Liverpool trio The Wombats have unveiled a dark, cinematic music video for their new single “Lemon To A Knife Fight” PRESS HERE to watch via NME. The visual puts a twist on the song’s exploration of a toxic relationship’s emotional rollercoaster with a sinister plot involving kidnapping and attempted murder, which finds the heroine turning the tables on her attackers thanks to a phantasmagoric transformation.

Director Finn Keenan shared, “The idea for this video came from the line in the brief ‘David Lynch meets Power Rangers’. I wanted to make something that started off dark, surreal and little bit disturbing but then flip it on its head with a big ole’ twist that led to a ludicrous ending. These hunters do this every month, but this time they picked the wrong werewolf.”
