This Friday, August 13, Cyrus and FIREROSE will perform New Day on the Grand Ole Opry. The performance will be FIREROSE’s debut in the world-famous sacred Circle.

Johnny Cash, June Carter Cash, Loretta Lynn, Dolly Parton and so many more graced this iconic stage before me, so it’s a real honor to have the opportunity to stand in that Circle with Cyrus and perform the song we wrote together that means so much at this time, where we’re all praying for a New Day,’  FIREROSE shared.

Reviewers across genres are praising New Day:

Billy Ray Cyrus never met a collaboration he didn’t like. This time, he pairs up with Australian singer FIREROSE for this trippy, atmospheric ballad about revitalization and rebirth….lending more evidence that BRC is an ever-changing musical chameleon. – Rolling Stone / Joseph Hudak & Jon Freeman

The new song is an uplifting anthem promising the dawning of a better age… combines elements of indie pop and country, creating a unique sound of two very different performers. Billy Ray Cyrus…added his ever-special country flair. – American Songwriter / Audrey Gibbs

An intriguing collaboration. With a shimmering indie pop sound, crisp beats and an uneasy vocal blend, the song is a pulsating slow jam — and its abstract video matches the vibe. Written by the country star and emerging artist over Zoom, the track features a distinctly conflicted energy, mixing light and dark at the start of a fresh cultural chapter. – Sounds Like Nashville / Lauren Laffer

It’s a hypnotic, swirling, dreamy confection, underpinned by echoey synths and slow, thumpy beats. I can hear this becoming a big pop hit. After all, he’s done it before. – Music Row / Robert K Oermann

FIREROSE’s vocals on ‘New Day’ are crystalline and crisp, and they blend well with Cyrus’ rich vocals. This collaboration is a match made in musical heaven. – Digital Journal / Markos Papadatos
