Bravo viewers will have an exclusive opportunity to enjoy Peacock’s “The Gentle Art of Swedish Death Cleaning,” with three episodes from the first season airing Thursdays at 10:30pm ET/PT, beginning August 17, following all-new episodes of “Project Runway.”  

·       From the creators of “Queer Eye” and based on Margareta Magnusson’s best-selling book, this transformational series follows eight people at different stages of their lives as they are given the chance to sort out their home, life and relationships before it’s too late. Plucked from Sweden, an organizer, designer, and psychologist — the “Death Cleaners” — come to America to help subjects reinvent themselves by facing their mortality and confronting all that “crap” that has been collecting dust for years so those who are left behind don’t have to.   

·       Emmy Award-Winning comedian and Series Executive Producer Amy Poehler narrates, hilariously guides us on this journey of levity and hope that shows how the practice of Swedish Death Cleaning normalizes one of our worst fears, death – by reminding us of all the ways we are alive.

·       “The Gentle Art of Swedish Death Cleaning” is created and produced by Scout Productions, best known for creating the Emmy Award-winning “Queer Eye” series, along with Amy Poehler’s Paper Kite Productions, and is co-produced by Universal Television Alternative Studio, a division of Universal Studio Group. 

·       With executive producer J.J. Duncan as showrunner, Poehler and Kate Arend executive produce for Paper Kite Productions alongside Scout Productions’ David Collins, Michael Williams, Rob Eric and Renata Lombardo. Original author Margareta Magnusson also serves as executive producer, as well as Jane Magnusson, Stephen M. Morrison, Faye Stapleton and Susanna Lea.
