ABOUT: Final Space, starring David Tennant, Fred Armisen, Steven Yuen, and Tom Kenny, is an interstellar comedy created by independent filmmaker, actor, comedian and entrepreneur Olan Rogers. Slated to launch in 2018, Final Space is being produced by Conan O’Brien’s Conaco and New Form, in association with Turner’s Studio T. Rogers and creative partner David Sacks will write the episodes, executive- producing them along with O’Brien, David Kissinger, Larry Sullivan and Jeff Rossof Conaco and Kathleen Grace, Melissa Schneider and Matt Hoklotubbe of New Form.

 

BIOS: 

OLAN ROGERS

Olan Rogers aka The Tennessee Wonder Child is a consummate creator best known for his digital content massing over 900k subscribers and soon-to-debut series on TBS, Final Space. Final Space began as a fan-favorite short film which Rogers wrote, directed, voice acted and produced. It was released on his channel in 2016, and quickly sparked a multi-network bidding war, ultimately selling with a series commitment to TBS. Premiering in 2018, Final Space is produced by Conan O’Brien’s Conaco and New Form, with Rogers continuing to serve as Creator and Executive Producer.

In addition to his entertainment career, Rogers founded and owns The Soda Parlor and a clothing brand Star Cadet in Nashville, Tennessee. Rogers continues to work tirelessly on projects as diverse as special-effects-laden web originals and original animations, a recent sold out stand-up tour of the US, and a science fiction novel. He is based in Los Angeles, California for the present moment.

 

MATT HOKLOTUBBE

As director of development at New Form, Matt Hoklotubbe helps lead all development for New Form’s premium content from inception to delivery. He is an Executive Producer on TBS’s Final Space, which he developed with creator Olan Rogers.

Since joining New Form, Matt oversaw the writing and casting for the romantic comedy “Single By 30,” now on Youtube Red. During his time here he has supervised seven short form series for various digital platforms, including Streamy winning dramas “I Ship It” for CW and “Cold” for Verizon Go90.

Prior to his position at New Form, Matt worked for Ed Helms developing TV and Film at Pacific Electric Picture Company. Before that, he spent four years working in the development department at Imagine Entertainment serving as story editor.

Matt was born and raised in Southern California and attended UCSB for Film Studies where he specialized in screenwriting and film theory.
 

MIKE ROBERTS

JUNO award winning Director Mike Roberts is the Supervising Director of TBS’s Final Space. He’s best known for his work directing episodes of Netflix’s hit animated series, ‘Bojack Horseman’ (starring Will Arnett and Aaron Paul), for which he also created the title sequence. He has directed episodes of ‘F is For Family’ (starring Bill Burr), as well as over 28 episodes of Comedy Central’s ‘Triptank’. He graduated with honors from Canada’s Sheridan College, and moved quickly from jr. animator, to storyboard artist, to director, necessitating his move to Hollywood to pursue his boyhood dream of someday directing a live action version of Knight Rider. In addition to his many TV credits, he’s directed spots for Honda, Burger King, and ABC television, as well as music videos for The Sadies and The Pack AD. He recently sold his series, ‘Dallas and Robo’, starring John Cena and Kat Dennings, to Youtube Red. Mike is repped by Kailey Marsh Media and Verve.

 
COTY GALLOWAY

Coty Galloway is an Actor that lives in West Hollywood, CA. He began his acting career in the realm of Youtube. He has starred in multiple videos for the platform on various channels where those videos have accumulated around 15 millions viewers. Credits include: “Always” -(Award winning and Cannes selection), “Passports” (Award winning), “Ten Years” (Starring, Directed, Produced and Edited by Coty Galloway), “At Long Last”- (Starring, Directed, Produced and Edited by Coty Galloway), “Desert Rose”, “Pop Rocket”.
