KATSEYE DROPS NEW SINGLE ‘PINKY UP’

Spread the love

Ahead of their debut performance at Coachella on Friday, KATSEYE unveils their new single, “PINKY UP.” The edgy, high-energy track expands the world that the two-time GRAMMY®-nominated global girl group has been building – confident, playful and always pushing pop forward. Featuring bold percussion and a lead bassline topped with sleek synth textures, the song delivers a bold, punk-inspired message of living life to the fullest without hesitation. The track was produced by dwilly, “hitman” bang and FRANTS. Listen to “PINKY UP” HERE.

Directed by Bardia Zeinali (Kacey Musgraves, Troye Sivan) and produced by Roisín Moloney (Beyoncé, Lady Gaga), the accompanying video transforms everyday environments into KATSEYE’s own playground, a place where acceptance, confidence and joy take center stage. Moving through these spaces with a sharp sense of attitude, the members create their own reality within the ordinary. View HERE. “PINKY UP” made its broadcast premiere on MTV Live, MTVU and on the Paramount Times Square billboards.

In addition to playing Coachella, KATSEYE will headline the 2026 Head In The Clouds and Hinterland Music festivals and perform at The Governors Ball. See below for itinerary. KATSEYE’s first-ever tour – in support of their EP BEAUTIFUL CHAOS (HYBE x Geffen Records), which debuted in the top five of the Billboard 200 – was completely sold-out.

Praising KATSEYE’s performance at the 2026 GRAMMY Awards – where they were nominated for Best New Artist and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance – Forbes said, “KATSEYE Steals The Show…” while ELLE hailed it as “One of the Night’s Most Talked-About Performances.” View their performance HERE and check out Vogue’s coverage of their final GRAMMY fitting HERE. Days later, KATSEYE made their debut appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” where the group discussed the GRAMMYs and demoed their dance from the State Farm commercial that premiered during the Big Game.

The group earned a spot on The Washington Post’s Post Next: 50 People Shaping Our Society in 2026. Vogue delved into why the world “can’t stop talking about” KATSEYE in its April issue. New York Magazine’s The Cut chronicled 36 hours in the lives of the six group members in its Spring 2026 cover story. In this video, The Cut goes thrifting with KATSEYE. The group received a GLAAD Media Awards nomination for Outstanding Breakthrough Music Artist.

KATSEYE – comprising Daniela (Cuban/Venezuelan-American, from Atlanta, GA), Lara (Indian, from New York, NY), Manon (Ghanaian-Italian, from Zurich, Switzerland), Megan (Chinese-American, from Honolulu, HI), Sophia (Manila, Philippines), and Yoonchae (Seoul, South Korea) – bring a truly international perspective to pop culture. Formed through HYBE and Geffen Records’ Dream Academy and Netflix’s Pop Star Academy, the group was named one of Google’s top trending musicians in the U.S. in 2025 and crowned TikTok’s Global Artist of the Year.
