Adapting to the new norm- with top model and TV personality Simonetta Lein.

While the pandemic has made our lives grim and boring, top model and influencer Simonetta Lein recent shoot with designer Steve Boi and her crew was a breath of fresh air. Taking care of all precautions and protocols, it was refreshing to shoot in the Philadelphia summer sun, wearing the lively colors by The Confessional Showroom NY, and shooting for the the SK8T collection like a rockstar. “Back in January when I did my latest major photoshoot, little did I know that our lives would have been challenged to the point that continuing with my normal activities would have become so difficult.

Being able to do a photoshoot during a quarantine was very challenging and at the same time so rewarding, like winning a World Cup championship.” said icon Simonetta Lein. After being named this year as one of the top 5 most powerful women in fashion together with Anna Wintour, Donna Karan, DVF and Vera Wang she recently have been awarded as one of the top 9 power women in the world by USA Today. This powerhouse continued to film her TV show – The Simonetta Lein Show via BOLD TV – despite the odds of this current time.

“I started in February going to the studios in NY and right after the world collapsed. No more studios, and it seemed no more TV show. I had to re adapt and find new ways with my team and I was able to continue with the production via remote, reaching amazing A list celebrities such as Jay Shetty, Kim Sledge, Kevin Sorbo, Robert Davi and many more. I just recently went back to the studios interviewing Fox News contributor Tyrus, actor Leon and actor Sean Kanan. What a great feeling to be back!”

Definitely Simonetta is teaching us two main things that you need to have in order to succeed during testing times – A Positive Outlook and Resilience. “I thank my team for trusting my vision- the production manager Raphael Anthony Amabile, the photographer Nicole Tienken @nicole.tienken.photo, the makeup artist Staci Hardy @blumahogany, the hairstylist @aronstyle, the hair colorist Kristin Jewell @jewello_ and my incredible designer the African American icon Stevie Boi @sbshades who made me feel like a true rockstar and @mirimari_fashion through @theconfessionalshowroom that gave me the Oscar vibe of a princess while in quarantine.”
