Reebok, the iconic and irreverent sports culture brand, joins forces with the legendary Eames Office to introduce their third and final collection in celebration of the creative legacy of Charles and Ray Eames. This remarkable partnership, dating back to 2021, redefines the boundaries of creativity and sets new standards in the footwear industry. Among the collection’s highlights is the Reebok x Eames Classic Nylon, Instapump Fury 95, and Beatnik Sandal.

Charles and Ray Eames, renowned for their groundbreaking contributions to furniture, industrial design, films, exhibitions, toys, and architecture, approached problem-solving as an adventurous journey. Their work exemplified a harmonious blend of discipline and playfulness, an ethos that continues to inspire generations of designers. Together with the multifaceted team at Eames Office, the dynamic duo established a benchmark for design excellence.

Through the synergy of fashion, art, and design, this tri-season collaboration seeks to elevate Reebok Icons to the status of design icons within the footwear industry. Drawing on the legacy of Charles and Ray Eames, the collection is a testament to the office’s enduring influence on modern design, as told through the playful reinterpretation of Reebok’s Classic Nylon, Instapump Fury 96, and Beatnik Sandal.

Product Highlights

The FW23 Reebok x Eames collection boasts a trio of iconic footwear styles, each infused with Eames’ distinctive aesthetic:

Reebok x Eames Classic Nylon: Retailing at $130 USD, this unisex Eames Classic Nylon takes inspiration from Reebok’s timeless Classic Nylon shoe, a design that has become an icon in the athletic footwear industry. The shoe’s side window features the Eames name in the designer’s distinctive colors   which pays homage to the Eameses’ mastery of color. With a custom Eames footbed and tongue label, each step in these sneakers is a journey into the world of design excellence. The custom Eames box and five laces add a touch of exclusivity to this limited-edition release.

Reebok x Eames Instapump Fury 95: Priced at $200 USD, the unisex Eames Instapump Fury 95 is a bold reinterpretation of the Reebok Instapump Fury, a silhouette that has made waves in the sneaker world since its inception. This collaboration merges the innovative design of the Instapump Fury with the creative genius of Charles and Ray Eames through a nod to Eames’ visionary contribution to the still futuristic IBM pavilion designed for the 1964 World’s Fair. The shoe features an Eames branded pump bladder and heel, showcasing the Eameses’ commitment to pushing the boundaries of design and technology. A custom Eames footbed ensures maximum comfort, while the custom box adds a touch of elegance to this high-performance sneaker.

Reebok x Eames – Beatnik: Available for $130 USD, the unisex Eames Beatnik is a contemporary take on the classic Beatnik silhouette, known for its timeless style and versatility. Eames’ legendary Crosspatch patterns—drawn from the collaboration’s unique access to the Eames Office archives—are brought to the forefoot, creating a unique and eye-catching design, supported by a custom outsole which pays homage to the Eameses’ attention to detail and craftsmanship. Each pair of Beatniks comes in a custom box, elevating this true collector’s item.
