Dave East × Godfather 4

Meteoric Harlem rapper, model and actor Dave East drops “Godfather 4” today, newest advance track from SURVIVAL, his long-awaited debut album set to arrive on November 8th via Def Jam Record­­ings/Mass Appeal Records. “Godfather 4,” features Nas, production by Green Lantern and also features celebrated New Orleans brass band The Soul Rebels, and equally famed jazz trumpeter Keyon Harrold. The new single follows up “Alone” featuring Jacquees, which was released earlier this month.

As the 14-day countdown to the release of SURVIVAL gets underway, tickets continue to sell-out quickly to the first leg of U.S. and European dates on the Dave East Survival Tour Part 1, opening November 22nd at the Masquerade in Atlanta.  After one week of U.S. shows, the tour moves to the UK and Europe. (Please see tour dates below.)

SURVIVAL follows up Survival Pacc,’ Dave East’s two-song summer EP, which comprised “Wanna be a G” featuring Max B, and “Everyday” featuring Gunna.  The menacing video for “Everyday,” directed by Andrew Sandler, features Dave East at a high stakes poker game, intercut with Gunna trading bars with East in a dimly lit room – watch it HERE.

Dave East’s Def Jam/Mass Appeal saga took off in August 2017 with the release of his lauded mixtape,Paranoia: A True Story. The 13-track mixtape gained traction behind Dave’s Def Jam debut single“Perfect” featuring Chris Brown, whose VIDEO boasts more than 40 million combined YouTube views of to date.
