KATSEYE – who recently received their first two GRAMMY® nominations for Best New Artist and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for the breakout hit “Gabriela” – kicked off their first-ever tour on November 15 at The Armory in Minneapolis, MN. The tour is named for the group’s new EP, BEAUTIFUL CHAOS (HYBE x Geffen Records), which debuted in the top 5 of the Billboard 200.
When tickets for KATSEYE: The Beautiful Chaos Tour sold out immediately, the group added second shows in New York City, San Francisco and Los Angeles, which also sold out. The headline run continues tomorrow, November 18, with a show at The Theatre at Great Canadian Toronto.
In New York City, KATSEYE will play The Hammerstein Ballroom on November 21 and The Theater at Madison Square Garden on November 22. West Coast dates include a two-night stand at The Theater at Bill Graham Civic in San Francisco (December 5 & 6) and Los Angeles area shows at YouTube Theater (December 12) and the Hollywood Palladium (December 13). The tour will wrap up on December 16 at Teatro Metrópolitan in Mexico City. See below for itinerary. All information can be found on www.katseye.world. KATSEYE gave Vogue a first look at their tour wardrobe in this feature.
Over the summer, the group played their first festivals. NYLON praised KATSEYE’s “red-hot Lollapalooza debut.” Coveteur went backstage with the group for a look at the fashions selected especially for their performance in this feature. Next, the group flew to Japan to perform at Summer Sonic Festival in Tokyo. In late October, KATSEYE made their first-ever UK appearance. Melanie C (Spice Girls) was on hand to moderate a Q&A with KATSEYE before their performance. Rolling Stone UK noted, “KATSEYE are, dare I say it, the Spice Girls of the social media age…. I think they will become the defining girl group of the 2020s.”
BEAUTIFUL CHAOS includes the hits “Gnarly,” which has already amassed 100 million combined global streams, and “Gabriela,” which HYPEBEAST praised as “a bold evolution in [KATSEYE’s] artistic direction.” KATSEYE went on to team up with Young Miko for a remix of “Gabriela,” earning widespread praise. Rolling Stone said, “The new version of the fan-favorite [‘Gabriela’] comes just days after Katseye made history with a massive crowd on the Lollapalooza mainstage in Chicago over the weekend.” Remezcla observed, “[The] remix has transformed this song into an undeniable Latine queer anthem.”
KATSEYE recently won the MTV Video Music Award for Push Performance of the Year for “Touch.” The group performed two songs at the ceremony –“Gnarly” (view HERE) and “Gabriela” (view HERE). ELLE chronicled their night of firsts in this article. The FADER said, “KATSEYE’s 2025 VMAs performances prove they’re up next.” Harper’s Bazaar praised their “jaw-dropping performance of ‘Gabriela’…they brought the heat with sensual choreography that made the crowd go wild.” Entertainment Tonight said, “KATSEYE Slays VMAs” and spoke with the group in this clip.
For Halloween, KATSEYE shot a special video, inspired by a question they got on the VMA red carpet: “What is your favorite Mariah Carey video?” Playing a journalist in the clip, “Saturday Night Live” star Bowen Yang poses the question, and each group member responds by modeling a look from Carey’s music videos. Carey, who was honored with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at the VMA’s, makes a cameo. View the video HERE. Teen Vogue declared, “KATSEYE Goes Full Mariah Carey For Their First Halloween Costume. And we’re obsessed.”
When GAP tapped KATSEYE for its fall 2025 “Better in Denim” campaign, the commercial instantly went viral as fans began posting clips of themselves doing the moves from the Robbie Blue-choreographed spot. View the ad, which has over 45 million views on YouTube alone, HERE. As Bustle noted in this feature from its Entertainers issue, “It seems just about everything the group does goes viral…” Highsnobiety and Teen Vogue went behind-the-scene of the commercial shoot.
KATSEYE – comprising Daniela (Cuban/Venezuelan-American, from Atlanta, GA), Lara (Indian, from New York, NY), Manon (Ghanaian-Italian, from Zurich, Switzerland), Megan (Chinese-American, from Honolulu, HI), Sophia (Manila, Philippines), and Yoonchae (Seoul, South Korea) – is the first group of its kind, forged within the high standards of the K-pop system, as seen in HYBE and Geffen Records’ groundbreaking Dream Academy show and artist development program (and later, the Netflix docuseries, Pop Star Academy: KATSEYE). Named an artist to watch for 2025 by VEVO DSCVR and TIDAL, KATSEYE was recently featured on the digital cover of i-D and sat down with The Associated Press’ Liam McEwan for an interview, which can be viewed HERE.
