NYBG TRAIN SHOW

‘It is the most picturesque season signifier on the east coast besides the illumination of the Rockefeller Center tree.’Vaughn Lowery

The New York Botanical Garden‘s much-loved Holiday Train Show and the outdoor color-and-light experience NYBG GLOW—the first time this festive evening event was available for preview before it opens to the general public.

The Holiday Train Show—a favorite holiday tradition—returns to the Botanical Garden for its 31st year of making memories. Visitors will marvel as model trains zip through an enchanting display of more than 190 New York landmarks, each delightfully re-created from natural materials such as birch bark, lotus pods, and cinnamon sticks by the creative team at Applied Imagination.

As day turns to night on select dates, families and friends can start a new holiday tradition exploring the Garden’s breathtakingly illuminated landscape and enjoying food and magical experiences at NYBG GLOW, expanded for its third year.
