La Guarimba is a short film and illustration festival in southern Italy that will celebrate its fifth edition from 7th to 11th of August in Amantea, Calabria (Italy) and has between its partners VIMEO.
Every year we call 30 international illustrators to make a poster with our monkey and our slogan (Bringing the cinema back to the people and the people back to the cinema). During the days of the festival, the exhibition takes place in La Grotta (The Cave), a beautiful natural park where centuries ago instead of trees and grass there use to be the sea.
Curated by illustrator Sara Fratini, this year’s posters showcase the incredible use of color, art, typography, layout, and design by illustrators from all over the world.
