Join SNIPES, Under Armour and Philadelphia’s own KUR for the second annual Back-to-School Drive on Saturday, August 23rd at West Philadelphia Container Village from 12:00PM to 6:00PM.
This free, open-to-the-public community event will equip local students for the new school year with over 1,000 Under Armour backpacks filled with supplies, while also treating families to free meals, haircuts, manicures from Revere Spa, giveaways, and live entertainment.
The stage will be headlined by KUR alongside rising star Lay Bankz, with DJ sets by DJ Nash, KillSing, and DJ Crazy keeping the energy high all afternoon.
WHAT: Snipes, Under Armour, and KUR are teaming up for their second annual Back-to-School Drive. The event aims to equip local youth for the school year ahead by distributing over 1,000 Under Armour backpacks filled with supplies. To make the day even more impactful, families will be treated to free meals, complimentary haircuts, manicures provided by Revere Spa, exciting giveaways, and a lineup of live entertainment. Performances from KUR and rising artist Lay Bankz will headline the stage, with DJ sets by DJ Nash, KillSing, and DJ Crazy keeping the energy high throughout the afternoon.
For KUR, who returned to his alma mater last year to donate 450 backpacks and school supplies, the drive is about continuing to invest in his community and inspiring the next generation. “Philadelphia has given me everything—it’s only right that I give back,” says KUR. “This Back-to-School Drive is about more than just supplies; it’s about showing love, building confidence, and reminding kids that the city is behind them.” Together, Snipes, Under Armour, and KUR are bringing the city a celebration of community, culture, and care, helping young people start the school year prepared, confident, inspired, and in style.
