 NEW YORK (February 10, 2020) – Lil Wayne’s highly anticipated 13th solo studio album, Funeral, debuted at No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard 200 Chart. Released via Young Money Records/Republic Records,Funeral marks Wayne’s 5th No. 1 album on the U.S. Billboard 200 Chart, joining Tha Carter V (2018), Tha Carter IV (2011), I Am Not a Human Being (2010) and Tha Carter III (2008).

The album contains 24 tracks, as well as star-studded features from Big Sean, 2 Chainz, Lil Baby, The-Dream, XXXTentacion, Jay Rock, Takeoff, Adam Levine, O.T. Genasis and Lil Twist. As a tribute to Kobe Bryant, the 8th track, “Bing James,” ends with a 24-second moment of silence.

Following the album’s release, Wayne shocked audiences when he performed Lenny Kravitz’s “Are You Gonna Go My Way” as a robot on the season premiere of The Masked Singer, which aired following the Super Bowl.
