their new single, Balcony said: ‘‘’Tattoo’ is about something that sticks with you forever, whether that be a choice, a decision, a relationship, or something that troubles you. It’s about either dealing with that or accepting it. Sonically, we’ve always loved elements of hip-hop, so we wanted something that had tones of that, whilst, at the same time, keeping it anthemic and colourful.” Balcony continue to put their own stamp on global pop influences including The 1975, Lauv and Troye Sivan, having featured as UK tour support for Lewis Capaldi as well as supporting breakout Australian star Tones & I.

Naturally gifted performers, Balcony have become a sought-after live act having played at last year’s Reading & Leeds, Sundown & Citadel Festival in addition to their sold out headline show at London’s Camden Assembly. Balcony’s ‘Slow Down’ EP has been championed by the UK’s BBC Radio 1 and Radio X and their previous single ‘Pink Hair, Green Eyes’ has reached over 5 million streams on DSPs. Fresh, bold and self-aware, Balcony are every inch the modern pop band. With further music due for release, if it’s unapologetic pop that stands for something you’re after, there should only be one name on your lips.
