of classic vehicles with superstar pedigree and provenance. The auction will take place on Saturday, May 27, 2017 in Midland, Texas beginning at 10:00 a.m. (CST). From Elvis Presley’s starring Jeep in “Tickle Me” to a Chevrolet Chevelle driven by Ryan Gosling in “Drive,” this auction offers a collection of classic cars and motorcycles seen on the big and small screen and ridden or driven by some of the world’s most celebrated actors and seen on hit shows such as “Mad Men, ”Sons of Anarchy,” “The Car Chasers” and more.
Jeff Allen is a third-generation car enthusiast brought up around an auto shop who later spent years in the corporate world running franchised dealerships from Ford to Toyota. In 2006, after time spent in the corporate world he used his skills to open Flat 12 Gallery in Texas and focused exclusively on collectible vehicles.
Allen has been regularly featured in automobile publications, at automotive events and also at race tracks. He is also the co-host of the popular podcast “Skidmarks” and host of
the television program “The Car Chasers” on CNBC Network.
The Fourth Annual Midland-Odessa Classic Car Auction will be highlighted by sixteen of these vehicles which include a 1999 Buell Motorcycle from “Ghost Rider” ridden by actor Nicolas Cage’ a 1972 Chevrolet Camaro which was built and customized by Kevin Dillon from HBO’s hit show “Entourage;” a 1973 Chevrolet Chevelle from “Drive” driven by it star Ryan Gosling; Two custom motorcycles from “Priest” starring Paul Bettany which include a Kawasaki KLX (The Familiar’s Bike) and a Suzuki Gladias (The Priest Bike); a 1967 Ford Mustang from MTV’s “Awkward;” a VERY RARE right hand drive 1976 Australian Ford Falcon XB Pro Touring –SEMA Build: a 2016 Ford Mustang GT customized to be blacked out with low miles; a 1965 Jeep Tuxedo Edition from “Tickle Me” starring and driven by Elvis Presley; a 1970 Mercedes-Benz C250; a 1957 Porsche Speedster Replica with authentic 911 Porsche motor; a 1964 Shelby Cobra replica designed by Shelby’s lead mechanic; a 2005 SPSLL Sucker Punch Sally Old School Chopper “Mayan” Motorcycle from “Sons of Anarchy;” Two 1986 Toyota 4×4 Extended Cab Pickups from “Six” on the History Channel and a 1950’s Zundapp Motorcycle from the hit television show “Mad Men.”
Aside from the sixteen vehicles from Flat 123 Gallery and the Collection of Jeff Allen, Dan Kruse Classics will also offer several other classic vehicles which include a 2009 Lotus Exige S26 Sport formally owned and specially ordered in Kawasaki Green by comedian, Jerry Seinfeld; 1979 Porsche 930 Turbo complete with whale tail and sunroof; three Chevrolet Corvette Roadsters (1961, ’62 & ’63) from local collector, Gene Plunk; a 1953 Mercury Monterey Convertible. In all they are expecting 175 collectible vehicles to cross the auction block Memorial Day weekend.
