SOAPBOX DEBUTS NEW 3D HOLOGRAPHIC EXPERIENCE VIA META QUEST

Blackground Records 2.0 proudly announced today that Aaliyah‘s new track, “Gone,” featuring Tank, will be available on all DSPs starting August 1. The song debuted on May 2 on BLK Stream and is currently #11 on the Billboard Adult R&B Airplay Chart. To date, it has garnered over 7 million on-demand plays. “Gone” was co-written by Static Major and Tank and produced by Sean Garrett and Azul Wynter.
Sean Garrett says about the track “I felt like being a part of this “Gone” record was an amazing opportunity. Growing up admiring Aaliyah, who is such an icon, has completely been an inspiration for all of us. I could not have been more blessed to have made a record with her and Tank. This Friday, August 1, Soapbox will unveil a new 3D holographic experience in collaboration with Blackground Records: the debut of “Gone”, a new track from Aaliyah and Tank. Available for free on the Soapbox app via Meta Quest, the immersive experience features Tank as a life-size hologram performing in a visually rich 3D environment, accompanied by archival footage of Aaliyah from her legendary career.
