Gambling can be very exciting, whether it involves a night at the casino, a day out at a horse race meeting, or even a civilized game of bingo. It is easy to see why so many a bit of gambling and here are some of the most well known.

The actor who is perhaps better known for his roles in the Die Hard movies is reportedly a keen gambler and is rumored to have once won $500,000 playing baccarat in Atlantic City. He has also played a role in the film Lay the Favorite, in which he plays a sports gambler.
 

Steven Spielberg

 
Spielberg needs no introduction for his work as a movie director but not many people know that he enjoys horse racing so much that he owns his own racehorses, one of which ran in the 2003 Kentucky Derby. He also directed a film that is revolved around the friendship between a man and a horse, called War Horse.
 

Robbie Williams

 
The former Take That band member is known to love playing a bit of bingo, having been spotted in the bingo halls around his hometown of Stoke-on-Trent. Gary Barlow allegedly hosted a bingo party which the band attended whilst they were still all on good terms. These days we imagine Robbie gets his bingo fix by playing from the list of bingo games available online, to avoid being hounded by fans at land-based bingo halls.
 

Tiger Woods

 
The golfer, who has made one of the biggest sporting comebacks ever after years out in the wilderness with injury, is also a keen blackjack player. He is known to head to the casinos and play for large sums of money at top spots like MGM Grand Resort and the Bellagio. Sports stars often unwind with games like blackjack and poker, with A-Rod also said to be a big fan of the casino.
 

Drew Barrymore

 
Drew Barrymore enjoys the casinos so much that she decided to head straight to Las Vegas after finalizing her divorce with Will Kopelman. The Charlies Angels and E.T. actress hooked up with J Lo whilst she was there and looks like she took in some other fun activities as well as hitting the casinos. Baywatch legend Pamela Anderson is rumored to have married poker player Rick Salomon after losing a game of poker to him. They had been long-term friends but their marriage was short-lived. They did get married a second time, but went on to divorce again.
