Kai Cenat, the record-breaking Twitch streamer and YouTube creator, made his highly anticipated return to announce the official Streamer University class of 2026 — watch here. Participants were selected through a competitive application process with in-person auditions held across New York City, Atlanta, and Los Angeles.
Last month, Cenat announced the official return of Streamer University on his socials with a cinematic Harry Potter-inspired trailer that generated over 3 million likes and 160,000 comments, teasing uniforms, returning alumni, and more — watch here.
Streamer University was first launched in 2025 at The University of Akron in Akron, Ohio. This four-day convention brought together over 120 selected creators and professors such as Duke Dennis, DDG (Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr.), ChrisnNxtDoor, and Agent 00 to foster collaboration, mentorship, and content creation at scale. Students’ flights, housing, and tech equipment were fully covered by Cenat and sponsors. The inaugural class generated over 27 million hours watched, and with more than 1 million applicants for that first session, the 2026 edition is poised to be even more ambitious.
Cenat’s return comes as one of the most anticipated moments in the streaming world this year. Boasting over 16 million Instagram followers and 20 million Twitch followers, he rose to cultural prominence through a series of record-breaking streams featuring Kevin Hart, Snoop Dogg, Lebron James, Lil Uzi Vert, Druski and more — setting the all-time record for the highest paying-subscriber count in Twitch history. Streamer University is Kai’s most ambitious project yet, cementing his role not just as a creator, but as a builder of the next generation of digital talent.
