Nigel Godrich’s acclaimed From The Basement performance series has officially arrived at The Coda Collection, the subscription streaming destination for the most iconic music documentaries, concert films, and episodic series spanning decades and genres. Curated episodes will arrive on the service on a weekly cadence, kicking off with Radiohead’s iconic 2011 appearance in support of the band’s eighth studio album The King of Limbs.

Godrich’s From The Basement features intimate, one-of-a-kind performances from a range of A-list talent and emerging artists. Recorded and produced in close collaboration with each artist, the episodes offer viewers an up-close-and-personal look at the creative process unlike any other filmed live music programming available.

To mark the occasion, Godrich sat down with The Coda Collection’s Editorial Director Greg Kot for a rare interview to discuss the initial impetus for creating From The Basement, his approach to curating guests, the experience of working with each artist to bring their visions to life, and how the series’ influence has stood the test of time. The full filmed interview and Radiohead’s episode are available to watch on The Coda Collection here. Watch a trailer for the series now here.

I’m excited to have these shows air on Coda and be available to a new audience of music lovers, said Godrich.
