Kyle × Concerts In Your Car

June is all about graduations, but coronavirus restrictions have quashed most celebrations this year. Enter CBF Productions. The founders of crowd-pleasing favorites Boots & Brews Country Music Festival and the Winter Wine Walk have created a social distancing solution so that grads and their families can celebrate in style at the Ventura County Fairgrounds. Scheduled for June 26 & June 27, “Congrats to Grads!” will feature Ventura native Kyle, the popular rapper, singer, and songwriter, kicking off of the Concerts In Your Car series of live entertainment events.

Kyle, who just released two new songs from his upcoming new album; “YES! (feat. Rich The Kid and K Camp)” and “What It Is,” skyrocketed up the charts with his chart-topping, 6x-platinum breakout hit “iSpy.” Rolling Stone magazine named Kyle as “one of the ten artists you need to know” and his now Gold-certified debut album Light of Mine was released in 2017. The following year, Kyle made his acting debut, starring in the Netflix hip-hop comedy The After Party.

“Even with social distancing, we wanted to give people a way to get out, celebrate and have some fun!” said Vincenzo Giammanco, owner of CBF Productions. “Our team got creative and decided to develop a new type of experience that will bring excitement to the summer of 2020 despite the pandemic. We plan on producing events offering a range of entertainment more announcements will follow soon.”

The events will offer room for 500 cars per show and are designed to comply with all official restrictions. The combination of an extra high stage
and five oversized screens will ensure a good viewing experience for everyone.

In addition to performances by Kyle, the 75-minute program will include a visual light show, multi-media entertainment and a video saluting the attending graduates. Sound will be distributed via FM radio. Tickets are sold in advance and online only and are priced starting at $49 per car with up to 5 people per vehicle. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Food Share, Ventura County’s largest food bank.

While no food is available for purchase at the concert, attendees will be provided with a comprehensive list of downtown Ventura restaurants that feature curbside pickup. With the fairgrounds just three blocks from the Ventura downtown district where many beloved local restaurants are located, the concert will provide a much-needed boost to local eateries.

The concert celebrating 2020 grads is just the tip of the iceberg for CBF Productions. The company is currently in negotiation with various cities throughout California to produce a series of live concerts throughout the summer. Other themes being considered are Comedy, Country Music, Top 40 and a show specifically for kids.
