New York - May 11, 2017: Inkaterra, Peru's premier hotel group specializing in sustainable tourism, has officially unveiled a new organic spa at El MaPi in Machu Picchu Pueblo, one of its properties under the more affordable brand 'byInkaterra.' The new Spa del Bosque is located on the top floor of the property with panoramic views of the village and the surrounding cloud forest.

The spa features four private treatment rooms, a pine sauna, hydro massage showers, a heated plunge pool and a hydration zone, which together create a holistic environment specially designed for the energetic well-being of travelers through comprehensive body treatments, led by professional therapists.

Remaining environmentally conscious, Inkaterra only uses products in its treatments that are 100% organic, derived from botanical extracts, as well as Andean herbs and grains that complete the authentic experience of a visit to Machu Picchu. Each Inkaterra spa respects the ecosystem of its location, utilizing products from the property's organic farms and orchards.

Services include:

Special MaPi Therapy

A combination of three therapies that include: a leg treatment, a relaxing massage, a cranial massage with Inca techniques, and a lymphatic drainage; a synergy of treatments intended to relax every area of stress in a tired body.

Relaxation

To increase the level of relaxation, this therapy includes both a body and a cranial massage, to rest the body and mind.

Deep Tissue Massage

This therapy specifically works on overworked muscles, reducing stress by stretching them. The result is a general state of wellbeing.
