Sky High for Kids

Brittany Hebert has always had big life aspirations and makes them happen. As CEO of Sky High for Kids, a non-profit that raises money to combat childhood cancer she hasn’t met a challenge she wasn’t up for. Since 2018, Brittany and Sky High has pledged $40 million dollars towards pediatric cancer research.  She has set a 15-year goal to raise it, but she’s promised to do it and she is well on her way.

Growing up in a small, rural town in South Louisiana her childhood was never easy. Her father was disabled in a helicopter crash and struggled with PTSD. Her parent’s divorce caused a downward family spiral including her mother’s drug addiction, father’s depression, grandfathers heart attack and house fire which she nearly escaped alive. In high school she had to work, help raise her brother and handle the day to day household responsibilities.

At 14 years old she was crowned Miss Acadiana, a title that offered her the opportunity to visit St. Jude Children’s research hospital in Memphis.

She kept her faith and used her work ethic to study for the LSAT’s but found her higher calling was Inspired by the courageous kids she met at St. Jude.

Her persistence has been invaluable to raising funds to find a cure for pediatric cancer. She has since raised more than ten million dollars for the facility.

Today she has a growing army of young (mostly female) volunteers, her charity Sky High hosts 15+ events a year in four states. The sought after events include clay shoots with live music and Cajun food, golf tournaments, Ladies Who Brunch events with celebrity guest speakers, and private concerts with some of today’s leading country musicians.
